Difficult, relentless and tiring.
That’s how it feels to live with Crohn’s disease and still want to be a part of society.
It’s one of those diseases in which you are incapable of showing the world the actual disease because it’s not the kind you can see with your eyes, in fact, even a specialist looks at the diseased tissue to ensure there is clear evidence of active inflammation and immune response.
When you have something like this, anything chronic for that matter, as well as, long-term or even short term, we all have the thought of “will I ever be normal again?”
Everyone has felt judged by a weakness of their own. And for me that’s Crohn’s disease, and the answer is, no, I will not ever be normal again.
I had just gotten the job I’ve wanted since I was 17-years-old, I was so stubborn I even applied to work as a freelance writer while still in High School.
But today, I own my own LLC, work as a producer and navigate a trial which changes on a day to day basis.
Right now, I am fighting an uphill battle because I made the decision to sound off.
Standing up for your rights will change the future for the rights of others, and even if that means I’m hated, at least I know I'm doing the right thing.
At the end of the day, I’m trying to ask for nothing more than to be heard and receive human to human empathy during communication.
I cannot understand how grown adults even have the capability to find time to haze others.
Is it the industry? Or is this something we all go through?
They do say every place has at least one difficult individual.
But to go as far as it has, enough to make any therapy I seek professionally online and out patient, it’s disheartening to know even after graduation, people are still actively bullying others, whether it’s me or a random co-worker who relates, it’s wrong.
Y’all don’t even know. I signed an ADA but if I could say more….

Positive Celebrity Exclusive: Daniel Emmet talks AGT, charity, childhood and more!

It’s AGT’s Daniel Emmet, he’s cute, he’s talented and he has a huge heart. Daniel Emmet is from Rochester, NY. And it has always been his passion to sing when he was 15-years-old, he moved to Las Vegas, NV and began taking music lessons, ones that would eventually lead him to his journey on America’s Got Talent.
Initially, PCG magazine didn’t know what to expect from his audition. Afterward, our ears were beyond amazed, in the same way, the audience and judges felt.
As Emmet pursued toward his goal, it became evident he had the skills to deliver a powerful performance with his unique approach to the musical love language.
Emmet shared how music became a passion, particularly, after moving to Las Vegas.
On singing and moving to Las Vegas. “I always enjoyed singing when I was younger, but it never really became a passion for me until I moved to Las Vegas at age 15. While in high school, I had an opportunity to perform (for the very first time outside of a school play) at a Gala for the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. It was in front of about 800 people, and I was so unprepared for how emotional that moment would be. I learned then and there just how powerful music can be, and how as a performer you have a chance to lift people’s spirits and take them out of their day-to-day life for the time that you’re entertaining them. Once I understood that, I knew I wanted to make music for the rest of my life.”
Equally as important, Emmet is a multi-lingual vocalist, in fact, did you guys know that Daniel knows six languages?
Of course, we wanted to know what influenced him to learn such a variety of spoken language.
On Falling in love with different languages of music:
“I really fell in love with singing in different languages in college. I studied music at Chapman University, and I was very fortunate to have great professors and resources there to learn to sing in the different languages. I would have to say my favorite performance on AGT this far has been “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” because it combined my love of singing in a foreign language, and it was a chance to really do something unexpected for a classical singer. I was able to combine my love of classical music and my love of rock ’n’ roll into one song! Plus there was actual fire on stage, and that’s just way too cool.”
Indeed, he is pure talent, the whole package.
I mean, his wide range of musical expression crosses far across the genre spectrum, including Opera and he learns quickly, in fact, Simon gave him a song to learn and he only had one hour.
PCG magazine wanted to know more about that hour and how it felt have that experience on America’s Got Talent.
On how it felt to experience learning a song in one hour.
“Well, it was absolutely an adrenaline-junkie worthy hour! I think that because there was a time constraint, I almost didn’t have time to be nervous, I just knew I had to learn it, I had to get it done, and through sheer adrenaline and determination it came together, and while terrifying, it was a moment I’ll never forget.”
