Dude when my social battery runs out there’s like no warning. I don’t get the 20% warnings it’s just I’ll be enjoying my time and then all of a sudden if one more word is spoken I’m going to kill myself and everyone around me.
I am a solo indie dev trying to overcome my anxiety and actually let people know my game exists. It is a cute physics based game where you are the level.
I love making this game with passion and I am so excited to share it with the world, but somehow I need to let the world know. Unfortunately the way steam works is the more wishlists the more visibility, so if you are interested it is super appreciated :)

Found an older doodle of merfolk au Yusuf and decided to tweak it a bit and color him in !! as well as throw on a better head doodle
Yusuf gives me horse energy as well as the energy of someone with the metabolism of a black hole (or shaggy from scooby doo yk) so I really wanted to make him a Syngnathiforme of some sort (pipefish, seahorses, sea dragons, etc). I think it also matches him with the role of being a really competent assassin leader that treats his recruits like family, since seadragon fathers are the ones who care for the rest of the brood while developing
How goes the early mermay? Any more fishies swimming in your brain?
Sorry for the late reply on this one, but kept working on this on n off for a few months and finally got this done ! Might as well submit this for this ask :))
I’m not doing mermay formally, but I love this au in general so it’s something I’m for sure doing year round at my own leisure.
Basim is a honeycomb moray eel in this au!! Here’s some notes
He has a pharyngeal jaw kinda of positioned and ‘splayed’ at the corners of his inner throat
Basim’s skin (especially at his mer-half) is really smooth to the touch thanks to being covered in protective mucus
He collects valuable stuff he finds for himself, especially the shinier items that may fall off fancy yachts or cruises
Basim prefers being active at night (both because moray eels are nocturnal, and that Basim sleeps better when it’s light out due to frequent nightmares)
Moray eels, unlike most fish, don’t have covers over their gill slits, which means they have to pump water manually through their mouths to get oxygen flowing. Basim has these slits on his neck and sides
