Hell making a Mary Sue when you’re a newbie is a right of passage! It’s apart of the learning curve! No one starts off riding a bike perfectly the first time; you gotta bust your ass a couple of times before you start getting good at anything!

I am actually so serious I think it really messes with a childs creativity and joy to tell them to never make a mary sue OC. Like that unbridaled form of joy where you make a self insert OC who super cool and everyone loves them and they have every superpower in the world SHOULD be something a kid makes, it nourishes their ability to create things for fun and not be stifled by "oh but what if my character is too overpowered and cringey...". whatever

I've been thinking...

I've been getting back into drawing again and I think I need to do a "soft reset" for myself on tumblr. I need to make a proper art blog for myself and really "organize" things.

I'm going to make a new blog, one specifically for my art and ideas. I've done personal reflection and thanks to talking it out with a few friends of mine in the past (shout out to the fabulous @sumi-sprite ) I found a format of content creation that really works for me.

I like world building and making stories but I always overwhelm myself by making it into a comic. And after years I realize making long form comics aren't my strong point.

Now, making fan fics and inserting my art into it, on the otherhand....that I can do!

So, yeah just random thoughts and a "heads up" to anyone who actually pays attention to this blog!
