Different Sides Of You Chapter 1 - The Boy

[Thriller-Slow Burn Romance] WARNING This series contains the following: Graphic Violence Suicidal Thoughts/Attempts Violent Language Torture Proceed With Caution/Read At Your Own Risk

The lab was pungent — metal, chemicals, blood.

Next to the corner of a room, a boy not more than fifteen years old sat in worn-out once-white attire with dried blood on them.

A collar wrapped tightly around his neck, a black one. A bomb? A gag? No, it couldn't be. could it?

The flickering, struggling lights did not reach as far as the back wall, where the boy leaned against it.

Chains rattled with each shallow breath he breathed, his wrists tied high above his head, the biting cold steel into his skin.

A girl was standing stock-still at the doorway, her breathing catching. She had not intended to stumble upon this location, had not intended to discover him.

He slowly raised his head.

"Hm.? A guest.?" In a voice low and smooth but inflected with something deadly. "I have never had a visitor before. Oh.! Do forgive the disarray."

She swallowed, grasping the doorframe. "A-Are you all right?" she breathed.

His smile increased. "Do I seem all right?" He laughed, his head tilted. His white hair shifted with the movement, revealing bruises along the length of his face.

"You're stupid or courageous to be wondering," he said.

She took a cautious step closer. His eyes went dark.

"Ah, ah," he threatened, tugging on the chains that bound him. "You shouldn't be so close. I could easily break your pretty little neck."

She leaped back.

His laughter was deep, sneering. "Oh?" He regarded her, interested. "You're afraid of me, aren't you?"

She remained silent.

His hands curved and uncurled, the cuffs digging deeper into his wrists. "Smart girl," he gasped.

"You're in trouble." And then, lower, almost wickedly, "I could kill you before you'd even scream."

She shivered. But then her eyes darted to his wounds—deep gashes, bruising, the sadistic little markings of whatever had been done to him.

"Do you need help.? " she breathed.

His smirk faltered for an instant before it came back, harder than ever. "Help?" He leaned as far forward as his restraints would allow. "Darling, I'm the thing people need help getting away from."

These are some new guys, LOOK I DREW LEGS AND FEET, *ahem* sooo basically they are pop idols, in a group called RΞVIVE. These peeps are going in my webcomic! PLS IF YOU HAVE SUGGESTIONS FOR THE TITLE PLEASE SHARE (Im begging :sob:) At first it was going to be "All Eyes On Me" or something like that, but HALP. Sooo... its basically about one of em' (not saying who) struggles with a heart disease, and emotional problems about the past, but doesn't wanna bring the group down. So he just acts alright. so ye.... that's all I got for now.... um... hehe...?

MEET THE CIRCUS!

Soooooo, I wanted to try out a new artstyle, (Cute/creepy!!!!!!!) And I LOVE THESE SQUISHIES!!! I'm trying to make a new horror/comedy story, for those who like comedy and less horror, soo.... (I WOULD make this a webcomic, buuut..... I suck a drawing diff positions.... and I'm broke, so not paying someone...! :( [who wanna do it for free?? LOL JK!]

ANYWHO, what should I call the story? (Its basically just these cuties, and imma make more, running a circus, (each of em' have traumatic backstories imma write later.) and scaring peps!) (Lavender and mint are twins!!) CLOWN IS MY FAVV HES SO CUTEE!

Chapter 1 - The Escape

The cold wind howled through the trees of the Shizukesa Forest, the sound mingling with the distant, haunting cries of night creatures. 

In this obscured sanctuary, a ten-year-old boy darted between the shadows, his skin glistening like obsidian under the pale moonlight. 

His jet black hair, complements his black eyes with sharp pupils that resemble a cat—the eyes of a creature born of nightmares. "They won't catch me, right?" 

he muttered to himself, his voice emotionless against the chilling winds. "Mother... Father... Should I have died..?" 

Lucifer, a rare hybrid forged from dragon and demon. At a time when he was just a child—innocent and untainted—he'd watched his parents perish at the hands of cold-hearted Hybrid Hunters. 

His parents screamed at him "You Should Die, get him!" 

His memory was stopped by a mysterious voice "Hello There Little One...." Lucifer looked back with his blood stained face and saw a masked figure. 

"Don't worry. I won't hurt you, come with me... Lucifer ." 

Lucifer, skeptical of this masked man, stared at him. "Are you a Hunter? Please... Just kill me." 

The man was taken back by what he had said, which sent a shiver through his spine. The masked man reached out for Lucifer and whispered in his ear. 

"No, you shouldn't die, I will protect you.... he will too . " 

"Oh. Really...? Alright..." Lucifer whispered. 

Lucifer was taken in by the Kakureta clan, a mysterious group that wore similar masks. They became his guardians, while he remained blank and emotionless.
