I hope this isn't a weird thing to admit, but you were my inspiration to start writing again, and I'm eternally grateful to you for that. Thank you so much for interacting with me so often; you've made me feel very welcome in the KK fandom (as well as the Silverusso "fandom" LOL)

Note, I'm so sorry this is late! I've been very busy recently with work and moving out, but I really wanted to make something worthwhile, so I didn't want to rush either. I have another piece I'm working on for you, but knowing me it'll take like a month to finish and I didn't want you to think that your Secret Santa just forgot! So I'm posting what I do have finished right now.

Daniel LaRusso’s canon birthday is December 18, 1966 which makes him a Sagittarius. Do you have any headcanons for when Terry’s birthday is? I know people like to see him as a Gemini because he’s two faced, or even an Aquarius, lol. Kreese gives me stubborn earth vibes so I’m thinking Taurus XD

Personally, as a Gemini, I can’t see Silver as one because I bear no resemblance to him. Aquarius for sure; I’m not into the signs, so I had to look up the traits of an Aquarius, but Silver fit the traits I was shown perfectly. Along with that, he strikes me as a Winter baby. January 28th.

Kreese I see more as a Scorpio. From what I’ve seen, they’re moody and have trust issues. Pretty defining for Kreese. He also strikes me as a Fall baby, so. November 3rd. Hey, his birthday which I made up just now is coming soon! I Fucking hate Fall

About Daniel’s age—isn’t the All Valley up to age 18, or 18 and Under? Then Daniel couldn’t have been 19 in KK3, unless he turned 19 AFTER the All Valley. Do you know if you had to be 18 to lease a building in 1985 in California? Maybe it varies from state to state? (I’m not American!) I still firmly believe he was, like you said, meant to be turning 16 in the birthday scene in KK1, what with him still learning to drive—and Johnny is 18 and a senior. But Daniel only turns 16 in KK1 only if the other two movies weren’t made. But as they were…I personally believe he turns 18 in KK1, and is still 18 in the entirety of KK3. Speaking of which, I believe Terry is 15ish years older than him, and Kreese 5 years older than Terry. But in fandom land they can be whatever 😉

It DOES differ by state, but in the modern California, you need to be 18 to buy a lease. I can promise you I didn't just assume that. However, 1985 California? No idea. I don't see why it would be any younger, but I won't write it off.

I don't use the driver's license thing as proof of age because my entire life I've been surrounded by people who didn't learn to drive until they were over 18. But it was common in the 80's to get your license at 16 (still, again, they didn't change that much of the script. I feel like I have to blow stuff off? Like, yeah, it was more common to get your license at 16, but that's not proof at all that that's what he did.)

As for the All-Valley, once again, he was meant to be 16 in KK1, and that's the turning point of the movie so they couldn't just cut it. They could have made it not "Under 18", though. Something I didn't consider is that the All-Valley in KK3 took place before Daniel's birthday--which is possible (I think. I don't remember when the All-Valley is in KK3. In KK1 it's December 20th, we know this because the poster is shown to us, but I don't think we see the poster in KK3, so I don't know). I kind of prefer this idea, because that means that Daniel's lack of a birthday celebration is due to the movie ending before his birthday. And it also means that I don't have to consider Daniel lying about his age to get in. But also, do you not think it possible for Silver to have made it so Daniel got in no matter what? He forced Daniel to enter, it's not like he would let Daniel's age stop him from competing after he's gotten so far. And one more possibility; maybe they don't care about his age because he's the champion. Throw out the meddling Silver theory, throw out the lying Daniel theory, maybe they requested he come back despite his age simply because he's the champion and the champion needs to be bested.

(I also want to say, I know that the age to buy a lease in California in 1985 could be different, but I'm having a very hard time believing that you could purchase a lease at any age below 18. You're not a legal adult yet and you're buying a building? There's no way.)

Needless to say there's a lot of theorizing. As for the Terry and Kreese age ideas, I always felt like Terry was around 33 and Kreese was around 35. I figured Kreese was older, but not by a lot. Your idea is interesting.

I've actually been meaning to talk about Daniel's age but haven't really had good reason to, so.

Daniel was SUPPOSED to be 16 in KK1. In the original script he very clearly is. Even Ralph Macchio still thinks he turned 16 (at least in his auto biography he did). But this fact is annulled due to Daniel buying a lease all on his lonesome in KK3. There are plenty of little things I can use, such as the fact that he was a high-school senior, and seniors are typically not 15 going 16. "But what if Daniel skipped a grade?" Mr. "I'm not going to college because it would be boring" skipped a grade? Fat chance. If he was super smart, that would have been explicit--at least somewhat. However this is more nitpicky proof, so I'll continue with the lease thing. That one can't really be argued. If you want to say that he turned 17 in KK1, then he wouldn't be 18 by the time he buys the lease in KK3. The timeline comes into play here as well.

