"Do" is used with plural subjects and the pronouns "I," "you," "we," and "they." Example: "Do you like pizza?" "Does" is used with singular subjects and the pronouns "he," "she," and "it." Example: "Does she play the guitar?" "Did" is used in past tense questions and negative statements for all subjects. Example: "Did you go to the party?" (question) and "He did not finish his homework." (negative statement) These auxiliary verbs help to clarify the tense and subject of a sentence and are commonly used in everyday conversations and written English.
Complete by fill in the blanks given with ‘Do’ or ‘Does’.
Read the following sentences. Tick ( √ ) if ‘did’ is used correctly cross (X) if did is wrongly used.

Adding Dimes and Pennies

To add dimes and pennies together, follow these steps. First, determine the quantity of dimes and pennies you have. Multiply the number of dimes by 10 to get their total value in cents. Then, add the total value of the dimes to the number of pennies you have. The sum of the two will give you the total value in cents. For example, if you have 3 dimes and 25 pennies, multiply 3 by 10 to get 30 cents. Then, add 30 cents to 25 cents to get a total of 55 cents. Remember to convert the final result back into the appropriate currency format if necessary. This is a great activity to help students learn and practice how to add pennies, nickels, and dimes. These worksheets include: Find the value of each set of coins. Complete the place value chart to match. Write the addition sentence to add the value of the dimes and the value of the pennies.
