I don't care if somebody was "born a man" or "born a woman"
We were fucking born as babies, I frankly don't care what you were "born to be," so long as you are happy in the here and now. That's what matters more, not this bioessentialist "you're born this way, and nothing you do or say matters more than how you were born"

Just thinking about how we had to leave our ex in part because they saw our plurality as a problem to be fixed, as a force that had stolen away their beloved. All while living in denial of their own..
.. thinking about this because a friend confided that their own partner is pushing them into integration, implying that larger systems are inherently unproductive people, as if being productive is some kind of moral imperative. Telling them that they just keep making headmates for fun...
I don't have a good end to this. It's just hard to watch.

Oopsies, forgot to exist there for a bit. The problem with letting sexuality completely dominate your communication for over a decade is that you forget how to interact with not horny partners in an intimate way. And it leaves you feeling unloved and unwanted. Really feeling that now.

For systems out there currently healing or in denial, I’m here to say that you don’t have to compare your symptoms with other people.
It also applies to the amount of headmates, or trauma. Just remember that by not relating to someone’s experience despite the same illness doesn’t mean you’re fully faking it. If everyone had the same symptoms and severity that would’ve been solved.
If you think other people’s experiences have made you doubt your own plurarity, hit me in the DMs.

Last night our partner was complaining about common labels in the larger community (gatekeeper, persecutor, etc) and how both restrictive and omnipresent they seem to be. For some reason it was hard to explain how those terms are useful in providing context, especially when someone is making content for a wide audience that may or may not know anything about the headmate they're describing.
Just... A lot of emotions about it

Since being on Tumblr I've found a lot of content that I love to see, but before filtering out some things there was way too much triggering discourse ._.

Appreciation post for systems who:
(syscourse please dni for this post)
Feel very connected to the core
Don't know if they're a system
Don't like medical terms
Don't feel comfortable labeling their system
Consist of headmates who are all one gender, colour, species, etc...
Don't switch everyday
Don't "hear voices"
Have similar interests among headmates
Have fictives that don't have source memories
Have factives
Consider their system small
Don't tell people they're a system
Tell people they're a system
Don't have littles
Have a host that is always in the front
Don't have a set host
Don't assign roles to their headmates / alters
Are confused by system roles and labels
Struggle with understanding if they have trauma
Who have alters without a set face claim
Who don't have an inner world
Who have a hard time hearing each other
Have alters that can't tell if they're the same person as the host
Can't get medical help, or are scared to get medical help
Don't think they'll tell their romantic partner about their plurality
If you're plural; you're valid.
We see you, we love you. You're doing so well. Even if you're unsure of your origin / labels / if you're even plural, it's fine to experiment and it's fine to be wrong.
Being a system isn't easy. We see you.

Plegg culture is thinking that the "voice of reason" everyone talks about is literal and not just a metaphor for thinking logically. Bonus points if you think that being able to let your "voice of reason" take over to do exams and stuff is a good thing and how being smart works.
Anything about these kinds of "voices" always confused us when we were younger, because what do you mean, you don't actually hear a voice?? What do you mean, it's metaphorical??

Hi! Let me introduce some concepts for the uninitiated before we introduce the blog.
-We are a DID system, this means that we are many individuals sharing a body. Sometimes we blend together in uncomfortable ways for the sake of getting through the day, but this is a place for us to be as open as we like with our true identities.
-our body is transfem, as is our host. While our system covers a huge variety of gender expressions, we're all familiar with feelings of dysphoria and dysmorphia, because this body will never be quite right.
-being human is optional, we have a very real place we exist when we aren't fronting, we (usually) share memories, but not all systems do.
-we are not diagnosed, but we have a mixture of alters and headmates, some born from trauma and others not. If you take issue with that, please leave. If you don't believe systems can exist without trauma, please leave.
-even IRL we are pretty open, so feel free to ask anything, if you can do so respectfully.
This is a place for us to post written down versions of things that happen in our headspace. There might also be general descriptions of things, system memes, and other semi related stuff. While this is intended to be mostly PG, I make no promises that there won't ever be nsfw content.