Inspiring, we can’t imagine how intense that moment was for Daniel. But he nailed it and literally blew the judges and audience right off the stage. It was such a powerful performance, especially, taking into account he only had 1-hour to learn the new song.
The most incredible feeling in the world is knowing that you “made it,” to your next destination in your journey. After all, it’s an emotion you’ll never forget and we asked how it felt to see himself on television for the first time.
On how it was to watch himself on TV.
He shared how “surreal,” the whole time he watched himself on TV.
“It felt so surreal, it was an out-of-body experience for me, and I can say with certainty that all of the emotions from the audition came rushing back as I watched myself on TV for the first time. It was such a crazy moment for me, I couldn’t believe it was really happening!”
Afterward, it was time to be judged, yet, once again he shocked the audience, judges and got through to the next act. Emmet opened up about his audition and hearing what the judges had to say after his performance.
On how he felt right before his audition.
“Nervous of course, but even more excited than nervous!”
On how it felt to watch his audition on America’s Got Talent. “
It felt absolutely electrifying, and validating, hearing from the judges that I was good enough was a feeling I’ll never forget.”
As a result, Emmets has some encouragement for those thinking about trying out for America’s Got Talent 2019.
On advice for those considering audition for America’s Got Talent 2019.
“ABSOLUTELY GO FOR IT! You have the chance to work with some of the greatest professionals in the industry, and really showcase your art and passion on the biggest stage in the world. AGT has been such a positive experience for me this season, I can’t say enough how grateful I am to the entire AGT family for letting me be a part of season 13!”
Most importantly, Daniel Emmet opened up about what he’s learned throughout his AGT journey.
“One significant thing I’ve learned about myself is that you can always find more to give. It doesn’t matter how hard you work on a song or a performance, you can always find a way to make it more impactful, and I love that I get to learn something every day about how to improve in this business.”
Emmet also shared how he enjoys helping charitable causes, and works with a couple where he lives in Las Vegas. On charities, he loves and supports.
“Yes, I am proud and humbled to say I have been working with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation and Sepsis Alliance since I was in high school. Both of these charities have a special place in my heart!”
And PCG magazine loves a good cause, it’s great to hear that Daniel Emmet has taken the opportunity to work with both charities.
That’s what makes Daniel shine, he’s not afraid to try, he has a big heart and he’s extremely talented. It’s no surprise Emmet is able to learn a song in 1-hour and new skills daily.
That’s how artists grow that’s why his journey is valuable.
Artists tend to look up to someone who may have taught them something of value. We wanted to know who Daniel Emmet would want to tour given the opportunity.
“Adele. She is such a tremendous artist. Her songwriting and her performance are stunning, moving, emotional, and her personality and heart come through the microphone every time she sings. I would be able to learn so much from her.”
I could see “Daniel Emmet and Adele,” on tour on a big sponsor sign (haha). These two would make quite the duo on tour, don’t you think? On his favorite food and restaurants. Finally, we knew Daniel could sing, we learned about his journey and now was time to learn a little about his personality and asked what his favorite restaurant is to eat a fancy dinner?“
On his favorite films and film characters.
“I love all the movies in the franchise, but if I had to choose one, it would be Goldfinger. An absolute classic.” On childhood memories.Childhood is the one thing that will always be with us as we grow older, and we asked about his favorite childhood memory. “Especially now that I live in a desert, something I’ll always cherish are my memories of cutting down Christmas trees with my family when I was younger. It’s simple, but its special, and not everyone lives in a place where you can do that.”On something unique to his family. And he even shared a little something unique to his family.“It may not be unique, but my Grandma makes the world’s best meatballs, and she taught me how to make them, so that’s a recipe that’s really special to me.” On his favorite singer.
Last but not least, his favorite singer of all time is the one and only…
“Celine Dion”
There’s no doubt, Daniel Emmet is truly an amazing act to have on America’s Got Talent.
The acts are intensifying and we know Emmet is here for the win, we can’t wait to see what the rest of his AGT journey.
Considering he’s made it so far, we’re sending all the love and positive vibes in the world.

Christina Grimmie continues to change the world from heaven!
