I love this! Both the comparison images and the resources list. These are the ones I've always gone for. I have Sunblind on desktop with a personal Reshade to make blacks and whites pop in a creamy way, yet realistic way. And on a notebook I use Twinkle Toes, I think it was softerhaze's first lightning mod, it still looks beautiful, with dramatic shadows and cleaner, more solid colors that makes everything look 10x better. Can't do vanilla Sims, just can't hahah

Hii Wow, those are old. They used to work back then, if I remember correctly they were by DreamTeamSims, or maybe MXIMS, but they stopped working a long time ago and I don't have them anymore. There are other, working options for hobs, though, such as these by Harrie.

soo... I was having freeze + crash issues with my Sims 4 save, tried several things, like recovering the save, still was freezing out of nowhere and crashing this started happening after some mandatory EA App update as I was trying to steer clear from the last Sims 4 updates as they seem to be of the worst kind from what I hear so I had to recover the game to try and play aaand guess what - when recovering the game, EA App will automatically install the updates without the user's consent so now i can bask in the several game breaking issues this hellish company has once again offered along with the rest of the community sometimes I wonder why I put myself through this

I agree with this. EA has destroyed the game, it's now overpriced and badly developed, there's just no comparison with Sims 1, 2 or 3 in matters of gameplay and fun, and I've played them all, I've been simming since 2001. The series was always expensive, but Sims 4 is way more costly while being broken and empty. We shouldn't get used to that. To continue to blindly buy the packs is the same as supporting the game continuing to be broken to the point of corrupting saves AND ea's shady business tactics. As a friend of mine said, "EA loves money, not games". We can't keep supporting that.

Once again asking people to not buy this shitty get to work reskin pack but I know you're all gonna ignore me because some other person will share a creator's code or something

i have decided to actually change this sim's name to facey because that's how facey i think he is

here he is sipping his coffee before going to work as a lawyer

his facey face looking slightly deranged and disconnect, like he's on the verge of a violent nervous breakdown, but still holding onto that last thread, out of nothing but a mysterious mix of spite and crazy hope, much like myself and everyone i know at this day and age

seedy bar at the apocalyptic promenade

interior of the seedy dive bar at the apocalyptic promenade. it has two storeys and not much else, but it's open from 9pm till noon.

i'm building the apocalyptic promenade in magnolia promenade, it's a fun world to tool-mod since it's small, and i went for the apocalyptic theme that i love.

this bar is in the same lot as a residence, no for rent ep, so it kind of serves as the bar for the lot and its deranged residents and their visitors.

it's always friday night at the bakery house

henry kotz, one of the squatter sims who lives at the bakery house, chilling in the kiddie pool

the old bakery house foundry cove willow creek wip

continuing the remake of the foundry cove neighborhood in willow creek into an industrial worker's hood zone, i made this building as a squat.

a long time ago, it used to be a bakery, then it got converted into a sweatshop when foundry cove began its decent, and then it was abandoned. now it's occupied by three squatters who are wild party-throwing sims and form a throuple.

the interior is done too but i'm lazy with taking pics :D

it was hard to match it into the background because there are some weird sheds around this area of willow creek, and they look like a mix of barn and industrial styles, and i only wanted to keep the industrial part.

also a very old build, i made it for some of my first ts4 sims ever, and remade it countless times since then. this is my favorite version.

foxbury commons in britechester

soo i went ahead and made some recolors for windows and roofings so they had the same shade of blue as they used in the world around the build and i love it :D

also, when i was going to take the screenie a f rainbow appeared lol and with that i think i'm done with the exterior now, i really like the result.

foxbury commons wip

started working on the university lots because i had a sim mid-way through the fine arts course.

i find it hard to build in britechester because the build mode is sooo lacking, we simply don't have similar materials like they used in the world, you know?

i was kind of happy with this build though, i think it fit the aesthetic of foxbury. still building it, and i shall look for some blue windows to make it match even more.

Mei Yao makeover

another sim made over into mm style. this one took me like two days? it was insane, because i love her so much and wanted things to look just right.

she's a rebelious teen in a traditional family of seven, having two sisters and two brothers. she's the kind that will escape at night to go party with her friends using a fake id.

she's the only one in the family who breaks her severe and traditional father's rules, and no one can keep her in check.

on a side note, this edit was hellish to make because her neck chain was exactly below the cas's menu so i had to practically hand draw it and than i lost the psd save and had to make it all over again for one of the pics lol not fun.

foundry cove willow creek wip

lil wip for the foundry cove in willow creek, another neighborhood i'm remaking.

not that much to see yet as i'm trying to coordinate the lots with eachother while also finding a style that suits the kind-of-trashy-industrial-hood vibe i want aand also blends with the surroundings - it's too much at once but it's fun

the building is the Coryell's Court apartments, a real building in Seattle which appears in the 90's grunge-era movie Singles, that i love.

i built it a looong time ago, but i still have it in my game because it turned out nice. it was in another neighborhood, but i thought it'd really fit in here, and i'm in love with how it did.

the long john pub in windenburg

pretty happy with my latest build, it's a pub in windenburg and i thought i'd name it the long john.

it's sort of a moody, old and dark pub on the basement level and with an entrance facing the back of an isolated lot, so it's a bit of a secret spot, you know?

i loove that vibe, and i built it with hellen hippie in mind, so it's sort of an alternative spot on the town.

it looks lovely at night, and also... using basemental's mod i legalized weed in windenburg lol so there's a smoking place on the second floor - only the ones who know of it show up there.
