She eased up a little when when he said she wasn’t a bother. Of course it didn’t help one hundred percent. After hearing she was a bother for years from someone who should have been more loving towards her it was hard to convince her otherwise, but she was trying. “Nice to meet you” she added with a smile. “Do you come here a lot? I feel like I haven’t really seen you around.

He didn’t always pay attention to the people around him, so he couldn’t really blame her for not doing the same, and not seeing him before, “I come here a lot, yeah,” he nodded, “You may not have noticed or we just ended up not crossing paths,” he shrugged lightly, he liked to believe that everyone that came in your life, did it was for a reason, everything happened for a reason. Maybe the coffee shop was full, so they could end up meeting.

“Well – I heard they have the most exquisite bottled water here, so you’re in luck.” She teased back, the awkwardness from her beginning to very slowly fade away. “No, but seriously.. you want anything? I’ll buy.” Leilana gave a soft smile, taking a sip of her own drink. It’s the least she could do. 

“As long as it’s not sparkling water,” he never got the appeal, he tried it before, but he thought it was really bad. If he was going to drink something that was sparkling he would choose soda, which was way better, “Really? You do know you don’t have anything to make up for, right? I’m not saying no, but you didn’t do anything wrong.”

After working in that area for so long, he didn’t really get as nervous as he did before when he had to walk into a burning building. He wasn’t invincible, he could get hurt, even if he healed fast, but partly it had to do with the fact that he also had powers. He could see why for a human it was a little more scary, they couldn’t do the things that his species could, they didn’t live as much as he did. Honestly, at this point, if he died, he wouldn’t be that upset, he lived so much, he would only hope that when his time comes, he wouldn’t suffer, and he also worried about how his loved ones would react, but other than that, he wasn’t afraid of death, “Hey, you’re not dying, okay? I’m not letting that happen,” he wrapped his arm around her body, and guided her through the fire, heading to the front door, once they passed the guy with the hose, he turned it on, and water started to come out of it. The fire behind them slowly started to be put out, as they got each step closer to the front door, “We’re almost there, you’re safe with me.”

It was the start of the night and he arrived with his best friend. It should be a fun night considering it was an event. If his friend needed help finding a date, Dorian would be there to help. As he made his way through the crowd. “Aren’t you looking handsome. You’ve got style, were you looking through my closet?” he chuckles in a teasing manner.

Going with someone to the party was not an option, he didn’t want to give the wrong impression to anyone. He was avoiding relationships, and he probably wouldn’t be in one any time soon again. It was complicated to an immortal hybrid, so he decided to go with someone that he knew that he wouldn’t have that problem, his best friend, “Why thank you,” he smiled widely, “Oh shut up, don’t make me regret coming with you.”

“The music is not that bad,” he would have picked another one if he was in charge of the party, but he could work with the one that was playing, “But then again, I’m very easy to please when it comes to music.”

“Hey, Ze,” he smiled at her, she was clearly more awkward than he was, but she had no reason to be, misunderstandings happened, “Yeah! How about you? I see you came with a certain someone,” he grinned, “Thanks...” he smiled shyly, his cheeks a light pink, “So do you, you’re stunning.”

“That’s better,” he smiled widely at her, it just felt so much more personal. Using full names made seem like they just met or were just acquaintances, “Kind of, I broke things off and lied to her, told her that it was because my feelings changes,” he hated doing it, “I just... I’m immortal, she isn’t, and she doesn’t know about the supernatural, she would notice sooner or later, if I stayed.”

          THEO  USUALLY  PAYS  mind  to  the  conversations  of  locals  and  tourists  alike  .  however  ,  this  case  was  a  little  different  when  there’s  a  couple  in  her  line  of  sight  arguing  …  loudly  .  “  you’d  think  that  whatever  they’re  arguing  about  ,  they’d  at  least  try  not  to  do  it  in  the  middle  of  the  park  ,  ”  they  comment  with  a  light  chuckle  to  the  person  next  to  them  .  “  it’s  giving  me  shakespeare  in  the  park  vibes  .  ”

It was hard to ignore the two people arguing, he honestly didn’t get why anyone would do it in a public place. He would have waited until he got home to talk to the person, or would have at least gone somewhere that they wouldn’t have to worry with eyes on them, “I guess they just couldn’t wait to get in a more private place,” he let out a small sigh, they could at least be a little more quiet, and not be screaming, “I don’t know what that is, but they’re definitely annoying me, I hope they can reach an agreement soon.”

Torin was now the one giving the other person the side eye. He hadn’t realised that his heckling would have been an invitation for conversation. It certainly wasn’t his intention. Yet here he was listening to them ramble about shit he didn’t care about. “Good” he nodded. He turned back to his beer taking a long drink. Torin could often be a man of few words when he didn’t feel like talking. “Don’t suppose this place does any karaoke free nights?” he grumbled his question, but obviously he was in the wrong place if he wasn’t here to enjoy the karaoke.

Santiago didn’t want to seem rude, but he did notice that the other was kind of lost the moment that he spotted him, “This is a karaoke bar, I guess that kind of answer your question?” he supposed that some karaoke bars could have some nights that they didn’t have karaoke, but as far as he was concerned that wasn’t the case with this one, “You walked in the wrong bar, didn’t you?” he smiled, he didn’t judge people that disliked karaoke, but that didn’t mean he understood them, since he loved it a lot.

“Do I have a choice?” he teased her, there was a reason why he went to one of his friends. He could dance with other people, and it wasn’t an actual date, “Come on then,” he stood up and reached out his hand, “Would you give me the honor to dance with me?”

Starter - Closed @latinoblood​ Location – karaoke bar.

He sat at the bar drinking his beer whilst someone sung karaoke to his left. He cringed for the umpteenth time this evening as his ears hurt with the sound that he would describe as wailing cats.  It was apparent he wasn’t enjoying himself by the look of annoyance etched across his face.  “Don’t give up your day job!” he heckled out, although it earned him some unamused glances and a couple of people side eyeing him, he didn’t give a damn. He continued to drink his beer, wishing he’d find somewhere else to drink. Somewhere that didn’t have a load of drunks believing they were American Idol winners.

Despite his insecurities, there were some things that he was confident about, his voice was one of them. He was never offended when people thought that he was a bad singer, which happened at times, he loved to sing, and he thought that he was good at it. He didn’t mind that there were some that disagreed, “I don’t plan to, I love my job way too much, this is just a hobby,” he sang a lot at the karaoke, because he missed being a part of a band. He would create one if he had the time, but he doubted that he would have, “I do what I love, and what is my true calling, I don’t plan to trade it for any other job.”
