NEW STYX ALBUM IMMINENT - New Cover Revealed!
Through one of the Styx Discord servers I'm a part of, I just got a look at Styx's "Circling From Above" album cover and man is it pretty!

It honestly gave me goosebumps to look at it for the first time....(and I want to find out who did it so I can shake the artist's hand because, c'mon, this is GREAT)
And at 6pm CST/7pm ET tonight is a Q&A and release party for the new single "Build And Destroy": here

Gowan Fanclub Archive
1987
(Supplementary to the Fanclub post of the same year)
This was one of the promo photos you could get, then send in to get signed by the man himself(and from seeing so many of his autographs, this one matches up to the time period).
Side note: this photo was definitely well-loved. Had to clean up a bit of wear after scanning, but was in overall great condition.

I Have Acquired Official Gowan Fanclub Archival Material!
I got a small archive of Official Fanclub stuff off ebay from 1985-1991, (thank you seller from Quebec!) that I have queued up to post every Monday evening on my LG Fan Blog(starting today - Happy St. Patrick's Day!). I have split them up by year(to best of my ability), and will post in chronological order.
***Side note: any addresses you see in these pieces of Canadian history may be defunct, so I highly recommend NOT sending anything to them, lest you want your letters/whatnot lost or returned***

"Strange Animal 40th Anniversary"
A piece inspired by both the 40th anniversary of the release of Gowan's Strange Animal album(back on Feb 4th!), and a @muchofficial ad piece I did back in 2017
Done in SketchBook Pro over the last couple of weeks.

"Super Graphic Ultra Modern"
Inspired by the Chappell Roan song of the same name, I finally got around to making a proper piece(or three!) of Lawrence Gowan's drag!sona Lucretia. The main triptych poster is inspired by music ads from the 80s and 90s.
I also added the separate pieces by themselves so you can get a better look at them.
Chipped away at this over the past month in SketchBook Pro - the headshot was made on my Samsung S21 FE phone, and the rest was done on my HP touchscreen laptop.
Art (c) Illia St. Onge 2025
Get the main triptych poster and the separate components on things in my RedBubble shop - same username on there

"The Man In The Cheshire Suit"
A doodle brought to you by Lawrence Gowan sending a magestically-posed pic in reaction to an in-progress art piece I sent for approval.
Included comic book style and 80s elements in this one (including my own version of the Cheshire Cat leaping in behind)
Done completely on my Samsung S21 FE in about 10 hours(chipped at over the past couple weeks)

"A Criminal Mind: One Last Heist" - head studies/doodles
To keep my skills up and warm up over the past couple weeks, I whipped up these head studies to practice expressions and angles of the Criminal Mind, with his silvery mullet that I have him donning in my current-time AU of the A Criminal Mind cinematic universe.
Done in SketchBook Pro between my laptop (for lines/drawing) and my phone(colors).

"The Moon & Fashion Magazine: Birthday Edition"
A happiest of Birthdays to the one and only Lawrence Gowan !! Something a little different this year for the occasion - a mock magazine cover based on the music video for his song "Cosmetics". (Technically this is a sequel to a piece I did a few years back)
Done on my laptop in SketchBook Pro in about 12 hours total.