Last year was a rough year, we lost a lot of amazing talent in quite a few unfortunate accidents. One date that hit the world in the heart was on June 10, 2016. The one and only Christina Grimmie was taken from this Earth. She spread her wings and made way back to her home in the heavens. Although she’s no longer with us physically, she’s left a remarkable impact on this world and she’s still influencing her family, friends and fans.
Have you heard about the Christina Grimmie Foundation?
As you know we love bringing positive celebrity gossip and all their wonderful charities happening in the world. And we couldn’t be more proud of Christina Grimmie and her goals to change this world for the better.
The Christina Grimmie Foundation has focused its mission on making a profound impact on the world in two ways: Providing financial, emotional and encouragement support to families who have suffered from the negative effects of gun violence and it’s there to support families who have had to face the struggles of receiving a breast cancer diagnosis.
The fact is, life comes at you fast and everything can change in less than one second. And Christina knew how precious it is to be alive, even through the tough trials we all go through in life. Afterall, it was Christina that said “People aren’t born strong. People grows stronger little by little encountering difficult situations learning not to run from them.”
And she’s completely on point, don’t you agree? We aren’t born strong but the trials that we go through in life, those make us strong. We are supposed to fight, endure until the end and help others achieve their goals as well. That’s one thing that Christina Grimmie taught the world on a daily basis. She impacted the world through her music, her beliefs and her constant faith and love for everybody she had in her life, including her fans.
But there are some people who didn’t know a lot about Christina Grimmie. And let us just assure you, no article, no words, nothing we write can fully justify how amazing this daughter of God truly was inside and out. Christina had the dream and desire to sing and that’s exactly what she did, she followed those dreams and started her YouTube channel. Those pipes of her drew the attention of over 3.8 million followers. And shortly after that she released her first début album “With Love,” and opened for Selena Gomez during her North American Tour.
Life really started to take off for Christina after her time on The Voice working with Adam Levine. And it was “probably the most defining moments of her life,” as she expressed in past interviews. She said:
“It definitely elevated me, I feel, in a professional way. I feel like people, you know, probably didn’t take me as seriously when I was just living on the YouTube space.” she stated adding “The Voice kind of brought this level of professionalism to the table and I never really had that and the exposure was so widespread.”
And because she didn’t stop she was able to influence in the world in more than one way. She’s worked on many charities, she’s worked with the Humane Society, PETA, Oceana and even ONICEF.
How amazing is that, really? There are so many thing we could be doing in the world to help better our surroundings but we don’t take action and she did take action. She stood as a positive influence and leader, encouraging us all to take action in our world. It was just recently ( April 23, 2017) that the Human Society honored Christina with the Impact Award and Rachel Platten gave an absolutely beautiful tribute.
The impact Christina Grimmie made on this world is permanent. And I think that’s amazing. (I mean when I leave this Earth, my only hope is that I was able to influence one person to become better than they were yesterday. If I’ve made one person smile then I consider that a success). It doesn’t matter how rich you are or what you do for work in this life. What really matters is how you impact this world.
Grimmie left nothing but a Christ-like light in the lives of her family, friends and fans. That you guys, is something special.
The Christina Grimmie legacy will continue to live on through her foundation and the work of her family. They have been working hard to make sure that her wishes are still being met and that she can continue to influence the world through her passions, music and foundation. And this you guys is called being alive even if she’s not here physically.
Christina Grimmie is in all of us. While her death was far too soon and tragic, it should never define Christina as whole. It should merely a footnote compared to everything else she’s been able to accomplish because her charity, philanthropy, love for others and God, those are what will allow her to live on with her influence.
You never forget a person like Christina Grimmie. She was fun, goofy, honest and above all, she was herself. She wasn’t ashamed to be herself and that’s how we should all strive to be in this life.
Marcus opened up about her new album that will be coming out in June 2017.
