To this day, I stew in a subdued, yet burning anger about a project from over 11 years ago I helped work on extensively that should have become a full finished pilot. I seethe to myself at the people who headed that production and ran it into the ground after becoming afraid that the "studios would think it wasn't marketable enough to a wider audience" when pitching it and changed the whole thing to then run THAT version into the ground too. I reminisce about what could and should have been from myself and the rest of our incredibly dedicated team of artists who worked their asses off on pre-production, some for the first time, in crafting an animated world full of heart and whimsy only for all that work to crumble for no good reason. And above all else, I hate myself for not fighting harder even though I know I was younger at the time with only minimal experience under my belt. I'm so grateful I ended up on the project I'm still a part of today after the fact when I needed it the most, but I will never, EVER forgive the people who took our whole team for granted and went on with their lives and jobs as if it was nothing to them. Maybe it didn't mean much to you, but it meant something to me and it certainly meant something to so many young artists on that team trying to break into the industry and make art they could be excited and proud of.

Mr. Ring-a-Ding and Brooklyn Bop in... 'Tying Heart Strings'

As I mentioned before in a previous post, my character and Mr. Ring-a-Ding would have this dynamic of enemies to lovers. The dance battle of Devil vs. Chalice in 'The Cuphead Show' inspired me to make this piece.

Auditions are still open for the first season's main cast!

The teaser poster of what will essentially be a three-season fan project. Will add more credits when I have the main cast selected, more music to add, and the official date to when the first season will start.

Auditions are open for the first season, ‘Sly Cooper: Thieving From the Best’. Currently looking for the voice of Cleo Venezuela for the series, and Dimitri for the season.

A good quality microphone and recording software to export the audio files (preferably WAV or MP3 files) are a must. The project details in the link tend to change by the deadline and roles added as episodes progress. Further questions, message me in my DM or the Casting Call Club thread.

This is the OC for Ring-a-Ding's universe: Brooklyn Bop.

I had an idea on giving an enemies-to-lovers trope when it came to Brooklyn and Ring-a-Ding. As I recall, there's a segment in the exclusive magazine that he'd love to tap dance on the roof of a house. And who else do I know that loves to dance in the rubberhose cartoons? Miss Chalice from The Cuphead Show.

The dance contest with Miss Chalice vs The Devil gave me the reference idea needed for the dynamic, but then came the character design. Yes, she almost looks like Wally Darling, however I found this sweetheart swirl style in her hair to be ideal for where she can hide her own antennae (butterfly).
