👽 = a headcanon about a weird quirk of theirs

theo catches fish with his bare hands and throws some of them to bears and other piscivores. he keeps the other half for dinners with his parents or the bandits. he gives a few to sanji too <3

theo also always blushes and hides in a corner somewhere in the sunny when seeing nami appear because he has a puppy crush on her 😭😭 he refuses to come out of it, no matter how hard the adults and zoey try to convince him

🥇 = a headcanon about what they’re best at

as a teenager and an adult, zoey is best at fishman karate. after hack's retirement, she takes over his role as the revolutionary army's fishman karate instructor and honors him. zoey, as a kid, would learn everything from her mom and that's why she loves and appreciates her so much 🩷 her dad, sabo, gets some credit too (but koala used to sometimes not let sabo teach theo and zoey because of his vulgar teaching skills lmao 😭😭). she and theo used to win against kid bullies all the time as well BAHAHAHAHAHA

as a toddler, zoey is the best at doing the sad puppy eyes. whenever she and her brother are being babysat by dadan, magra and dogra at mt. colubo, zoey would use those the big ol' blue eyes she inherited from her mother to ask dadan for a piece of candy. if she asks before dinner, dadan says no, so the puppy eyes mostly don't work on her, but they can on rare occasions. dadan never says it, but she loves zoey and theo's blue eyes and thinks they are absolutely gorgeous and adorable

however, when zoey does it on magra or dogra, they give whatever she wants to her. point blank. zero hesitation. because they both think she's the cutest freaking thing in the world. dadan has to heavily scold them for spoiling her

💝 = a headcanon about their love language

i believe koala's love languages are "words of affirmation" and "physical touch."

when sabo and koala are both done with being busy for the day, koala compliments sabo WHEREVER and EVERYWHERE. she enjoys burying her head in his chest and telling him all the reasons why she loves and is proud of him, and it makes sabo blush like a high school girl 😭😭 she also likes to put her palm on his cheek and tell him things like "i love your face. you're so handsome" and "do you know you're the prettiest man in the world?" during their cuddle sessions in bed and sabo has to use the blankets to hide his huge grins

as for physical touch, she LOVES to surprise sabo with her kisses. she always puts her smooches on his back, shoulders, arms, neck, chest, cheeks, etc. and when he's shirtless? oh, boy. you better believe me when i say they both start making out. and, occasionally, when koala has to stay alone at their home during sabo's working hours, he has to tell her to stop kissing his lips so much or he'll be late

🎭 = a headcanon on what they lie about

i headcanon that, sometimes, sabo lied to koala about whether he was feeling down or not. because of trauma and the lack of emotional support he had from adults before being a member of the revolutionary army, he used to purposely cry alone in his dorm over ace's death and other things

when koala would ask sabo if he was okay, he would only say yes and it irritated koala. koala had to tell him it was okay to talk to her or anyone else about these feelings and breakdowns and all what sabo did was nod. over the course of months, sabo has kept improving at truthfully telling koala how he felt and it made her really happy. it had gotten so much better when they both started dating too 🩷