“Everything changed when she met this producer Stephen (Rezza). This is the best stuff I’ve ever written.” She told her family. And when you listen to her latest hit, well, it gives you the chills because while she may not have known at the time, the lyrics fit perfectly:
“I won’t be another ghost
No, I won’t be invisible
You see me everywhere you go
No, I won’t be invisible, yeah”
She will not be another ghost, in fact, she will never be invisible. And she’s still changing the world from above. If you haven’t heard her latest hit, check it out below. And stay tuned because we are going to continue and follow her legacy. PCG magazine is devoted in sharing the positive that talent bring to the table. And we’re beyond proud of Christina Grimmie and her family. Remember, this new album is going to come out June 2017.
The proceeds for the album will be going to the Christina Grimmie Foundation supporting families who have had to deal with gun violence and breast cancer. These tragedies are hard and the Grimmie family just wants other people who are struggling to feel support when it’s hard to think, trials can really make it hard to function. But with their help and Christina’s constant influence we can work together to influence the world in a positive light.
Never give up, just keep getting stronger.
How did Christina Grimmie influence your life? Let us know in the comments below. (We are working on an exclusive and would love to include your story in our next write-up). Don’t forget to subscribe to our positive celebrity gossip Newsletter. That way you can stay up-to-date on the latest Christina Grimmie Foundation news and music.
Blessed be.

Positive Celebrity News is currently under construction, please stay up-to-date on Tumblr and get ready for a step up on our positive vibes and seeing the good in Hollywood!
Self-Image can feel so damn humiliating.
Fat to Skinny: self-Image can feel so damn humiliating.
“A strong, positive self-image is the best possible preparation for success.” – Joyce Brothers
Isn’t it true self-image can feel so damn humiliating? What do you think it feels like to honestly really hate yourself and your body? Thinking you need to go from fat to skinny is my definition of being so mean to yourself…
When you find yourself looking into a mirror and thinking ‘ew, I’m so fat,’ and ‘shit I need to get more make-up, I’m out of foundation and I look pizza dragon face,’ it’s heart-breaking, as well as confusing due to the fact it’s not true.
A positive self-fulfilling prophecy is something we all need!
It isn’t about going from fat to skinny!
Stop worrying about “fat to skinny,” ideas and appreciate yourself.
Though it’s common, many hide their emotions and lather up in make or snakeskin oil in an attempt to nail new styles and trends.
Unfortunately, the truth behind these flawless magazine covers is they are touched up by professional software, such as Adobe’s “Photoshop.”
Yes, the women featured in Vogue, and other magazines alike are very gorgeous in real life, but the industry tends to push it the extra mile by editing their pictures to a T.
Consequently, it’s programmed into our minds that we all need to look a certain way, walk a certain way and talk a certain way.
I fail to agree with most of those magazines and ridiculous expectations but they will always be apart of our world, constantly evolving.
Admittedly, I have looked in the mirror and felt the very same thing, so much that living in my body felt like a prison.
Evidently, a diagnosis of Crohn’s disease at the highest moment in life tore me to the floor. I was the fittest ever, with 16% body fat and at least four abs. And it felt damn good but then life became hazy.
Imagine being your fittest, your happiest and watching your body crumble in front of the mirror due to all the medications you have to take in order to live a half-decent normal life.
Next comes the job where you work with absolutely flawless looking CEOs, publishers, talent, etc.
What would happen when you focus on going from fat to skinny?
Well, I’ll tell you what “could happen,” since we are all different. First, you may obsess with the thought of “how can I go from fat to skinny?”
The happiness leaves, it was fucking humiliating to have stretch marks and not even reached a point in my life where I had a baby.
The way my body was “supposed to be,” left due to Cushing’s syndrome.
People judged my job performance and then I assumed my disease would keep me from getting any decent writing job.
I felt as though I was inspiring others but I hated myself.
My fucking kinkiness sex life went down because I was too embarrassed to take off my shirt.
I had to shave my hair that touched my ass, all that way down to a “Ruby Rose,” cut, which was hard to digest.
Lastly, hating myself set in and I lost track of who I truly was, all because of an expectation, I didn’t change, my body did, right?
Finally, it hit me: I’m being so fucking mean to myself because it doesn’t matter who you are, how much you weigh, or what you do in life, you are and will always looking amazing and you should be proud of your battle scars.
Why worry about going from fat to skinny?
Elevate your self-image, forget about fat to skinny!
