I may or may not have binged it all the first day watching it.

Four Irish Catholic school girls and one English school boy in Northern Ireland in the 1990s doesn’t seem like the basis for peak comedy but it is. I have fucking cried laughing so hard while watching Derry Girls. And the episodes are short too so you can binge the season in one day and then watch it over again. Its that good.

Unravelled a project I was working on a year ago while my dad was in palliative. Now this pile of technicolor ramen is on its way to becoming dishclothes!

You probably think the first one is a childhood drawing that I did when I was 5 years old but it’s not. The first picture was drawn in 2011 as I started drawing. The second one was painted today. Long story short, I had exactly 0 talent and I haven’t got a chance to visit an art school either. Other people (including some of my friends and family members) laughed at my art. They even told me to stop wasting my time on drawing. Everything was frustrating but I didn’t want to stop drawing. I didn’t let them discourage me and I am glad I didn’t. In the end practice makes a difference. Lara still doesn’t look like herself but I am definitely getting there!  Don’t let other people doubt you and most importantly don’t doubt yourself!
