//So, you know how I rebooted Mare's blog? Well, that also means I'm gonna be rebooting Zinnia's blog too since they share a continuity so, uh, this blog is also becoming an archive. Don't worry, though. Just like with Mare, everyone's favorite menace will be back soon enough. Not quite as soon, though, I plan on reintroducing her via Mare's blog first.

Hey, there, the name's Mare Birch, Hero of Hoenn, Chosen of Rayquaza, blah, blah, blah. You probably recognize me from that whole thing with Groudon and Kyogre last year or, if you live in Hoenn, you've just seen me around. I like to help out, y'know.

You're probably wondering what Chosen of Rayquaza means. Basicslly, it's my job to represent Rayquaza's interests here on the ground while it's up in the sky keeping the planet safe from meteors. You'd actually be surprised how many meteors almost hit earth on a regular basis. To put it another way, I protect people and keep them safe and in exchange I get superpowers that'll help me protect them and keep them safe. And also permanent tattoos, apparently. The markings come with the powers, I don't know how to get rid of them.

I'm also an Aura User. Aura Wielder? Aura Guardian? I can manipulate Aura. It lets me do things like throw Aura Spheres and sense people's emotions and be cool.

If you're ever in trouble or need the world to be saved, just call my name and I'll be there! Uh, actually, that doesn't really work cause super hearing is one of the few powers I don't have so instead, like, send me an ask or something. My askbox is always open which is probably a mistake but hey, what're you gonna do.

Hey everyone, its me, BackSet, here with a sad announcement. I'm afraid that this post, the one you're reading right now, is going to be the last post on this blog. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, and this blog isn't getting deleted, too much history for that, but it will never post again. What was once a public library is now an archive.

This isn't the end of Mare, though. She's getting rebooted with a new blog! I haven't figured out all the details yet but I thought it over long and hard and I think this really is the best decision. I've had a lot of fun times and a lot of good memories. I love this version of Mare a lot but I'm just tired and there's so much about her that I wish I could have done differently. Its time for a clean slate.

The blog's not set up yet, so I can't link you too it, but I'll link it or reblog it or something to let you know when it is. Which I guess technically means this is actually the second-to-last post on this blog. I hope y'all'll join me on this transition to a new era of Mare. A new Mare-a, if you will. Mare is dead, long live Mare!
