Just thinking about how my entire primary school was convinced that a house across the street was haunted.
This was a legend for all my primary years - older siblings would tell younger (who would then inform their own friends with newfound Knowledge Of The Elders), new kids would be looped in ASAP, and so many poor teachers on yard duty suffered kids telling them about it (we ignored their “reasonable” explanations, naturally).
I distinctly remember stakeouts happening along the fence line at recess and someone would convince the whole group they saw a curtain move. Because of course the place is full of ghosts if the curtain moves!
Also, this house was two doors down from the best milk bar in town, but if you wanted to get your sausage roll/40c lollybag/sunnyboy fix you stayed on the school side of the street until the very last moment. Because scary house.
I asked for drawing prompts. My friend said butts on things that don't normally have butts. So I drew a fancy cigarette butt hat for this stylish young lady.
I don’t share much of my work on this ole tumblrino these days, but I am still making.
These are some sweet miniatures of beloved kitties I made recently as a gift 💙🐈⬛
They’re pretty tiny, only 3-4 cms big. First time making anything like this, so I was working out the modelling (no joins, all pulled and formed from one little lump of clay) and decoration as I went along. Had to guesstimate the pink and green-yellow colours while mixing stains and medium together as I’m that madman ceramicist who doesn’t test glazes first :):):) …but it worked out so yay! :):):)
My dudes, the bot invasion has gotten so bad that if you follow me and have an empty blog I’m now automatically assuming you’re a dodgy bot. I’m basically reporting every new follower as spam and blocking atm.
If you’re a tumblr newbie PLEASE reblog something, anything! Distinguish yourself from the bot invasion!
This clothespin was clipped on a little snack my grandma packed me for my flight back home from France. She used to be a physics and chemistry teacher and her students wrote some of her frequently used expressions and quotes on clothespins that they clipped onto assignments, lab coats, etc. Apparently a lot of things were, according to her, essential! 😂
Only good thing about Christmas time is I get to hear carol of the bells all the time but the bad part is I have to act normal like that song doesn’t go hard as fuck