Daniel has his birthday before the KK1 All-Valley, which happens around the same time every year. KK2 time skips 6 months after KK1 (because Daniel just got back from prom, so it must be around June, end of the school year), and KK3 takes place right after they get back from Okinawa. It can be ASSUMED that they got back some time in August because Daniel is being rushed into going to college--it must be around time for applications. Or you can just say that it was a summer trip. If you want to say that he turned 17 in KK1, then he's still 17 by the time he buys the lease in KK3, which is illegal. (I'm ignoring his canon birthday here simply because I don't want anyone to write this off because Oh he's only saying this because of the birthday thing! No, I'm going off of the notes that I took while watching the movies.) Daniel's birthday is sometime after October, because in KK1 the Halloween scene is before his birthday, but before December 20th, because he had his birthday before the All-Valley. Therefore, he would have gone from 17 to 18 way after he purchased the lease--which you cannot do. You have to be a legal adult to do so. And so, it is my theory that Daniel turned 18 in KK1 and is 19 before the All-Valley in KK3 (no second on-screen birthday celebration for him I guess).

Short form, Daniel was SUPPOSED to turn 16, but due to the nature of things done in the following films, he has to have turned 18.

If I remember other details that I can use to further this then I'll add them. But, yeah, Daniel goes from 17-19 throughout the 3 movies. There's stuff that he simply couldn't have done if he were to be any younger.

As I worked on my charcoal pieces (iykyk) I started watching Danny Phantom again. I was super into it when I was young, maybe 9, then I got back into it at 14, funnily enough the same age as Danny himself, and then I forgot about it for a while. Well, I'm back on it. I was doing fine until I had an overwhelming urge to draw Vlad that wouldn't go away as much as I ignored it. So I stopped everything and did some screencap redraws. I don't like these all that much but that's fine. It's a fucking kids' cartoon lol. What am I supposed to do about it. Anyway I am now obsessed with two pieces of media where the main character is named Daniel and one of the villains is a dapper billionaire with a ponytail. REAL MEN WEAR PONYTAILS IS RIGHT!

If I were Danny I would have folded immediately. Of course that's probably one of the many reasons as to why I'd make a bad superhero

Daniel had often been called “the Little Red Riding Hood” to Terry’s Wolf. Would you ever draw something like that, especially for Halloween?

Oh my god. Absolutely. I actually want to thank you vehemently for reminding me of this, because I’ve been trying to find something to spend my time drawing. I think this may be my next endeavor.

Drawing requests and the like are very helpful for me because I can rarely come up with ideas (which is why I don’t actually draw as much as I’d like to), so thank you again!

I am currently in the process of becoming reacquainted with the charcoal medium and am hoping to be able to create some TKK pieces on newsprint without ripping holes in the paper (because I am very harsh with my tools and my most recent piece has at least 5 tears that cannot be mended). As I tend to my skills with bated breath, I share an old piece from my sketchbook that I have never quite been able to surpass. Did I mention that Whiplash is my favorite standalone movie and that I have it on DVD and watch it in black and white when I am feeling hopelessly depressed? Okay, but what are Johnny and Kreese’s best and worst outfits?

THIS IS THE QUESTION I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.

Johnny I'm not really sure. Maybe the red jacket outfit from his first scene?

Although I don't think he actually wore this jacket in this scene...? Saw some autographs under it, so maybe it's just a released photo.

I'm gonna be so honest right now, don't smite me, I really don't care for Johnny. I don't know if I've said it before, but he occupies such a small space in my brain in comparison to most of the other characters. I don't pay much attention to him. But I think, looking through scenes, that his worst is this one

I like it, hell. It's just his least unique outfit, you know? Johnny's got solid outfits. I'll admit that much.

Kreese's is so easily this one

This outfit was my awakening you have to understand. I didn't give a shit about Kreese until he came strolling out wearing this. It fundamentally changed me. However,

I love, love, love this one, too. Especially because I really, really like how he looks with the scruff, it suits him so well. And this look just so happened to reinvigorate my love of Kreese that I had hidden away because I didn't want to accept it. So there's that.

Worst Kreese outfit?

None. Lol. Not to be a cop-out but, like, he has five outfits. His black sleeveless gi, the bomber jacket/turtleneck combo, the puff vest, no clothes, and another black gi (with sleeves). Kreese has the best outfits because it's two of the same shit, two personal, and naked. Who can compare with that, quite frankly?

Like it's ugly as an idea but I'll admit Silver pulls it off. He's the only person that could, though. Although since it's Silver even if his outfit looks bad you can always find an undeniably beautiful snapshot from that scene anyway. I'm not at the point yet where I can pick these shots out but like, there are people that are. Maybe I'm just biased because I think he's hot no matter what 🤷‍♂️
