I want to be Your Koi Fish - Nine Tails
Warning: +18 content, criminal underworld, intercourse, strong language - and so on
Fanfiction based on: "Baki" by Itagaki Keisuke
>48<
She woke up with a terrible headache. Something had dried on her forehead, probably blood from a blow. She swore violently at the memory of the blonde bitch, gently groping her surroundings. Hands felt only wood, and close to her. It looked like they had locked her in some kind of box, nailed down.
- FUCK! - she threw into oblivion.
It was a stalemate, but it wasn't like that. As long as she was alive, she was not going to give up. She wanted to return relatively safe and sound to her sons and their father. She didn't have much space, so the swing was out. She had to use her grandfather's teachings to go out and tear apart the rag that had locked her up. She clicked her knuckles, then pressed her fingertips to the lapel in front of her. One solid shot, one blow... and the chance of survival will increase.
She remembered what it was like. They stood next to each other, with their fingers on a board that was 20 cm thick, and for each failed attempt they received beatings in the outstretched hand. She was the youngest, she had it in the back of her mind that the rest train longer and she would probably get hit the hardest. She had to focus, to combine all the strength she had not only in her hand and arm, but also in her shoulder, stomach and back. She couldn't be afraid, because how could she pierce through such a block of wood being afraid of it? Fearing a fracture or other injury? When she was less than eight years old, she accomplished what others had done differently. Even Yui managed it later, even though she was much stronger and tougher. She was proud.
Back, belly, shoulder, arm, hand... she's been through a lot, but she had to keep going. She braced herself, then abruptly curled her fingers into a fist to hit the plank, which was thinner than her grandfather's after all, with all her strength. It relented, taking with it a fragment of skin and a few drops of blood, but letting in a mass of heavy earth. Grave?! Nothing mattered. She had to go out, find Kaoru and fuck the blonde haired killer's head. Earth was the opposite of her, but she was born to fight whatever stood in her way. She took in the rest of the air in the coffin, ripping the boards apart to make the passage wider. With difficulty getting to the surface, she noticed that part of what was above her was giving way. Someone found her and tried to dig her up! The scrape of the shovel subsided, apparently someone had noticed the movement from below. She didn't know if it was friend or foe, but if he was going to pull her out, he probably meant no harm to her. She pushed her hand to the surface and, feeling a strong grip, forced herself to leave. An arm yanked her off the ground and she landed facedown on the worn lawn in front of the mock keep they were in to end the whole nasty business. She coughed several times, spitting dirt, whistling in the fresh night air. She turned onto her back and saw her savior's face. Slightly graying, with thinning hair here and there, a strongly built man with blue eyes laughing at her, dressed in black trousers and the same shirt.
- ...dad...? - She croaked with difficulty, pushing herself to a standing position.
- Were you expecting Santa Claus? - The man laughed, clearing his throat mightily. - To naughty children does not come!
She smiled brightly at the sight of him and hugged him tightly. She missed him, long time no see. She felt the heavy, steel-bound sword covers on his back. Two more, much brighter, he strapped to his belt. He undid them hastily and handed them to his daughter.
- Happy Animal Kindness Day, Little Fox! - Goro snorted.
She couldn't help but laugh. After a while, however, she was tearing the bottom buttons of her shirt to fasten the flaps over her stomach, pulling her pants up a little higher and tying the white katanas. It remained to find Kaoru and the rest of the family. She had no intention of sparing herself or taking prisoners. Hanayama was heavily guarded, but there is no greater power in the world than a pissed-off wife. She didn't dull both hurdles swords, one was enough to slit throats, slit viscera, amputate limbs. Old Soga did not give way to her step. She needed to find the love of her life as soon as possible.

He tried to break the wall, but it was extremely thick, definitely made specifically to stop him. He only managed to dent one layer, although he was sure that if he concentrated, he would smash the whole thing to a smithereens. He was interrupted by a male voice coming from somewhere in the ceiling.
- I do not recommend destroying the wall between you, Hanayama. If you do, the defense systems on the other side will activate and everything alive will be shot. - He muttered calmly, clearly sipping something. - Ah, unfortunately, I'm afraid that bitch of yours, Kitsune, will take one bullet, not more than ten high caliber magazines, as in your case.
He caught Kizaki's horrified look. Unfortunately, their interlocutor was right. Hanabi was strong, regenerating quickly, dodging blows nimbly, but one accurate shot would be enough to kill her. There was no doubt who was talking to them. He recognized the tone of voice, especially the contempt when he spoke of any woman. Fujiwara knew perfectly well that Hanayama would not sacrifice his wife under any circumstances, and he was to listen politely and do as he was told. In the meantime, he had to find a weak spot and also give Hanabi enough time to do her job.
- I thought you already got what you wanted. - Kaoru said slowly.
- Oh, Hanayama, don't be stupider than the law says! - Fudo laughed. - You've been messing with me from the start, especially with that saintly attitude of yours. You're blocking my biggest deals because you don't like a few naked, moaning asses! I thought Japan's best murderer would kill you by tempting you with a short skirt, but it turns out you fucked her and ringed!
He clenched his fist nervously, and feeling Kizaki's hand on his shoulder, he slightly loosened his grip. He looked at his deputy. He shook his head. He was probably right, Fujiwara only wanted to infuriate him so that he would be an easy target. Exceptionally, he agreed that it was too early for such solutions. They walked along the corridor, looking carefully around to get straight to him, and with great confidence pouring out of the speakers, he continued the conversation.
- Really, you have the nerve to spoil everything for me so brazenly. She also. I thought if the darling "Daddy by choice" slapped her it would be over, but of course the bitch must be like you, she fucking got up. - he barked nervously. - And I coaxed him long enough to snap her neck, especially since he had nine fucking months to kill two at once. But no, his conscience moved him, because his beloved experimental bunny was with a belly! Yes, I knew, Hanayama, that you had a brat on the way. You don't think I'd let you multiply, do you? It didn't work out this time, you got in my way...but I'll find those little copies of you...fuck it before it grows...
It boiled inside him, and he quickened his pace. He couldn't let his family suffer again. He didn't get caught for that! He listened with pain to the subsequent arguments, enriched by distinctly female voices in the background. Fudo laughed raucously, and a moment later there was a crack as if there was a firm buttock right next to the microphone.
