I'd like to clarify both Huffman siblings are on the Aro/Ace spectrum. Yes, both siblings are romantically involved with their respective partners. Admittedly, both Jack and Hazel's sexualities are still unknown/unclear to me.

Gavriel grew up living the heteronormative lifestyle, and since he held no particular interest towards anyone, he defaulted to being 'straight' (with some partners throughout his life, none lasting) until Jack came along.

Grace already knew herself and felt no interest in being in a relationship up until she got hyperfixated towards Hazel.

Jack has a preference towards women and has dated a few throughout his life before settling down with Gavriel.

Hazel has been with a lot of people regardless of sex and gender, but mostly men. Might be pansexual but we'll see, she only romances people she has genuine emotional connection and bond to.

Asexual people are valid even if they come out as ace after a traumatic event. Even if the event is part of the reason. Even if they change their mind later. So tired of this conversation.

I can't imagine how frustrating it must feel for other people to embrace asexuality as an identity and then be invalidated because of their past experiences. God forbid people change identities over time and God forbid their life experiences impact those choices.

Asexual pride. I am so late for the day, so much university stuff to do... But hey, I have them finished. And J.o.K.e. Rowling can go to hell with what she said about us asexuals - we are not "oppressed" and it's not like we just don't fancy a shag. We are not dysfunctional people who need unnecessary and sometimes deadly harmful "treatment" or "therapy". Thanks to creeps like you, we have to suffer harassment in the name of "fixing" us when, in fact, you cause us emotional, physical and sexual abuse. Yes, some asexuals may have sex to consensually support their partner's needs, some of us want to have kids, some of us can do it as a means to relieve our stress, and some of us just don't do it. Asexual people don't always experience interest in sex. It's not "low" libido; it's just that some of us just don't want to "do it" because we don't just want it, and that's it.

You asexuals, their partners, friends, relatives and beloved ones, as well agender people, aromantics and even those interested in supporting our a-spec community are always allowed to come in and be a part of our community. »»————-　⚜　————-««
