One sees many characters wandering around Wondercon, and it's not just because of the ever-present cosplay. (Though that does play a part.) Here are some of the interesting people and faces of Wondercon. See the rest of the photos here.

This past weekend, Burbank welcomed the return of Eliot Brodsky's Monsterpalooza. In attendance were all walks of life and death, not to mention the more famous living ones like Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner), all of the Hellraiser clan and many, many more. One thing is for sure, this gathering isn't for the faint of heart. See more photos here.

We tried to capture the hues and the hordes. Last two exhibits still up for viewing, so check 'em out! See the rest of the photos from the even here.

There has never been a better time to be a vegan. Stores are stocked with piles of dairy-free dairy — all the ice cream and cheese and butter your heart could desire. There are dating sites and online communities to help you meet like-minded eaters. Finally, the vegan restaurant has broken free from its self-built hippie prison. The glamorous vegan restaurant has arrived. Now Café Gratitude has opened Gracias Madre, which also has a location in the Bay Area. More upscale than Gratitude, Gracias Madre gives Mexican food the vegan treatment. See the rest of the photos here.