- As it turns out, your clan can be killed, you just need to hit it well. It was enough to start with the already decaying head, your grandfather, and also the one who kept the cut for too long. It's supposedly an amazing sight to watch the IMMORTAL Tatsu die. - Fujiwara laughed, sipping something again. - Oh, that's right, I was going to tell you...since we're on the subject of dying. That little wife of yours probably won't last long, you know? It's amazing how many people she's killed in cold blood, no problem, and how much she won't let you get killed. Indeed, you are providing me with first-class entertainment! She was the only one who got downstairs, to her old friend.
He froze upon hearing this information. An old friend?
- Do you remember Mai, the lovely blonde who came by to wish you a wedding? - he asked rhetorically, then continued. - She's Shiro Kitsune's psychofan, she loves her company, just like the smell of blood... I guess it won't last long, who knows, sweet Mrs. Hanayama is probably dying already. But if she survives and you kick the calendar, I'll take her and all your lands with her, eh? Don't worry, I'll take care of her! I'll thrash every night in a way you wouldn't think of, you'll hear her scream from beyond the grave. This pretty face will flow with my sperm... you know how they say: if a woman yells at night, she doesn't talk back during the day!
It was too much! He had to find him as soon as possible, to smash the cheeky head that was insulting the love of his life! However, he was stopped by the growing fog, almost as thick as milk, filling the corridor faster and faster, shortened by another wall falling with a crash. Before he knew it, he felt all his muscles go limp, his eyelids droop, and he felt more and more drowsy.

He finally AGREED, and she wanted to fly with joy, despite the rather unpleasant circumstances. She took it as evidence of what was probably the best diplomacy she was capable of, though perhaps it had little to do with diplomacy. All that remained was to hit his deputy, stubbornly trying to stop her for her own good, and they could go. It also seemed like Naito finally sided with her, implying more seriousness towards her. She was shocked and delighted at the same time, the period since returning to her human body had been remarkably fruitful. It's time to clean up some dirt from the past so you can move on with your hooves. Ueda had mentioned that the place they were interested in was in the middle of nowhere, on the outskirts of the country, and he wasn't wrong one bit. Sakura led them along roads, even wilderness, the existence of which she had no idea, but she tried to stay alert, instead of admiring the views, although they really pleased the eye. She wished the pair of swords had stayed in the family home, she had to do without them. A fortress appeared before their eyes, to put it mildly, looking like a pyramid with a very truncated top. She admitted that the very practical shape and strong base were more difficult to break. She didn't really know what to expect, but she was trying to quickly prepare a few plan-like elements, so as not to be left with absolutely nothing, when she noticed a missile rushing straight at them. Her husband's strong arm wrapped around her waist and yanked her out of the car with great force, seconds before the blast obliterated the pampered Cadillac CT5. They landed on hard, packed ground, she had a semi-soft landing only because Kaoru hugged her against his massive chest. She tossed her hair, looking around hastily. It looked like everyone else had jumped out as well, hitting each other here and there. It was amazing how easily they were allowed into the building. It smelled foul of a plan to destroy their quick escape route...and that they actually thought they could scare off Hanayama with that! The latter only snorted as he walked through the wide open door, spat saliva on the floor and snapped his huge neck. The corridors were maze-like, and she was about to suggest some solution to her husband, but as soon as she turned to face him, a door slammed behind them and a wall of thick brick collapsed, firmly secured with bulletproof steel. On the one side, she, inseparable Naito and Sato, as well as Ueda, on the other Kaoru and the rest. Her phone rang in her belt pocket, and she picked it up hastily.
- Are you OK? - she heard her husband's voice.
- All fine. - she replied quickly, looking around. - I could have foreseen that they would want to separate us...
- I guess we'll meet somewhere in the middle. - he grumbled reluctantly. - I love you, Hana.
- I love you too, My Bear. - she whispered warmly. - See you.
She hastily snapped her smartphone back into place to take stock of the situation. He could be right, it actually looked like they wanted to corner them. She glared at her security chief. This one, as usual, a step ahead of her, managed to explore the nearest area and, judging that it was safe, ordered the beginning of the march. The three of them surrounded her so she wouldn't become the first target if anything happened. She still couldn't get used to how cute it was of them, even if that was their division of tasks. They hadn't gone far when they heard a voice coming from somewhere camouflaged speakers.
- Kitty kitty ... baby ... - sounded a woman's laughter. - As I expected from my beloved Shiro Kitsune-san! You knew I was here, right? Oh say yes!
She recognized the blonde-haired assassin whom she had deprived of an eye and the possibility of even approaching the finals of the tournament. That sickening cackle she would recognize anywhere, it was sticking to her ears, echoing. A psychological game? She didn't like those.
- I can smell the rot from a distance. - The black-haired girl answered stubbornly, looking around and listening. - What do you want?
- You know, don't pretend! - said the voice. - I want fox fur!
- If I were you, I'd change the list of Christmas gifts. - Naito interjected.
- Hey, Kitsune-san, teach your worms some culture. Don't interfere in the conversation! - The blonde grumbled gruffly, then added calmly. - I'm bored. Let's play a game...
- What game? - Mrs. Hanayama asked as she made her way down another corridor.
- A game of sacrifice. You have three people with you. How many of them are you willing to sacrifice to get to me?
- Don't listen to her, Hanabi-sama! - Ueda said.
- Listen to me, Hanabi-sama...Listen to me, come to me... - said a slimy voice. - Listen to me, come... Little by little, I'll get rid of those you love so much who don't love you. The bald one who thought you were a goldfish in an ornamental aquarium; a hunk with earrings who never seriously fought you; your "brother" who was never really supportive and still can't accept where you belong. I'll save the hubby who wanted to put you aside again for dessert. I'll cut him into thin slices...
Her blood froze. She had no idea how she knew so much, how long they had been watching them, but this was way too much. She sounded exactly like her that day. Same convincing tone of voice. Like her mother when, after years of humiliation and rejection, she wanted to win her over, just to show her father that she knew better. She couldn't break now. Not right now, not with these people.
- Come to me, Kitsune-san... - tempted the blonde. - I'm only here for you, come on, let's play, just like at your wedding! I will never leave you, I will always love you! Leave the assholes who consider women their property.
Of course she sensed falsehood, even madness, in her voice. She wasn't afraid, but what she said and how it touched a very sensitive chord of Hanabi. The woman was right, Shiro Kitsune hated being objectified, patronized, and this happened many times in the Fujiki clan. Was it enough?
- Hanabi-sama is too strong to fall for that! - Naito said firmly. - The boss chose her for a reason and we are at her side for a reason. Hide your dirty tricks!
An amazingly pleasant, warm feeling seized her heart, hearing such a sincere confession from the head of security for the first time. If not for the difficult situation, she would have shed a few tears of emotion. As if on command, the other two clung closer to her.
