HOW TO LIST AN ITEM THAT WILL SELL

When it comes to a user or shop name, I find this to be irrelevant unless you are going to promote your brand consistently across multiple platforms.

if you choose to promOte with social media, do this..

Be creative and unique. This will help when you promote listings on social media. havinG the same name on multiple platforms will allow your audience to follow you more easily.

BE SEARCHABLE

START by Searching items that are identical to yours in condition, size, manufacturing date (if it’s an original or replication) etc. or close to it.

see what it’s actually selling for. you can ask for any price, but what are people currently willing to pay?

Take into Consideration The quality of similar listed products as well as how many are available.

If your product is rare, exclusive, or a collectible you may be able to ask for a higher selling price, but this could also mean that not many people will be searching for this item.

Since your item is new, there should be no difference as long as you make sure that it is the exact make, model and condition as yours. Be sure to list any defects or flaws and also anything that makes your item stand out or unique.

Mercari will allow a max of 12 photos. Be sure to use every single one. Even if it’s just different angles, close-ups, action shots, or even the screenshots of Competitors prices.
