WHY YOU SHOULD READ MY DEAR DETECTIVE: MITSUKO'S CASE FILES

First and foremost, it's beautiful art style! It's so cute and chic, just like Mitsuko, the pretty detective! The manga's art style is so fitting with the plot, refreshing and charming. It really brings out the beauty of Japan during the turbulent 1930's.

Next, is the AMAZING plot! Unlike other detective stories, like Sherlock Holmes, it isn't so rigid when it comes to serious and mystery topics. Rather than focusing on solving the cases, Mitsuko's case files focuses more on the emotional connotations in the story. But that doesn't mean it isn't thrilling and mysterious! Though it focuses more on the daily aspects of human life, making it more relatable and genuine. Not to mention, the way the author researches about the Showa era and inserts details in each chapter makes it more authentic! Just look at some of its references!

But most especially, read it for the characters. First of all, Mitsuko or Mimi, as Saku calls her, is a brilliant and empathetic detective. Though her society admonishes her ability of being a detective for simply being a woman, she did not waver and continued to pursue her passion. Unlike other detectives who rely on their superhuman intellectual prowess, Mitsuko feels more realistic and empowering. She is not like other FLs who always rely on MLs too, because she has her own values and character. All of which makes her so likeable!<3

Saku, the ML, is a Uni student who works along with Mitsuko solving the cases. He provides the fresh perspective and the cheerful atmosphere in each chapter. But that doesn't mean that his character has no depth! His genuine kindness makes you like him even more.

I would like to go on more about it but just simply read it! That's all! You won't regret it!!! Please read this gem! 🙏✨🎀

BEST ROMANCE MANGA in my opinion

I read a lot of manga, like a lot. But out of all romance manga that I've read, these titles are some of my recommendations! In no particular order <3

First on my list is my favorite: Ouran High School Host Club

It's all what I want in a manga: classic and funny! I love that the FL, Haruhi, is not cringe and pick me. I love the rest of the characters. This will always stay in my heart <3

Next, VEIL!!! I don't know how is this manga so underrated but at the same time so famous??!! Like I see it everywhere in Pinterest or Tumblr but I feel like no one reads it! This manga is more of a magazine than a typical story. It's so fashionable and the chemistry between the two are so good! Please read this!

MY FAVORITE AT THE MOMENT! omg it's so underrated and it's so good!!! Like??!! Age gap but it's acceptable! The premise of the plot is dumb but?!! It's interesting?! Please read this 🙏🙏🙏 The tension is 😳!!!

I swear the art style is INSANE! I love it, it's so pretty...The plot is good too! I've read the light novel too and I liked it. She fell first, he fell harder trope!!
