An aesthetic that first appears to be pure and basic Heterosexuals Are At It Again, but becomes increasingly uncomfortable until you finally understand:

these babygrows (onesies) with parental professions on eBay.

An entrepreneurial sort, eBay user “justtheshirt” realized that for some people, the perfect gift for, say, the baby of a beekeeper is a onesie saying “Daddy’s Little Beekeeper.” In fact, the more obscure the profession, the more excited the customer will feel about the representation! So they took a list of All the Professions, and generated a listing for each one. If someone buys a onesie, they can stamp it with whatever the listing said - and make a rather enormous profit, on a £3 onesie, having made exactly one design and used one script. Genius!

The issue is, they didn’t curate the list. Not a single human appears to have overseen this process. So they have inadvertently created some uncomfortably themed babywear, like “Daddy’s Little Maid,” “Daddy’s Little Nightwalker,” and “Daddy’s Little Courtesan.”

The database also contained a massive proportion of obscure Medieval English professions, like “fulker” and “meader” and “whipcord maker.” (The auto-generated listing enthuses something like, “the perfect gift for a whipcord maker - or just for someone who wishes they were one!”)

There are onesies for babies whose daddies are herbalists, muleteers and sacristans.

I have come full circle in my feelings about this and now I am all in favor of dressing babies in these, as long as the profession is incredibly obscure, and the daddy in question refuses to explain anything.

That document was insane, the author's text was barely readable, and full of reasons that were reasonable to dislike somebody - but miles, miles away from any even slight justification to make a fucking callout. Even further from posting private DMs where the other person sounded completely supportive of Muse but then turned and used those convos for that.

To make that callout months ago and STILL be talking about that person is obsessive, unhinged, and deeply worrying.

This is fandom. Everyone is here to have fun. If you are the type of person who does this, who takes joy in running somebody out of fandom just because you personally dislike them, who has nothing better to talk with your friends about than that person you hate... you're a sad individual who makes this fandom less safe for everyone.

And that's pitiful.

Okay. Long story short, I found out that a large server was actively running a hate campaign against me. Among other things, a server mod and very popular fic author who said that she understood what I was getting at and largely agreed with me posted private conversations in a massive callout document, shared it in the server, falsely accused me of posting anon hate, and tried to use her influence to get me blacklisted. This happened, at the end of the day, because I follow a "don't like don't read" policy, draw boundaries, and don't accept insulting comments disgused as concrit from strangers. And, most importantly, because she disliked me personally.

I don't have any fucking words for how bad of an effect this has had on me. I have a history of being cyberstalked in a way that was actively dangerous. You cannot fathom how horrible it was to know that some group is targeting you but not knowing who or why after that. So. Here's what we're doing.

I love the stories I was working on and still have a lot of muse for Hazbin, but I can't touch this fucking fandom anymore outside of very private bubbles. So.

Anonymous asks have been turned off.

All of my fics are being moved onto anonymous. If I continue any of them, they will remain anonymous. Anyone who wants to find my stuff can hunt for it.

All future fics will be posted anonymously. Even if I continue writing, Museflight as a presence is gone.

Chainsaw Man fics are also going anon for the sake of being thorough. If there's a CSM fic of mine that you want to be able to easily access, this is your warning to bookmark.

ok but as someone who has depression I really loved how it's depicted through Stolas this ep?

like just the beginning where we see him reach for his pills on instinct, then starting to ask Blitzø if he could grab more, before stopping himself in fear of being more of a burden than what he must be feeling like right now

to seeing him reach for those pills (that he still hasn't asked Blitzø for) and reaping the results of being off his meds (cue intense insecurity projecting onto other ppl's situations) and just how he is overall not ok

I just love how his breakdown is so ugly, it's nowhere near the composed yet eccentric Stolas we've known so far, it's the culmination of everything that's happened - losing his powers, his wealth, his status, his daughter alongside being off his meds, that would be a recipe for disaster for anyone and I love how Viv didn't shy away from that

i feel like this may be a minority opinion but i must speak my truth

while the dance was absolutely gorgeous and so romantic, the purpose of the dance being the recap of their romance, all absolute chef's kiss

however i think we are missing the tragedy of it, which is that stolas regrets. over the course of the season he has come to realize that being with blitz is not the fix it all he thought it would be.

he begins and ends the season with a frown, looking up at the full moon. in 2.01 he was reflecting on this rose colored "romance" after a spectacularly failed date, realizing that his fantasy wasn't true. He goes through all of s2 trying to make it true, to take control and will his desires into existence. and it backfires.

stolas gets everything he wants in the end. he got to be rescued and has his knight in shining armor. he got to do a big romantic gesture, and have it be returned.

but it is for naught.

he is still unhappy. he gets everything he ever dreamed of in episode 1 of this season and it's not what he needed.

he starts the season with a handful of happy pills and by the end of it he is crying with a full bottle of them still in his hand

the 'No Fall' Au looks interesting. Is it alright if you elaborate on what that Au is?

Yes!!

No Fall was an AU born out of me and a friend on the Discord (hi Ci) being up until 5 AM or so and then talking about only this for the next two weeks... the entire premise being "Lucifer and Lilith are NOT thrown down to Hell, but don't go without punishment".

The AU became super plot-detailed and I've started writing it -- super angsty beginning with upward trajectory into the necessary amounts of comfort and fluff. But it's also something where I want a lot of it written before I start posting.

AU where lucifer is indeed, the devil, and known for his cruelty... and does not want children while lilith does. softening him would take a miracle, and well... maybe they get one.

She scowls at him. But she takes a deep breath. “... Lucifer,” she says, trying to keep her voice even. Lucifer’s eyes have started to roam over her body again, but he now meets her gaze. “I have not found out minutes ago and come straight to you. I have been pregnant. It has been some weeks and I have not lost this child.”

That does draw pause from her husband. His brows furrow slightly, and perhaps he takes her a little more seriously. “That… means nothing, Lily. You could carry this creature for the full time and they would still be born dead or too deformed to live. You know Heaven’s cruelty. You play into your own punishment.”

Her anger builds hotter within herself. Lucifer only looks at her with the same expression, but she can still control her temper better than he can his. She takes a long, deep breath. “I only came to inform you,” she says. “Not be insulted.”