- Kitsune-san, let's start the fun. - The blonde giggled. - You probably know 'Alice in Wonderland'? Do you remember how it started?
Hanabi frowned, thinking frantically. She didn't know what that had to do with the situation, but she unearthed all the details of the cartoon she'd been watching with her nephews. The beginning ... the beginning ... Alice had a strange dream that she was chasing a white rabbit*, and then ...
- NAITO, BE CAREFUL! - She screamed with all her might, jumping in his direction and pushing him against the wall.
Before she landed, a hatch opened beneath her feet. Alice fell into the burrow, hearing only:
- HANABI-SAMA!
She landed on something hard, she wasn't sure if she was whole, she must have bruised a lot of places. It buzzed horribly and squeaked in her ears. She opened her eyes with difficulty, rubbing the back of her head, and the first few breaths came just as hard. She couldn't look around, there was darkness around her, only above her head, from the level from which she fell, a glow of light and smoke appeared. A cold shiver ran down her spine at the sight of a group of men rushing to her men, successfully pacifying them. She was about to get up when she heard above her:
- Goodnight, Alice!
She felt a dull blow to her temple, then a hand pressing the wet cloth to her mouth and nose. Chloroform. Again. Before she could think not to inhale the substance, heavy eyelids obscured bright green irises.

He watched as she wiped her face with her hand, spun on her heel, and stormed out of the office, slamming the door behind her. He stood in consternation for a moment. He didn't want any harm to come to her. The last time she had meddled in a larger matter, ended up in the body of a small white fox, Hanayama doubted that "Master Inari" would be so kind this time. Before that, she'd been in the hospital, practically desiccated after donating so much blood to keep him alive. He couldn't lose her and she...threatened with divorce?! He wasn't entirely sure, but she wasn't kidding. At times like this, she was even tougher than usual, truthful to him as much as possible. They had been through so much together, he had so much evidence of her affection and devotion, and two of them regularly snuggled into his body, especially when they couldn't sleep...he loved her so much... He thought putting her in the line of defense of the house would be enough for her to act like a lioness defending her cubs, and she looked devastated to tell him that their babies were gone! He couldn't understand - what does it mean "GONE"? In fact, the last time he left in the morning, came back in the evening, he thought the boys were asleep. He was so tired and busy with urgent matters that he didn't even ask how they were. If not here ... then where are they? He jumped out of his chair, throwing it back, and ran after his wife. She stood in the middle of the living room, obviously unsure of what to do with herself, her arms around her trembling body.
- Where are my sons?! - he murmured hard.
- Alive, healthy, safe. And closely guarded. - she replied in a shaky voice. - You won't find them...
He felt a gentle movement of her arm. She showed him the phone screen with the unsent message. "I can't tell you, I suspect we're being eavesdropped on." She snuggled into him as she always did, except this time his indomitable queen's tears were wetting his purple shirt.
- I know your mother tried to keep your father at home. I...I'm not going to. - she whispered, embracing him tightly. - Whatever I say, you'll go anyway because you feel it's your duty. I understand and respect that. However, I won't let you go alone. Let me follow you.
- Hana, if something happens to you... - He sighed heavily, wrapping his arms around her. - I can't loose you.
- Neither do I you. How can you be sure that if they kill you, I will live? Don't you think I'll be safer by your side? - she asked rhetorically, looking straight into his eyes. - My heart will break if you don't come back. Let me protect you.
He sighed heavily. So different, yet so very similar. She was just as stubborn as he was, if not more so. When she really wanted something, she could get it every time. He stared into the wonderful, light green eyes, unable to tear himself away. She was partly right. He was worried that something would happen to her and the children, but since she had taken care of the boys' safety earlier...
- Get dressed, baby. - he replied conciliatoryly, wiping the tears from her cheeks with his thumbs. - We will show these cocks the class, honor and strength of the Hanayama family.
It must have made her feel better, because she kissed him hastily and actually ran to get changed. She knew exactly what he liked and how it should look like. She stood in front of him in a red shirt, white pants and jacket, tying a short black tie at the neck. The yakuza should take care of the image, and so should his wife, and Hanabi sensed it perfectly. She matched his stride, briskly following beside him as they descended into the underground garage, where their men were already waiting. They looked a bit confused, although Naito and all of Mrs. Hanayama's subordinates, as if they knew this was going to happen, accepted her presence calmly.
- Hanabi-sama, it's really not... - Kizaki began in a caring tone, but was interrupted by a strong, very skilled hook straight to the nose.
He landed on the concrete floor, his face dripping blood, staring at her as if he hadn't understood the message. Hana was definitely not in the mood to stop her from doing anything.
- I already told you something about this! Don't meddle in marital affairs! I'm going to grow old with him, did you think you'd ruin my plans?! - she asked sternly, extending the middle finger of her right hand towards Hanayama's deputy. - SO FUCK YOU!
- Next time, I recommend taking Hanabi-sama a bit more seriously. - Naito turned to him, giving the shocked man's hand.
- Ueda, did you find out where they are? - Hanayama asked.
- It was hard to find them, boss, they are on the very outskirts, not a soul around... - Mitsuteru replied hastily.
He looked at his wife on instinct. She held out to him a phone with a glowing screen and a pink-haired woman dressed in camo cargo pants and a khaki tank top.
- I'll gladly show you the way, Hanayama-san. - Sakura replied.

Nothing has changed throughout their relationship. He was still stubborn, stubborn as a mule, painfully convinced of his own indestructibility, as if he had forgotten that she had saved him at least twice when he was within a hair's breadth of death. She wasn't stupid, she knew that only a solid arsenal of arguments would ultimately convince him. She stiffened for a moment at the grim "go back upstairs," hoping he'd tell her to get going because they had no time to waste. She was wrong.
- You're staying home. - he ordered firmly.
- FUCKED YOU UP?! - she barked at him from behind the desk. - I won't let you go alone! There's no one better than me under you!
- Hanabi-sama... - Naito spoke up.
- I won't let anything happen to you. - he replied, trying to stay calm. - I promised your father...
- I GOT FUCK what you promised him! If you go alone, you will sign our divorce in your own blood, understand?! It's pouring out of my ears that you ignore me every time!
