"Expect"
We draw to our lives oftentimes what we expect in our lives.
I expect to be joyful and happy.  I expect to live like there is no tomorrow. I expect to experience an ultimate love. I expect promotion and increase. I expect to be blessed.  I expect my child to excel in life. I expect to laugh more than I cry. I expect to fulfill my purpose. I expect success in my educational pursuits.
Ephesians 3:20-21:
"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us".
"Expect what you Expect"

"Be Still"
Do you ever experience anxiety, worry, migraines or become impatient? It seems as though the things you hope and pray for will not come to pass. Even the things you have may seem to be on shaky ground.  Your faith is real; however you feel it wavering. You are trying to orchestrate and manifest blessings in your life.  Fighting in what seems like a losing battle.  Are you frustrated?
Psalms 46:10
"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth!"
Rest, I Say!
Peace "Be Still", I Command!
God's word is true and his promises are unfailing!

“Chosen”
The favor that has been placed on our lives mandates how we live day to day.  We are not allowed to act out like others or to be common.
Whether you are a Director, Manager, Coach, Leader,  Advisor or Witness it demands a greater call of accountability. You can't go along with the crowd.  Your spritual conscious won't allow you to move very far out of "God's Will"; if you heed to his voice, but that is another lawmeditations.
"Chosen" people have to be the bigger person...
"Chosen" people sometimes finish last...
"Chosen" people turn the other cheek...
"Chosen" people encourage others when we need encouraging...
Matthew 22:14
"For many are called but few are chosen"
Let's choose to be chosen in our actions and our way of life!

Life: Checkers or Chess
We treat life like a game of checkers. We move from one position, stage, place, job and relationship to the next; quickly jumping over people, places, situations and oftentimes feelings all to be crowned king or queen. God on the other hand has designed our lives to be more like a game of chess; you know carefully thought out and uniquely and divinely planned.  A game of chess lasts longer than a game of checkers.  The strategic moves and well thought out plans are timely and allows us to succeed in the game called “life”. Let’s make a commitment to ourselves to manage our lives less like “Checkers” and more like “Chess”! Meditate and pray before you make any move or take any action.

Life: Chess or Checkers
I was recently having a conversation with a new friend, a kindred spirit I might even say.  We were talking about life and life’s experiences. The analogy came to me that we treat life like a game of checkers.
“God Has Plans” so let us meditate and pray before we make any moves or take any actions.
