The Weekend
“So, what were you up to this weekend?”
The sound of gunshots ringing off the walls drowned out the sound of life, glass shattering as car alarms blaring, the scent was fresh.. Lights flickering hanging down from the ceiling, the painted lines for the parking lots lapped over with the lovely look of death. Heavenly booming screams echoed forth, before they were silenced for all eternity.
“Not much. Mostly cleaning.”
A man, bald in a suit, ran towards the elevator on the opposite side. Other men with pistols whipped up past the cars and stood in the way between him and the darkness in front of them–two. Shots fired, slamming into something unknown–an ax flying through the darkness as the light flickered, giving them a glimpse of its teeth. It embedded itself in the man on the left lower leg, digging deep into the flesh. The man fell backwards, screaming glorious symphonies as the gun would drop to the floor–he’d open his eyes, his breathing hitching as he’d hear the sound of metal–a chain. He’d look over to his partner, about to scream for help–before he was dragged off into the darkness.
“Ehhh, it’s the weekend–you should go out more. Party or something, you’re young, y’know? You have to live a little.”
The man on the right, wearing a brown trench coat and suit, short hair, harness on and pistol drawn–his lip would quiver as the sound of nothing drowned everything out. He’d begin backing up towards the elevator, the hanging light in the darkness began to flicker again–and he’d see the figure. No eyes, teeth, its arms were warped, the size off as it stood there. Sweat began to pour down his face, the neck of his partner entirely shaved off from his body. The head held in its grasp. He pulled the trigger as many times as he possibly could, the sensation of the trigger the only thing on his mind.
“I prefer to stay at home. It’s more comfortable.”
The man opened his eyes, unable to scream from the sheer shock. His arms shot through, weapons piercing into his shoulders on either side as they pierced into the wall beside the elevator. Unable to lift his arms, he could simply look in front of him as he looked at the elevator door–it was too late, his boss had managed to escape. He thought about his wife. He had to try and get back to them. “I have a dau-”
It slammed an arrow into his head, pressing it deeper in as the words stopped leaving his mouth–his tongue slacking as he died. It looked at the elevator doors, gripping at the sides of it and pushing it open, before jumping into the open shaft.
“You aren’t ever going to get a girlfriend that way-or boyfriend, if you swing that way/”
The boss sighed in relief, the elevator moving towards the bottom floor, once he got there the police and other agents would secure him, removing him from this nightmarish situation he was in. How was it even possible for one thing to kill every bit of protection he had hired? Was it a spy from another country? A super soldier? Alas, it didn’t matter anymore. He was safe.
“I guess not”
The elevator came to a screeching halt, sparks flying from the top as it’d cease entirely–knocking him onto the ground and bashing his head, blood pouring. He rubbed his head, looking up above him as a saw was running through the top of the elevator, cutting it open. The lights flickering. He began to crawl, trying to get to the buttons, to call for emergency help, to open the doors on the floor he was on. The ceiling opened up, revealing the skull. What had been after him. It landed beside him as he reached for the button, the nerves connected to his hand ceased working–huh? His hand wiggled, he looked at it, separate from his body, in front of his face. He turned his head, going to speak.
“Well, you done on that order?”
As the elevator began to open, local law enforcement would shout as they raised their firearms, waiting to unload on whatever was going on. The doors skittered open, as if unsure if it should, and as it opened–the body of the boss layed there, pinned up to the wall. His hand on the ground, and him hung up by wires–and the perpetrator nowhere in sight.
“Yeah, order complete. Please enjoy your meal”
It would say to a customer, handing them their drink and breakfast, smiling at them sweetly.
“Please come again.”

My favourite time to write is like in the middle of the night. But like, 11pm-3am kind of middle of the night. And writing takes me forever so this really limits the amount of time I really have LMAO
