Wild: Legend, I'm sorry I broke your sword.
Legend: No, it's fine, I stole it from Four.
Four: Ok one, I wasn't finished cleaning it up. And two, I took it from Warriors.
Warriors: Oh, I got it from Rancher.
Twilight: I borrowed it from Time.
Time: I got it from Hyrule.
Hyrule: Wind gave it to me.
Wind: I remember taking it from you Vet.
Legend:
Legend: You guys are so dead.
Sky: WHERE'S THE MASTER SWORD?!

Now, just hear me out here...
Tumblr media
This scene ain't just a one off joke, it's hinting that something's going on in Skyloft. Something bad.
Tumblr media
The fact that Sky is disappointed implies that every time they've had a visit from the postman he's had a letter from her. The reason this time there's no word isn't because she didn't write, but rather she couldn't write. I'm just saying the boys must have been in town for a while and Dink has been awfully quiet- sure he's been regenerating and all that, but maybe he's moving onto the next phase of his plan.
Maybe in a few chapters the boys will walk through the portal into a war-torn Skyloft destroyed to a level they didn't think Dink was capable of. Sky is freaking out, Warriors is having war flashbacks and everyone's worried about it being a multipronged attack on all their eras. Just a thought :)

OMG thank you for tagging me! :))
5 things: my dumb sense of humour, overactive imagination, ability to easily remember a song but never the lyrics, curiosity and stubbornness.
I don't think I have any other mutuals since I don't really interact with people on this platform. I'd like to do that more though.
when you get this you have to answer with 5 things you like about yourself, publicly. then, send this ask to 10 of your favorite mutuals! (If you have less than 10... I dunno do what you want haha)
Hmm...
I like my analytical abilities, creativity, my hair color, how I'm managed to cut down on lies until the only ones I really seem to tell are accidental ones, &... my capabilities in descriptive writing.

I thought Time was the straight main to the chain's shenanigans but in reality he used to be just like them and so doesn't personally see anything really wrong with their behaviour.
Tumblr media
However where he's matured into simply acknowledging the outsider 'normal' view, Warriors internalised it before even donning the hero's scarf and has always been too conscious of how he's perceived.
I think I've said it before but Warriors didn't have a traditional adventure like the others, cities and towns aren't just pitstops for him so he respects infrastructure and social decorum. Plus he's used to minding his reputation and maintaining his perfect image. Whereas most of the others had the freedom to act pretty much like cryptids, showing up out of nowhere, spawning local legends and then disappearing after doing only slightly more good than harm.
Even without that pressure Warriors is still holding himself to that standard and even extended it over the others. Had they actually done something weird Time would've have called them out on it, but he didn't in this case because a bit of parkour is like...fine? It's really not that big a deal. They didn't break anything. I just find this aspect of the Captain's character interesting.