She didn't care that this marital quarrel was watched by a large part of the family, including Kizaki, Naito and Sato. There was no way she would give up. Even if he closed the door on her, she would come out through the window. He knew exactly what he was signing up for when he put the ring on her finger, he should remember that. They promised to be together in good and bad, in sickness and in health... and he was kicking her at a time like this! He gasped as if she'd just fallen out of the sky wearing a pink sock. He stared at her dumbfounded, probably for a moment wondering if he had heard right, and then wondering what to say. She had given him an ultimatum before, but never this serious. No wonder, she herself would never in her life think that she could threaten him like this. It was beyond her comprehension, she didn't want to leave, she loved him, and yet at that particular moment her brain told her it was the only weapon, the ultimate. She acted impulsively, not very thoughtfully, but there was no time to ponder when his life hung in the balance.
- Hanabi-sama, it's unreasonable... - Kizaki began conciliatory.
- It is unwise to meddle in marital matters. - she hissed fiercely, glaring at him angrily. - Stay between us and I'll walk over your dead body.
- Have you gone mad? - Kaoru said uncertainly.
- Yes, it's a fucking blackmail that I'll probably regret terribly, but if you don't want me by your side, at least have the courage to admit it like a real man, Hanayama! - she threw forcefully, slamming her hands on the countertop, which creaked ominously under the weight of the blow. - Regardless of what you decide, I'm going to defend that damn big ass! You are to come back relatively safe and sound! My sons will not grow up without a father!
- You'll stay home with them in case they make it all the way here, Hana.-  he replied, visibly crushing the armrest. - I don't know anyone who...
He fell silent seeing her reaction. She didn't even feel it, but at the dull sound of the command, tears flowed from her eyes. She had to hold herself back so as not to burst into tears.
- You're such a caring father... and haven't noticed that the boys haven't been home for two days... - she whispered.

He ran away in his mind, listening with only one ear, not concentrating too much on what she was saying. He started acting strange the moment he left a certain meeting with Kizaki. She wasn't there at the time, taking advantage of her free time and space at the barbell laden with iron, but she knew they had an appointment. He seemed a bit distracted even when he caught up with her as she was packing more boxes for the move. Although, she had to admit - once he managed to get it together, he didn't let it go until morning, when he slowly began to drift away again. If he was deep in thought, something was bothering him - something big was coming. In truth, she felt it too, there were moments when, going for a walk with Ken and Sora, she felt the characteristic shiver of excitement mixed with a large dose of stress just under her skin. She felt watched, someone was gathering information about them, preparing. She didn't deceive herself that they wouldn't find out about the children, it would be difficult to hide the boys all her life, she had to always have a plan B. Unfortunately, her plan A was not so kind as to share his concerns with her. Instead, he once again sat deep in thought, sipping Wild Turkey, staring out the spacious window. She expected him to open up a bit more in these situations, especially since as the wife of the boss of the clan, she was supposed to know everything. Still, he seemed to be worried that she might get hurt. She didn't know if that made her more happy or upset. She had to prepare for the worst, and that meant it was time to move on with her relationships. The boys were enjoying themselves, their father looking at them rather automatically, so she slipped unnoticed into the bedroom, trying to keep one ear listening. She dialed the number, and after two rings she heard a familiar, warm, quite low voice.
- I have a very important task for you, Tora. You will take care of my greatest treasure. - she said slowly, feeling her heart in her throat. - Defend more than your own life.
- Of course, Banchou. - she heard in response. - Hanabi-sama.
She sighed heavily as she hung up. All that's left to do is overtake Kaoru before he gets into something stupid.
>>><<<
The news he got from his people wasn't funny at all. Someone was gathering strength to strike directly at Shinjuku, at his family. All he could do was meet them before others suffered. Mostly her and the boys. He had no doubts about the motive for the attack - they wanted to wipe out the Fujiki clan at the base, so the main target was him and those closest to him. Someone wanted Hanayama's blood to cease to exist. At that thought, he stroked a fragment of the tattoo on his arm through his shirt. History liked to repeat itself. This time, however, no one in the family could die. The plan was simple - he would go alone and stop all this madness by killing everyone. No matter how many there were, he will not fall until they are dead. Hana noticed his preparations, though he tried not to show much. It's possible that he just rarely went to the office after dinner, otherwise hastily eaten. The boys were obviously asleep, snoring sweetly. He had tied his tie around his neck and was grabbing the doorknob when she finally spoke.
- You're going to them, aren't you? - she murmured sluggishly, undoing her apron. - Don't look like you think I won't know. My hearing is too good not to hear your conversations, it's stronger than me. You know it perfectly well.
- I'll make sure you don't get hurt, I promise, baby. - he replied, kissing her forehead and leaving.
He naively thought she was going to stay where she was, but she hurriedly shoved on the first pair of shoes she could find, then followed him, catching up quickly.
- Kaoru you can't do it, there are too many of them, it's such a big action that you have no idea...
- I don't need to know everything. - He grunted slowly as he walked down the stairs. - That wouldn't be fair.
- Not fair? Can you hear what you're saying? They probably know everything about you, they know at least a few weak points, they probably guess that you'll go alone, just like when you went on the Tomizawa clan to Kobe without anyone knowing! - she exchanged jittery, tucking stubborn strands of loose hair behind her ear. - And you know more or less that there are plenty of guys and there will be a brawl!
- What else do you think I should know? - he asked, opening the door and heading to the desk, where the people closest to them were already waiting.
He gave some hasty instructions, consulting with Kizaki and Naito, who was supposed to keep a hair on Ms. Hanayama's head. The door closed, and she was still standing in the middle of the room, staring blankly at him. Whether she liked it or not, this time he wasn't going to let her put herself at risk. Absolutely. It is true that he was not sure that he would come back... but that's how life happens sometimes, isn't it? She is perfectly aware that this is how THEIR LIFE looks like. He remembered the night his father had left to lead a gang war. Mother tried in every way to stop him, she was ready to die at his hand, just to make him stay. He knew that if the situation called for it, Hanabi would raise the family alone. As befits the wife of the boss.
- Kaoru these... - she said finally. - ...these are the people who wanted me to kill you five years ago.
At those words, the pen fell from his hand. He looked at her shocked, not knowing what to say. Did she mean something so serious? They had enough time to set a trap right under his nose? Wage guerrilla warfare? Minimum five years?
- The same ones who then followed me the guy who threw me into the bar, that bleached bitch whose eye I gouged out, and Kunimatsu. In fact, they practically paid off his entire school to pay me back for not completing the assignment. And that's just the beginning. They had their own interests in the Grand Master's attack, they unleashed assassins on Grandpa, they killed Tatsu. - she spat out more words as if from a machine gun. - They sent a sniper to the concert. From one source, admittedly quite unreliable, I learned that they quietly supported Tokugawa financially when he "resurrected" Musashi. At the same time, they tried to make a deal with you, which eventually worked out. I didn't tell you anything until I had full of evidence.
