Morning feast and knitting~

What did you have to eat this morning? I decided to shake things up and do fried eggs over hash browns. Runny yokes with hash browns is the best!

My table has become my default place to sit and knit. Typically I will watch something on my phone either Astronomy videos or Among Us hijinks on Youtube. On quiet mornings like this where everyone is out of the house and I don’t have to work until noon, the table seems to be just the perfect spot to settle in for the morning.

The body of the crab sweater is done, and I’m going to start on the sleeves today. Debating on whether or not to go over the blue stitches on the body with red, so the crabs match the ones on my son’s beanie… hmm. I’ll decide that at the very end.

It’s been a bit~ heyo! I’m still doing my knitting and running a store thing. In the last year I started DM’ing a game of Dungeons & Dragons with professional wrestlers. Life is good!

Saw the "what's in my bag" tag floating around the other day and thought it would be fun to join. Except my knitting bag is way more interesting than my purse at the moment so I'm posting that. . My Neutral Milk Hotel tote is one of my all time favorite totes and has been my knitting bag of choice for a while. My current knitting project (Breezy Cardigan with Dragon Hoard yarn), my knitting accessories, phone/headphones, and a super hero cape and mask because my son insisted on leaving school as a super hero. Just finished deleting a bunch of old pictures that don't need to be up anymore. Funny how it can be hard to delete pictures. They're just files. Zeros and ones. The memories will live on in my mind and that's fine enough. I saw this bush while out on a walk with Mr. Man and just fell in love. Ever since I took this picture he wants to spend our walks taking pictures of "naaaay-chur" hehe. Every walk I end up with 100-200+ pics he took on my phone. Lazy Sunday = afternoon naps, planner making, video game soundtrack listening (PixelJunk Monsters has been the perfect chill background for our day). Sipping coffee, slowly doing laundry, getting hungry from the yummy smells coming from the crock pot. What I wish I was up to right now. A few months ago life came at me fast and I had to make a few hard decisions, and the repercussions of that is starting to catch up with me. Can't remember the last time we ran out of candy while handing it out at the store. I went through 37 pounds of candy in two hours! What a fun time~ so many awesome costumes, so many nice people, so many new faces. A lot, a lot, a lot of things have been going on in my neck of the woods lately. Some things that are trying to dull my sparkle. Some things that make me question if I should sparkle. Or if I'm even worth sparkling. Ultimately I know I am, and I should. And I will. I am too stubborn not to. Luckily, I am surrounded by people who support me, push me, and love me. Today my son asked me, "Who's in my heart, Mommy?" I said who's that? With a great big smile on his face he said "You are Mommy!".
