Merry Christmas!
https://videopress.com/embed/AwTTnMwK?hd=0&autoPlay=0&permalink=0&loop=0Merry Christmas to all of my friends and family! I hope this holiday season has been one of joy and love for everyone.
I was hoping that Jack would have had some reaction to Christmas Snoopy, but I should have known better since we do have the laziest Jack Russell on the planet.
I have to apologize for not sending out…

Stanley, not so compliant
Stanley, not so compliant
There is Stanley running away, not wanting to be part of the antler experience. We did get him to finally cooperate, but it took a lot of pleading and Jack’s help.

Reindeer Jack LOL. Jack was so annoyed with me, but I guess his love for me is stronger because he sat there while I clicked away. The look of disdain on his face was priceless, I wish he could talk. LOL poor Jack.

Oh Christmas tree....
Oh Christmas tree….
I haven’t written in a few days only because I have been so tired. Today was my first round of immunotherapy and so far so good, though Doctor Mullally did tell me that extreme fatigue tomorrow is well within the realm of possibility, but ironically that is a good thing, because it would show a reaction, something we are hoping for either now or in the next few weeks.
Our son decorated the…

I am taking a much needed break from politics
I am taking a much needed break from politics
I am writing this with sadness in my heart, because writing about politics is a passion of mine, but I wanted to let my readers know that I didn’t make this decision lightly. As some of you know, I have incurable squamous cell carcinoma, this election was of such consequence to the well-being of the Affordable Care Act, I have been insured using the Affordable Care Act exchange marketplace, so…

Loving : a movie review
Loving : a movie review
My mother and I went to see Loving this morning at one of her favorite theaters on the Upper Westside. We loved it. The direction, the acting, the history and its message make it such that it should be required viewing for everyone. We both knew of the Supreme Court Case, but it really hits you after the first half hour, which passes by without any drama, quietly, when the police sneak into the…

The gorgeousness of my mother's hibiscus
The gorgeousness of my mother’s hibiscus
How gorgeous are they? Believe it or, these are the first blooms she has gotten all year. Inside or out, at least she finally got blossoms, the wait was more than worth it.

The Wall Street Journal Shows How Not To Handle Donald Trump’s False Voting Claim
The Wall Street Journal Shows How Not To Handle Donald Trump’s False Voting Claim
Someone, anyone take Trump’s phone away from him! He needs to start practicing restraint now, long before Jan. 20th. We don’t need a President who spends his nights tweeting outrageous lies, corporate media do your constitutionally mandated job! It is getting very annoying for those of us who prefer fact over fiction. Read the article:…

A beautiful sky on the Mass Pike
A beautiful sky on the Mass Pike
Our son and I went off to Mass. General Hospital today to get my staples, all 37 of them, removed. Doctor Mullally had told me it wasn’t going to hurt, and for the first time ever, he got it wrong, it did hurt. Was it angonizing? No, of course not, it felt more like the annoyance of several paper cuts which can be quite aggravating instead. I kept my smile on because it is pointless to complain,…

Media Helps Boost Donald Trump’s False Claim That ‘Millions’ Voted Illegally
Media Helps Boost Donald Trump’s False Claim That ‘Millions’ Voted Illegally
That’s it, I have had it with our corporate media who can’t hold someone to basic standards after he was elected President. President Elect Trump’s tweet was fact checked and it’s a blatant lie. I have the solution: since we Democrats have our candidate, who to date has won 2.2 million more votes than Trump, and Republican voters have their candidate who won the Electoral College fair and square,…

Hacksaw Ridge : a movie review
Hacksaw Ridge : a movie review
My husband, our son and I went to see Hacksaw Ridge, my choice, ordinarily I don’t pick war movies, but I was curious to learn about Desmond Doss, the conscientious collarborator. He refused to see himself as an objector, he saw himself as playing a different, but equally important role in the Second World War being fought out in the Pacific Islands.
We all came away agreeing that this was a very…

Standing Rock Member Reminds Barack Obama About Promise He Made When They Met
Standing Rock Member Reminds Barack Obama About Promise He Made When They Met
President Obama please take a stand in solidarity with those at Standing Rock. I realize you are very busy, but this matters to so many who have been ignored. Moreover President Elect Trump has a financial stake in the pipeline going through, that should be enough to issue an executive order I would think. We have so much to make up for to the Native American, economically, politically,…
