I know a lot of people are freaking out because the Mileven makeout scenes and okay it’s fine if you are not everyone likes them.And yeah seeing kids making out makes people uncomfortable I feel the same way.But don’t attack those of us that over twenty and ship Mileven,not all of us that ship them sexualize them.A lot of us ship them for other reasons like some of us think the bond Mike and El have is sweet,or it reminds us of when we were that age.

Just a Little Something

I haven’t been able to write anything in a while, but I thought I would pump a little something out. Love you guys, and I hope you're having a great summer!!

The sun, it had been a while since she had stood in direct sunlight like she was doing now. Last summer she would go on short walks with Hopper, never really leaving the cabin too far behind. Now as she walked hand in hand with Mike she could feel the sun beams giving her skin a tan she never really new she wanted.

“I haven’t seen the grass this tall in a long time,” Mike said guiding her through the field. The rest of the party ran ahead of them, Max jumping onto the back of Lucas while Dustin chasted Will with a long stick. “All the rain makes it like this.” El nodded her head, looking through the grass with a smile. For her it reached past her hips, for Mike it only hit his legs. She felt as if she hadn't grown an inch in the months since they had found each other again. Mike on the other hand had done all the growing for them.

“Where are we going?” She asked, slightly tripping over a rock hidden in the grass. Mike grabbed her arm with both of his hands making sure she stayed up straight.

“I don’t know,” He said with a little laugh. “I think right now we are just walking. Sometimes when there isn’t anything to do we just go into the woods and walk around.” They walked in silence for a few moments, the laugh of their friends enough to fill the gap. “Plus, we can’t really go into town or Hopper would kill me.”

“I’ve been a few times,” El said. She moved a little faster to get herself to be right beside him. “Hopper’s just crazy.” She smiled at the thought. Mike laughed, making her smile widened.

“I’m sure he’s crazy for a reason. So,” Mike was quick to change the subject, something he did whenever the man was brought up. “It’s been a week, what have you done?” She thought about the past week. Watching commercials, and actually cleaning out some of the clothes that don’t fit her anymore.

“Nothing,” she said. “Starting to get really bored.” Mike nodded his head, his smile slowly disappearing. “But,” She said with a smile, pulling at his hand. “The days I go out, always makes it better.” He looked down at her, a sad smile on his face.

“You will always deserve more,” he said to her. She didn’t quite understand what he meant. Deserve, it was always a weird word to her, something that Hopper talked about a lot. What did she deserve? She had opened the gate, she had caused it all. So how did she deserve anything?

“Guys!” Dustin came running though the field, Will following close behind him. “Let's head to the bus, and then from there make a plan.” Mike gave him a thumbs up, while walking a little fast. He pulled her along, the only sound was the hot wind blowing through the grass, their friends up a head yelling at one another.

This new life, it was weird to her. She didn’t really know who she was, or what it was she was supposed to be doing. She didn’t know what she deserved, who she deserved, but when she was with her friends it all seemed to be a little easier.

He had told her that they were going to eat less burgers and something healthier, better for his heart. It had been a long week of salads, and raw vegetables. El seemed to enjoy it more than he thought she would, but now that it was friday he found himself needing something greasy and artery clogging.

“I didn’t realize how much I needed his burger,” Joyce said taking a big bite covering her mouth with her napkin.

“I’ve been living off of rabbit food all week,” Hopper said stuffing his mouth with fries. “I should have never gotten those magazines for her.” He took a sip from his coke, the caffeine making his headache go away instantly. “She’s even cut back my coffee intake.” Joyce giggled taking a sip of her soda.

“She’s just trying to look out for you,” She said stealing a few of his fries.

“Little does she know it's slowly killing me. I was never meant to live off of lettice and whole grain rice.” he took a bite of his burger, looking through the restaurant. The bar was filled, Joseph had tapped the basketball game from last night, replaying for the guys at the bar.

“Do you know what they’re up to today?” Joyce asked, throwing her napkin down on her plate.

“I think they’re back in the forest. Staying away from roads and just people in general.” He can see a small eye roll from Joyce. “I brought her to the Store last week.” he said in defense.

“Wow.” she said back. “Maybe one day you can take her somewhere fun.”

“Like there is a fun place to go in Hawkins.”

“The arcade is fun,” Joyce said back. “The kids go every wednesday.” The arcade, it was a big subject between him and El. He didn’t feel right letting her go, with so many people, so many kids her age. She asked every week, and every week they sat in silence as she stuffed her face before escaping to be alone in her room.

“I’ve heard about it,” he said softly. “There are just a lot of people there.”

“As opposed to the store?” Joyce questioned him. “I know Sam said a year, but she has to go somewhere at some point. People are going to find it really weird when a girl just shows up out of nowhere, and she happens to be yours.”

“That's why I brought her to the store.” he took another bite of fries. “What's worse is that I got stopped by Stephanie Blunt, who began to ask her a million questions.” Joyce rolled her eyes.

“I’m sure it’s already made its way around town already,” She said with a grimace. “It could be worse, you could have run into Karen.”

“At this point I feel like that wouldn’t matter. Even the guys at work are asking about her.”

“Oh,” Joyce looked down at her watch. She grabbed her purse in haste sifting through its many belongings.

“Don’t worry,” Hopper said. “I’ll take care of it. Just have a good day.” She gave him a small smile, scooting herself out of her booth.

“I’ll get the next one.” She bent down giving him a kiss on his cheek before quickly leaving the bar to got to work. He sat for a moment, watching the guys at the bar yell at the T.V. screen. He looked down at the mess of his plate, feeling guilt in the pit of his stomach.