All eyes turned to her. As usual, she had her spy networks, skillfully put the facts together, knew more than the rest. He guessed that if she had known beforehand, she would have told him. Although... maybe not at all? She knew Hanayama would go to settle the score, so she didn't say a word. Or there were still gaps in her knowledge. They seemed to want both.
- It was on the order of Fujiwara that me and Naito were kidnapped. - she added, her voice breaking more and more. - And I also have some suspicions, based on Song's diary, that he was the one inciting Wu to attack me. He wanted to get rid of our children in the most random way possible before they were born. The guy was involved in at least most of the situations that happened to us, more or less pulling strings, we are a thorn in his side, both of us. He was never clean, but arrogant enough to sweetly fraternize with you while holding a gun to your temple. He's afraid, but he knows how to defeat you.
So it's all just one guy who said he'd be around him? One cheeky prick intruding on his family's life?! The threat was actually greater than he thought. All the more so he had to take certain steps so that absolutely no one would get hurt. No one in the family could be hurt, especially her and the boys as his heirs. No matter how many there were, he would snap the neck of anyone who got in his way. He frowned, looking at her carefully.
- Kaoru, this is not something you can handle alone. Don't give them yourself on a golden platter. - she replied, approaching. - They'll kill you there. Let me...
- Go back upstairs. - he interrupted her. - Everything will be resolved tonight.
- What...?
He saw the horror on her face. She knew exactly what he was going to say to her, but still obviously hoped he wouldn't. He could not. He promised himself that he would not leave her, that he would trust that they would be together always and everywhere... but he could not agree to her putting herself at risk once again. So that the story of the nine tails of his beloved Byakko does not wrap around them once more.

Finding Kobayashi wasn't a problem. It took a lot more of her people's energy to pull him into the office, as she expected anyway. She hadn't mentioned during their last meeting that she had married, especially to the boss of the clan, and it didn't surprise her that he resisted with all his might when he heard that a woman wanted to see him. Katsu and Daichi nearly threw him into the leather chair, gasping and panting through the struggling man with three tiger scars. He wasn't weak, never. Sometimes the mind just couldn't keep up with the body, that's all. He also didn't want to be associated with the yakuza, hence the stubbornness. However, he stopped in an instant, seeing a black-haired woman sitting right next to a muscular giant in front of him. She didn't know who was stronger, her or her husband. He sat with a blank expression to say the least, looking from one to the other. Part of the hair from the top of the head fell to the tip of the nose. He mechanically tried to straighten his shirt coming out of his pants, but it didn't help much.
- Nice to see you again, Torajiro. - she stuttered, trying not to burst out laughing at the scuffle with her security.
- Banchou Soga... Hanayama-san... - he muttered in confusion.
- Honestly, I thought the information reached you a long time ago. As I can see, not really, so... - she said, looking tenderly at Kaoru. - Please meet my husband.
- It's... it's an honor for me... - he stammered, bowing to both of them. - Actually, I expected my Banchou to go high...
- To the point. I have a place in the ranks of the nearest security and I want you to fill it. - she said calmly, crossing her legs.
As expected, he was speechless. He blinked rapidly, straightening up like a string. Apparently he was wondering what to do.
- But...Banchou...you probably know that I run my own business. - he finally began.
- Yes, I know, that's why I propose a deal: you will be my man for special tasks. If I call, you drop everything to hell and go. - she explained. - It's a huge request, but it's no less a task, and my gratitude will be no less.
It'd been a few years since they'd last met, he'd changed visually...but inside he was still her simple-minded schoolmate. For a moment she thought he wanted to say no, but she caught a flicker of interest in his wild, dark eyes. She felt her husband's warm hand. She'd always liked these little reassuring gestures. A cut thumb stroked fair skin as their interlocutor finally leaned back a bit more comfortably, placing his elbows on his rather wide apart knees and smiling, looking warmly in her direction.
- Anything for you, Banchou.
- Then you will be the closest emergency bodyguard for our two sons, Tora. That's what I care about the most. Despite their best efforts, none of my people can get along with them enough to protect them without my presence. - she replied, still looking at him carefully. - I'll just remind you that you owe me your life. I'll be sure to pick it up if you try to pull a dirty trick on me.
- On my honor! If even a hair falls from the heads of your descendants, I will bow under your sword myself, Banchou... Hanabi-sama! - he said forcefully, beating his chest. - Even if I had to die, I will take care of the Young Masters as if they were my own children!
She looked knowingly at her husband. He nodded appreciatively, half-smiling. All that remained was to show him to Naito and the others. She was convinced that the head of security would start to look morbidly at Torajiro's hands, considering his reputation as a thief in the underworld, but she could also be sure that he would take care of the proper "raising" of the new one, so that he would represent the family to which he belongs with dignity. Kobayashi's long-time devotion, she was almost calm about her children's future.
After Torajiro was taken over by her men, they stayed in the office for a while, finishing their tea. Her husband wrapped his arm around her warmly so that she could lay her head undisturbed on his massive chest.
- You are very sure of this man. - he finally grunted.
- I know his family pretty well. After this unpleasant action with the tiger, I had the opportunity to get to know him better. Tora's mother initially thanked me each time for saving her son's life. - she replied, sipping from a delicate cup. - Tora is the eldest, he has younger siblings who have always been crazy about him. He always liked playing with children, he was very caring and good at taking care of little ones. No wonder, since he was the only one helping his mother with the younger ones. I'm pretty sure Ken and Sora will like him.

