John felt the color drain from his face. She kept it? After his having to implore her to even wear it in the first place? He’d assumed she’d tossed it down a well.

Jamie stared at him, possessive, of course, but also…searching. For understanding, John realized.

Well, he wouldn’t find any here. John didn’t understand it any more than he understood what his heart was doing at the thought of his ring tucked safely away in the medicine box he’d gifted her.

So, all he said, rather stupidly, was: “Oh.”

10 Books for 2025

Starting the list with these two books because they're my next reads! I needed something fast paced and enagaging and I'm hoping Book Lovers provides that! And then, I'm very eager to read Echo, so I can get more Outlander and more jamieclaire in my life now that droughtlander has started.

Now, (two of) my most anticipated reads for this year! I'll read The Brightest Lights soon and I'm super thrilled for TJR's new book!

I found out about these books online and they seemed instantly appealing! I'm intrigued!

Two friends (who are sisters) gave me these books for my birthday and I hope I can soon find the time to read both!

I believe the first tag was about the last 7 lines? I'm not feeling like the "last" anything I've written (it's not the first time I try to post this) is nearly good, so I'm choosing 7 random lines from the chapter I'm writing. (This doesn't mean I think this is amazing, but maybe better than some lines of dialogue).

It features Claire away on weekend full of workshop activitives, Claire making a friend and then callig Jamie, who she is missing very much:

Now, Jamie. She had fifteen minutes before the next activity, so she hastily let the rest know she’d meet them inside after she made a quick call. “We’ll save a seat for you at our table, honey.” Gabriel winked at her and followed the other two inside. He was sweet, extraordinarily funny, affectionate, confident being tactile, and gay. Which explained why Claire felt comfortable smiling and winking back right before she called Jamie. “Sassenach!” His greeting was so upbeat, it was evident he was happy to hear from her.

It is something and certainly a way to remind myself I've created a random character because it felt lazy not to name him and give him some lines. Which has me thinking a. What have I done? and why? should I pretend it didn't happen? and b. Oh, I like him. How did this happen? Now I need more of him.

We'll see where this goes? End of rant! 🎉

rewatching the winter soldier and holy god steve and natasha really had so much chemistry and a whole damn movie of them bantering and working together and growing to trust each other and flirting 24/7 and risking their lives to save each other like what a WASTE their love story would’ve been so iconic???? they literally did a fake dating trope??? a fake kiss????? like bffr??? and then they even built them more in the later films but they never actually got together????? a crime against humanity actually stevenat you will always be loved by me
