This is going to sound like a ridiculous question, but today I was offered to go to a college prep program for six weeks in the summer. I can come home every other weekend, but otherwise, I live on campus. My long distance boyfriend is coming to visit nearby where I live for the summer, and we had planned to see each other as much as we could, I'm not sure what I should do.

well if you can drive to see him every other weekend do that! you’ll still have tons of fun! or ask him to visit you on campus after class. it is only 6 weeks out of all summer!! Do not let your relationship hinder your opportunities for success! :)

-SORRY THIS IS SO LONG- You see, there is a 5 year age gap between my ldr boyfriend and I. We dated for a year, and my mother somehow found out and got really mad at me for it. But I guess she kind of accepted it too since she didn't force me to stop talking to him or anything. Him and I broke up. I told her that... But we got back together, and I'm just scared to tell her because i'm not sure how she'll feel about it.

you should always beware of age gaps as someone dating much younger people could be abusive.  specially being under 18, if you are under 16 you cannot date someone 4 years older, once you are 16 you can date someone up to 5 years older, if you are under 16 and you think its ok since its only an ldr he can still abuse you through the internet. Your mother is right in wanting to protect you and all and you gotta see that. also if you have to hide your relationship from your mother you should probably rethink said relationship. btw im assuming the worst here but things are probably much better between you and him, Just go ahead and tell her, make sure to be sensible, say “i know why you think it’s not ok but..” maybe get her to meet him through skype to make her feel better.