I want to be Your Koi Fish - Nine Tails
Warning: +18 content, criminal underworld, intercourse, strong language - and so on
Fanfiction based on: "Baki" by Itagaki Keisuke
>41<
As soon as they returned from Okinawa, she used the presence of Aia and Nari to go out on a date with herself for a while. She hadn't done it since the boys were born, concentrating on getting fit and healthy, relaxing on the sunny balcony overlooking the park, which had a lovely fountain that had been replaced long ago after it had jammed a drunken bruiser between its bowls. She reserved going out on the city only for her husband, absorbing his company. She was aware that the time when they had only for each other was over, so as soon as the sons had care and Kaoru had a free moment, the two of them sneaked out to their favorite restaurants or for a walk in the wilderness. They also didn't shy away from their motels or kareoke clubs, definitely not to sing their favorite tunes. They both loved the boys more than life, but they did not want to forget about each other. And since the end of childbirth, she was almost insatiable, which clearly suited her husband. She felt strange - as if she were a jigsaw puzzle that someone was slowly adding to the final puzzle so that she could live to her full potential. As she thought about it, sitting in a comfortable armchair and sipping matcha, the only thing that came to her mind was Kitsune: an incredibly smart, seasoned warrior, who was also a passionate lover and a great mother. That's how Inari created his Foxes, and she was one of them. She had fulfilled her fox destiny, as when she was getting her tails back. The master was right, she remembered less and less from that period, but she was sure that everything had happened, and the thought of the last task and its consequences still made her stomach turn, even though little Fubuki really skillfully used her gift. When she shared her observations with her husband, he looked at her warmly, saying that already at the tournament in the Underground Arena he noticed how she was gaining momentum.
She finished her matcha, threw a light white jacket over her shoulders, and left, clutching the handles of her leather backpack. Neither Kizaki, nor Naito, nor even Arata - none of them could persuade her to wear it everywhere and always. Handbags may have been more feminine and elegant, but the backpack was definitely more practical, and nothing was more important to her in terms of fashion than practicality. Finally, she put the bundle on her back, moving briskly ahead, clicking the heels of her burgundy, lacquered high heels. She was approaching the intersection with the street where she had an appointment with the head of security when she felt someone's presence behind her. She nimbly dodged the incoming blow, bending his arm back so that he couldn't move. She sighed heavily. She's still not quite used to the fact that a yakuza wife, like a respectable husband, is always under fire.
- Let me guess, 'money or life'? - she murmured, leaning in slightly. - Who taught you such disrespect for women?
- The only woman I respect is Banchou* Soga... - he gasped, still trying to pull away.
Her ears rang at the sound of her maiden name. For a split second, she felt like she was back in middle school, standing on a playground with some of her friends, and hearing a very familiar voice saying "Banchou Soga." She yanked the man's arm so that she looked directly into his face. He couldn't be older than her, rather he wanted to look that way, which is why he left a few days' stubble and combed his hair relatively smooth, although some of it preferred to scatter in different directions. He had dark, almost black eyes that stared at her surprisingly wildly from under a bushy, coal-black fringe. There were a few fairly short scars running across the cheek under his left eye, as if a fairly large cat had scratched it years ago. A very distinctive special mark.
-...Torajiro...? - she asked a little uncertainly.
Kobayashi Torajiro, her middle school friend with whom she used to make quite a lot of noise, was now kneeling beside her as a grown man, staring at her with eyes as big as the beads of a Tibetan necklace. Of course she was a model student back then; all she had to do was walk outside the school walls and hang out with her friends around town when she didn't have softball practice. She was never technically a "banchou," but her friends called her that, somewhat as a joke, because she was the only girl who didn't tuck her tail under herself when someone tried to dominate her. Only after graduating from school and going to high school, she solemnly promised her dad that she would keep appearances until the end of her education. It wasn't easy and she bent the deal a bit by assuming the identity of Shiro Kitsune... Torajiro, on the other hand, was one of those boys who fell short in their studies, just like Haga, whom they both eventually knew. It was these two who came up with the "brilliant idea" of the nickname, but Kobayashi became by far the most attached.
>>><<<
They sat side by side in the conference room again, both in leather chairs at the head of a wide table. From the beginning of pregnancy, she stayed close, even in business situations, so that Hanayama would be calm about her well-being and safety, but after giving birth, she stayed, being invaluable support in many situations. Akita's last wish for them to keep their family together still rang in his ears. This time she looked thoughtful, sitting with one leg crossed over the other leg, rhythmically rocking her foot hidden in a patent leather shoe on a thin stiletto heel. Evidently, she was analyzing some problem, staring at a specific point on the shiny countertop, probably only casually listening to what they were saying. And they were talking about her, actually about her personal bodyguards. There was still a hole left by the Immortal Tatsu, which he wanted to fill while there was relative peace. For that, he needed her opinion. He looked at the waiting people, under the command of the reliable Naito, and cleared his throat quite loudly, waking her up from her lethargy. She shook out her raven hair that fell lightly over her shoulders, inhaling air sharply into her lungs. She sat up straighter in the chair, her back tucked into a white single-button jacket. She looked around.
- Hanabi-sama... - Kizaki began gently. - We were wondering about the vacancy in the ranks of your security, left by Tatsu.
- Someone should replace him. - Naito added.
- Tatsu can't be replaced just like that. - Kaoru grumbled reluctantly.
She clearly heard what they were saying, but she was still figuring out what to say in her head. Like not her. He was beginning to worry about this cold calculation. On the other hand, she was clearly learning very quickly to weigh her words if she wanted to get something. She didn't always use it, fortunately. He fondly recalled the times when, like a machine gun, she released everything that lay on her liver, caring what anyone thought of her. She was obviously changing, as if she was maturing, especially since she had returned from her incomprehensible journey to Inari's palace and after giving birth. He also saw changes of a similar type in himself, he finally became a father, he had to think about his whole family. He glanced in her direction. She settled herself more comfortably, resting hands on the armrests, nonchalantly hiding hand under hair, resting head lightly on it.
- Have you heard the name... Kobayashi Torajiro? - she finally asked, as lightly as if they were discussing the color of the new carpet for the conference room.
There was a deathly silence. He hastily searched the people he knew in the underworld, or those who were worth reckoning with. There were personal details given by his wife somewhere, but he couldn't connect them to the person.
- If I'm not mistaken, Hanabi-sama, the man you mentioned is the head of a group of quite clever moneylenders and the owner of a certain bar in the Suginami suburb. - Kizaki replied. - He's doing quite well in business, but I hear he's a thief.
- Correct. Plus, he's a bit of an uncouth savage and a womanizer. - she blurted out without hesitation.
- Why are you asking about him? - Naito interjected.
- I propose a small castling to finally close the Tatsu case. You will not find anyone who will 100% replace him with dignity. Immortal was irreplaceable, it's too high a bar. - she replied. - Everyone from my security, apart from Naito of course, will be promoted a notch higher. There is a gap at the bottom of the hierarchy. And it's much easier to fill it. And Kobayashi has potential that I want to use.
- There's something else, isn't there? - Arata interjected. - You wouldn't stick with him like that if there wasn't a reason, Hanabi-sama.
- Torajiro owes me a huge debt of gratitude, and he's a man proud enough to take it on his chest. - she replied calmly, leaning over and looking at her men. - Bring me Tiger, even on a leash, with a muzzle on his face.