Elevate yourself because you deserve it, you deserve to be proud of any “imperfections.”
Further, those imperfections are what make you damn perfect.
Most importantly, you don’t need to beautify yourself to get a good job or find a good man or woman, frankly, you merely have to be proud of who you are as a whole.
Lastly, take the time to love your self-image, your mental toughness and be who you want to become, life is too short to hate on others, including yourself, let the trolls be trolls.
You’ll be making positive emotional changes while they sit and whine about whatever the hell they want for the rest of their life, that sounds miserable.
If you want “it” (whatever IT is) you can have it believe in yourself, and understand your self-image doesn’t define your future jobs, friends, love life, etc.
Just as Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Kesha, and many others we look up to say, love yourself.
Blessed be!

There’s so much that happens to us while we grow from the choices we make in life. Most times, it can feel like the world won’t give you a break. Positive Celebrity Exclusive: Daniel Radcliffe talks charity, his favorite role and more!
Positive Celebrity Exclusive: Daniel Radcliffe talks charity, his favorite role and more!
"If my best friend hides his farts from me then what else is he hiding from me, and why does that make me feel so alone?" - Swiss Army Man
Daniel Radcliffe is best known for his role as the young wizard in Harry Potter. In fact, that’s one of his most popular characters. After all, he dedicated ten years of his life to the role.
Daniel Jacob Radcliffe was born on July 23, 1989, in Fulham, London, England to Marcia Gresham, who worked as a casting agent.
The 29-year-old has worked very hard during his career and has always been comfortable talking about nearly any subject, he’s also heavily involved in charity work, giving back is an important part of his life.
Positive Celebrity News reached out to Radcliffe for a quick interview. Instantly, we were drawn to his personality and authenticity.
While Daniel Radcliffe is known for the Harry Potter series, he’s also enjoyed playing other roles including The Gamechangers (TV Movie), Now You See Me 2 (Walter Mabry), and Swiss Army Man (Manny). As a matter of fact, Radcliffe revealed his role as Manny on “Swiss Army Man,” one of his favorite characters to play.
On favorite character played:
“Obviously, I loved playing Harry and those 10-years were very special, but my favorite character has to be ‘Manny,’ in Swiss Army Man. He’s a sweet, dead weirdo and it was awesome to play him!”
Swiss Army Brings forth an intriguing plot played by Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe.
In case you missed it, the film was released on July 1, 2016, in the USA and those in the UK had to wait until September 30th to see the highly anticipated film.
Now, you might be wondering about the plot for Swiss Army Man, one question for to summarize the film.
What happens when a hopeless man stranded on a deserted island befriends a dead body? Well, they go on a surreal journey to get home.
Swiss Army Man made the journey unique. Daniel Radcliffe revealed opened up about the film to The Guardian in 2016, after they revealed highly anticipated the film.
Radcliffe shared how the meant a lot to him.
“Oh, good; me too. If I had to burn every other scene I’ve ever done in my career and leave one, it would be the bus scene in Swiss Army Man. It’s the best six minutes I’ve ever been involved with onscreen.”
Truthfully there was something deeply beautiful about “Swiss Army Man,” and while it might not be everyone’s taste, we adored the film, what other films can make fart jokes so poetic? And I truly did enjoy the friendship that Radcliffe and Dano brought forth, you could sense they had chemistry which, in reality, shows the bigger picture and odd but fun journey they go on in the film, “Swiss Army Man.”
The handsome man also opened up to us at PCG magazine about one of his favorite charities. “The Trevor Project. What they do is vital and thankfully more and more people seem to be becoming aware of them.”
Lastly, we wanted to know what Daniel Radcliffe himself, would tell the whole world if he could, in thirty seconds.
“I have to quote one of my favoruite authors (Kurt Vonnegut) here: ‘“"There’s only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” So, yeah that’s it really, just be kind, thanks!”
What an amazing, creative and talented man. He’s honestly such an easy person to talk with and have a positive conversation. Let us know what you thought in the comments below. And if you’re enjoying the positive vibes, be sure to subscribe to our PCG magazine newsletter. That way you can stay up-to-date on the latest positive celebrity news.