As planned earlier, they began preparations for the move. Slowly enough for everything to be as it should be. On this occasion, they also attempted a small renovation in Akita's house, preparing a room for the boys. In connection with the whole undertaking, Hanabi again and again packed less necessary things into cardboard boxes. It was amazing how much she had to have everything arranged, in specific categories. He watched calmly as she unfolded the paper box again to store the excess pile of clothes inside.
- Honey, what is this debt of gratitude you were talking about? - he asked finally, sitting up on the bed.
It was hard to hide how fascinated he was looking at his wife bending in half, especially in tight-fitting leather pants. She quickly returned to shape after giving birth, he was absolutely not surprised. With her natural ability to gain muscle mass, all he had to do was step aside and give her space to run.
- When we were in middle school, I saved Torajiro's life. - she muttered without even turning around. - We went on a trip to the Zoo, we knew each other then by sight. He hung out with a bunch of morons who thought it was a great idea for "Tora" to say hello to the tiger. At first he laughed too, I don't think he took it seriously...
- Did they get over it? - he asked, pulling her to him and settling her on his lap.
- They picked him up in five and, croaking like a herd of monkeys, threw him over the fence. The teacher fainted when she saw this, the garden workers immediately rushed to the entrance to the enclosure. They were too slow. - She continued, with a slight sigh resting her head on his shoulder. - I jumped in at the last moment, heaved Torajiro onto my back and jumped out with him. The tiger just waved his paw in front of his face, leaving several cuts on his face. He has those scars to this day.
-Then you gave his friends a good beating before the teacher even woke up. - he concluded, embracing her waist.
- I see we know each other too well! - she laughed. - Yeah... As far as I know, they didn't pull a similar trick, especially since, apart from being grounded in student rights, they got severe detentions from their parents. Dad wasn't happy either. I mean, you know, he was glad I saved my friend, but according to him, it was too risky, despite the skills I was taught from a young age.
He thought about it, trying to replay the event in his mind. What could it have looked like? How did Hanabi manage to get the boy over the fence? Since she was able to do it as a little girl, training in the family dojo must have been very hard, and Wu Song was not leaving a dry thread on her. It's no wonder that some habits remained in her, such as taking care of physical strength or stretching in the morning.
- Now that I think about it, he might have been right. The Miyamoto family has been hiding for many years, the last thing we want is excessive attention to this name. I suspect that's why he didn't show up for the Underground Arena tournament.
He buried face in her dark hair, smelling the intoxicating scent of the yuzu. He felt an urgent need to be as close as possible. He absorbed her company as if she was about to dissolve once again in a sea of cherry petals. For some reason, that storm of pink and white still flashed before his eyes. He kissed her cheek, running down to her soft lips, then lower and lower. The white jacket was left on the rack by the entrance, as was his own, she had a tight, strapless blouse underneath. Thanks to this, he easily showered kisses on the pale collarbones. She sighed, wrapping her arms around his neck as the children's wails reached their ears. Reluctantly, she released herself from the embrace.
- I'll look at them, give me a minute. - she murmured with a slight smile.
He watched her disappear, and soon after he heard a humming teddy bear, which she personally carefully selected, and the boys idolized above all other toys. It emitted from the player placed in the plush tummy all kinds of murmurs and noises, which had long been successful in calming the boys when they were tormented by bad dreams at night. They both saw no reason to wake them, unless a reliable companion was failing. He loosened his tie, finally taking it off and tossing it casually on the locker. He'll sort it out later. Meanwhile, she appeared. She leaned nonchalantly against the doorframe, unbuttoning her leather pants. They clicked slightly, bent back by tiny fingers. She locked the room while he unbuttoned his shirt and pulled his wife to him to sit on his lap. Few things excited him more than a juicy kiss with Hanabi, combined with the possibility of tightening his fingers on her steel buttocks, hidden for a while in leather pants.

He was as skeptical about the trip as she was, but in the end they both agreed that the school inheritance issue was settled, so they could bury the hatchet. Not long after visiting his father-in-law, they finally took the boys to the only great-grandfather they had left, and he was wild with joy at the sight of more great-grandchildren. Hanabi even had to shoo him away so that he wouldn't get too caught up in trying to assess their potential. So far, both have passed the traditional test of the Fujiki clan - on the third day after birth, one of the family men gave the toddler a finger to make him curl his fist on it. The infant's strength was tested. Kaoru reportedly almost broke Akita's grandfather's finger. To test Ken and Sora, none other than Kizaki and Naito stepped forward. Both judged that the boys were as powerful as their father. It was hard not to believe hearing the creaking of the bones and seeing the subsequent bruises from the crush. However, it seemed that it was the elder son who inherited Hanayama's potential, which definitely fascinated Shigeru. No less, of course, as predicted by Fubuki Sora's fencing and scientific talent, which still had time to reveal itself.
A year later, they decided to organize the boys' first family birthday. The twins developed very quickly, which only seemingly relieved the parents. Their increasing mobility meant that both he and his wife had eyes in the back of their heads, making sure that no one was running away. They relaxed a bit when, after eating the birthday cake, the little birthday boys were taken over by the older cousins, taking them to the inner garden. He watched his sons, still clumsily tottering, bravely facing the ball rolled by the rest of the children, sipping green tea. He was beginning to greatly appreciate the size of the Miyamoto family. It was overwhelming at times, but the positives are hard to overlook. Of course, all three of Mrs. Hanayama's sisters appeared, as well as Shinogi Kureha, guarding the sleeping girl in a scarf tied around his chest.
- Exactly the development I expected from your children, Little Fox. - murmured old Soga appreciatively. - Kaoru's genes only fuel the potential.
- Dad, stop looking at them as pieces of meat. - Goro admonished him.
- If anything, the best cuts of meat in the premium section, my son! - He huffed a sneer, then added. - Don't make me such a monster either. Ken and Sora's abilities are simply not to be missed! I admit it with difficulty, none of our children at this age walked so fast and efficiently! They still wobble, but still have time to learn.
- Just to be clear. We're not going to rush anything. - Hanabi interjected. - Let them develop at their own pace.
- And rightly so, my child! - Grandpa clapped. - Just remember, I'd love to have them join our school for their second birthday.
- We still need to discuss this. - Hanayama said, setting his cup down. - We haven't decided anything about martial arts.
Shigeru's eyelid twitched visibly. It wasn't going his way, but it wasn't his idea that was decisive about the twins. Father and mother always had the last word, so he let go of those nervous ticks on his grandfather's face. Hanabi also watched closely, but rather triumphantly that there was no way they would be outvoted. She finished eating another piece of fruit cake, chewing each bite thoroughly. The boys might have had the potential to study at Miyamoto's school, but Kaoru wasn't a fan of martial arts either, and Hana didn't particularly brag about it. He paid more attention to the children. One of the sweet donuts fell on its bum, looked around, then started crawling briskly towards them. The mafioso was not a bit surprised that Sora efficiently climbed onto the wooden platform and slipped through the wide open door to cuddle up with Mrs. Hanayama. She smiled warmly, stroking his growing, dark hair. However similar, they clearly favored one parent each. Sora - mother, Ken - father. If both of them were within range and something unfortunate happened, they would reach out to their favs with plump hands. Ken, as soon as he noticed that his younger brother wasn't around, made a determined face and tottered unsteadily in their direction. He fell down twice, but he always sat down, heaved his side slowly, then kept walking until he leaned on Kaoru's thigh. Hanayama took the baby under his armpits to sit him on his father's lap.

I want to be Your Koi Fish - Nine Tails

Fanfiction based on: "Baki" by Itagaki Keisuke
>39<
She felt emaciated, sore, and at the same time strangely bloated as her body once again spewed excess blood. A very strange feeling, but she agreed with the sisters: like a prolonged, slightly heavier than normal period. She remembered the clear information from the doctor that it MUST last this long, if it ended earlier, she was to appear in the office as soon as possible. He also recommended that, for the safety of her organs and pelvic floor, they abstain from intercourse until she recovered. In truth, she openly admitted to her husband: she had no strength, her processing powers ended with grooming the boys, keeping the apartment relatively clean (fortunately, she had a machine for vacuuming and mopping the floors), and her imagination on subsequent meals, which would also be nourishing, quick and easy to eat with one hand. If she ate anything at all. As soon as her head touched the pillow, she fell asleep like a baby, exhausted from the day. It was stupid to admit that she wasn't getting enough of something as basic as eating or getting enough sleep, even though she'd promised to tell. She couldn't, knowing that such was the standard of a woman's duties. She would have wondered for a long time what happened to this feminist and cut Hanabi after giving birth, if Kaoru hadn't pinned her to ... the tiles on the wall in the bathroom. It was enough for him to look directly into her eyes and she would say absolutely everything, as if from notes. She couldn't hide from him. Whatever he asked, he found out, just like that. She realized that it had been like this from the very beginning, from the day she met him - one look, one touch, and she would let him do whatever he wanted, introduced herself to her would-be victim instead of running away, wishing him luck in the life he was given.
In the end, she almost forgot about the otherwise very pleasant conversation in the shower. The memory hit her between the eyes when, in the morning, dragging herself out of bed with difficulty, she noticed that two young girls, maybe a little younger than herself, in white aprons were bustling around their kitchen. She recognized faces, so they must have passed by at least twice, and they humbly bowed to her, greeting her with the title "Mistress Hanayama." Eyeing them a bit suspiciously, she went to fetch the boys to feed them. Two adorable donuts were kicking their legs and arms uncoordinated, waiting for a hug. She expertly pulled them both out, then sat down in the maroon armchair, placing them on a comfortable pillow, drawing them close to her. She unbuttoned her nursing blouse, and the boys didn't need to be told twice. Instinctively, they latched on to their mother's breasts, sensing the scent of milk. It took a while to decide on names, but eventually they found the right one. The firstborn was given the name Ken*, thus cultivating the tradition of the Hanayama family of naming successors after the first letter of the father's name. The younger they named Sora**. She recognized them by a little thing - the older one had a slightly different nose, a little wider, not so upturned, inheriting it from Kaoru. She woke up slowly, looking at her sons with a blissful feeling, when out of the corner of her eye she noticed a figure standing in the doorway. He had dressed in his immortal white trousers and purple shirt, and was leaning carelessly against the door frame. She smiled and he came over to kneel beside them and kiss her forehead, gently combing the dark tuft on Sora's head.
- Honey, who are the girls in the kitchen? - she asked quietly.
- You mentioned you were having a hard time, so I got help. - he explained calmly. - These are workers from Akita's house, there is a little less to do there now. They will help you around the house and with the boys so you have time for yourself. By the way... how about moving in a while?
- I thought you preferred the big city life. - she murmured with a cunning smile. - Will it just look good?
In response, he only nodded, smiling blissfully, looking at his sons slowly finishing their meal. Maybe it was actually a good idea? After all... it's his mother's family home. Hanabi did not like traditional houses, but the boys would have more space than in a spacious, but quite cramped apartment for a married couple with two small children. Not to mention the huge garden!
Probably for the first time since the birth of the twins, they ate so peacefully. The maids from Akita's house took care of the puppies, as she later found out: Aiya*** and Nari****. Both are very gentle with children, playing with enthusiasm. Intuition told her that she could easily entrust them with some of the duties. She had the opportunity to organize time for rest, sleep and return to the form she missed more and more.
Before they decided to visit anyone with the boys, their photos soared to the sisters and father. Grandfather Goro was bursting with pride, looking forward to meeting his next grandchildren. When he saw them, he couldn't get over how unlike their mother they were. All they got from her were striking green eyes. They didn't become pastel bright, so Hanabi breathed a sigh of relief, it looked like her father did too. In her line, Kitsune blood had temporarily stopped, there was a high probability, bordering on certainty, that the boys were not carriers. Though, recalling Fubuki's case, it wasn't worth assuming 100%. Grandfather Shigeru also had irises slightly lighter than the rest of the family. She decided to keep an eye on them and in the meantime take a breather, watching them peacefully fall asleep in their grandfather's arms. Hana glanced at the package she had brought with her. Oblong, wrapped in strong, opaque cotton.
- You want to give them back, don't you? - Soga asked calmly. - Why?
- Because I don't need them, Dad. Besides, they remind me too much of Okinawa. - she sighed heavily. - Will you take them to Grandpa?
- Honey, I'll leave them here in case you think they'll come in handy. I advised your sisters to do the same. Ayame and Shizuka, despite dissociating themselves from Musashi's will at all, keep their katanas deeply hidden. - Father sighed. - Mine are waiting for the right moment too. If you don't want to look at them, they'll wait safe. They belong to you anyway.
- Yes, I know, I know... - She replied with a smile. - Thanks dad.
- By the way, he won't tell you, but he's waiting for you at home. - Goro laughed. - Shigeru really wants to meet his great-grandchildren.