This post is a little gory, reader discretion is advised.
Sky: Would you help me hide a body?
Hyrule: No I am not helping you! I want nothing to do with this!
Hyrule: [curious] ...But why? Is hiding bodies a fad in society now? Dang I'm really out of touch.
Sky: In what Hyrule is that a fad?!
Wild: [coughs]
Time: [sighing] I'm always cleaning up after you boys.
Sky: Wait Old man it was just—
Time: [pulling a trash bag from his adventure pouch] Where is it?
Wild: Hide...a body? O-Okay sure, I'll help you...
Wild: [muttering] Oh but not all of it I'm sure I could find uses for at least a few of the body parts...
Wind: [thumb up] Yeah of course! We'll just toss it into the ocean.
Sky: Ok but what if the Hyrule was landlocked...?
Wind: What if what? I'm a pirate.
Sky: Is that really how it works?!
Warriors: [polishing his sword] Huh? Dispose of a body? I can do that.
Sky: You...can?
Warriors: [glancing at his reflection] Eliminating traitors is a bit sporadic with its state funding so, I've had to get my hands dirty.
Sky: ...oh buddy.
Legend: Whose body is it? Under what circumstance? Who did the killing?
Legend: Sorry, I need to know if I should do it with enthusiasm or not.
Sky: [voice crack] Ledge...
Legend: Well I'm sorry, you keep telling me to find joys in life. I am trying!
Twilight: A-A body?! W-Why would you want me to...?!
Twilight: Wait, this one of Wild's pranks? Is he in that bush with his Sheikah Slate?
Four: [deadpan] Here's a list of ten efficient ways to dispose of a body.
Four: [very deadpan] It was my best self study project when I was a kid.
Four: [we all know this is Vio talking] The example body wasn't human, but that can't be too different.
Sky: [disturbed] ...No you can have it back. That question was just...
Warriors: [dutiful in improving his craft] Great can I have it?
Sky: Ok this is the last hypothetical! Between Wind's magic box thought experiment, Four's out of context question and this?! We're clearly really bad at these.
Twilight: Not sure what kind of responses you were expecting with that one to be honest.
Sky: ...You're right this one's on me.
~~~
Thanks for reading! Based off this
Sky got the fun hypothetical question from a friendly bar patron.
Wild coughed in that first one because with the restoration of his Hyrule ground in Hyrule field is being built on and, well, they are unearthing a lot of 100 year old skeletons. Not exactly hiding bodies, but...
I think this change happens over only a few days and he was in rabbit form for an afternoon. I would suggest Twilight's marks were once like that too, but considering he was in wolf form for days if not weeks at the start of his adventure and how often he switches form now his marks are essentially permanent. Even if he swore to never transform again.
Dawn part 7 analysis:
Tumblr media
Which one? Either Legend or Hyrule interrupted Sky with that impression given he turned in their direction. Money's on Legend, his face suggests mischief.
Tumblr media
^Speaking of, Jojo's sister drew this!
Tumblr media
How did Sky see the postman to into the portal since he got a huge head start? Unless the postman had to follow some specific route (his eyes are closed which is kinda weird. is he possessed?), I'm thinking he delivered mail elsewhere before leaving this era. So the postman has other inter-timeline letter customers confirmed??
Tumblr media
I would say Wind's face is just him expressing disgust over Dink being alive, but the fact that he's throwing specifically Sky his shade makes me thinks he's salty he's drinking his stamina potion or maybe the last they have.
The Chain and spending money
Time
The cautious. The man is helping run a ranch, funds and expenditure is one of those routine things constantly circling through his mind even while adventuring. He used to be pretty irresponsible with his money when he was young but marriage and actual responsibilities outside of nebulous heroics has made him, well, cautious. He has a future to plan for and what is essentially a business to co run.
Warriors
The extravagant. Due to the nature of his job he's never had time for small shopping trips and thus saves up and spends a huge amount on one of his rare off days. He's a confident spender, if he wants something he'll get it without regret. He's also the type to persuade whoever he's shopping with to purchase things he thinks they'll like.
Twilight
The boring. There's not much really to talk about here, growing up in simplicity means he doesn't really need lots of stuff and always content with what he has, never really feeling the need to buy more. Even window shopping doesn't appeal to him really. If you want it get it, don't stand around imagining what it would be like to have it.
Sky
The generous. He can't help thinking of others when shopping and will always grab a little something for the people he cares about. As a crafter himself he loves to support small local businesses and will be generously spending at any village market day.
Legend
The picky. Probably out of all of them has the best judgement of an object's worth, so when he spends his money you know it's for something really good. Not that he has to much these days, he is that one friend who no only has everything but is extremely picky and thus impossible to shop for.
Wild
The distracted. Always has some goal in mind when he enters a market, looking for things like new ingredients or clothes. And he will always complete that shopping list, after 3 hours, along with a shopping cart's stuff of other things he didn't plan on buying.
Four
The investor. He plans for everything, business and personal expenditure. Very practical too, he's not one to really spend money on things specifically for himself because getting all the colours to agree on something is like expecting Ganondorf to water the palace garden flowers the next time he invades Hyrule Castle.
Hyrule
The thoughtless. Is so used to foraging and finding what he needs that, when presented with the option to shop, if he doesn't have a crystal clear idea of what he's going to get he will spend his hard found rupees on stuff he doesn't need. He's the opposite of Legend, with no understanding or care for an object's worth outside of battle and adventuring.
He's also the most likely to get cheated into investing in a pyramid scheme or buying this 'incredible never before seen' product if approached in the marketplace.
Wind
The haggler. If he finds something he wants at a market he'd much rather trade it for something he has and haggle like there's no tomorrow; he loves to spin tall tales about how he acquired the things he wants to trade...even if more often than not one of the chain's items he 'bought' from them (meaning he took it and left rupees in its place).
What guns do you think the Chain would have? This has been bouncing in my head endlessly for the past day and I can't pick a solid answer for any of the chain. At most I've gotten that Wind has 10 flintlocks strapped to him at all times.
Why was I asked this? Why did I research for this? This is probably the closest I'll ever get to the other side of the Atlantic without physically going transatlantic. Anyway I've played a few horror games, lemme take a crack at this:
The Chain's choice of Firearm
Time, making sure most of the targets are taken out before any of his boys needs to pull the trigger, suites a grenade launcher.
Imagine some kind of archaic medieval fantasy assault rifle for Warriors. I was thinking maybe a simple more elegant gun but then I remembered this guy wields a broadsword not a rapier for a reason. He duels yes, but more so clears huge waves of enemies in fights. This gun has a high firing rate for just that, allowing him to lead the charge.
Twilight gets the shot gun. Simple as. It's been used by farmers anywhere and everywhere to protect their crops and animals. As a excellent marksman he has the skill to use its large spread with precision.
The simple pistol for Sky. He'd carry it on him but would only draw it as a last resort. He doesn't strike me as the type to shoot...in any context really.
Legend wouldn't have a gun. I mean, he'd have maybe a PDW for emergencies, but I see him as the ammo guy who also have all the extra parts needed for repair or customisation.
Sniper Wild gets a sniper rifle. Stays out of the way, backing up the rest up with his perfect shots, in both timing and placement. He's also able to quickly change his location when he may have been found out or when he needs a better lineup.
Four best suits the revolver. He's very good with this weapon; keeping track of how many bullets he's working with and the slow reload requires him to think ahead and not shoot blindly.
Not sure if such a thing exists but Hyrule would have a kind of gun that's able to be customised on the dime. A scavenger used to variety wouldn't have the patience for just one type of weapon.
Apparently flamethrowers are classed as a firearm? Wind gets one of these; sorry anon kid isn't getting a gun...but, hey if he's able to steal a flintlock from Legend's stash um sure.
~~~
Thanks for reading. I hope I don't get put on a watchlist...

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Let's hope it's not a windy day
They all look happy and curious here so this is probably a fun show and tell thing and not a worried check of items because they suspect they may have been robbed
Most of the items are Legend's, most of the materials are Wild's
Not Wind trying to convince Twi to let him take the spinner out for a...spin
Sky must have seen that dragon scale right? Why is he not furiously head-hunting the poacher?
The Vio in Four reaching out for them books. Hey, he even took off his keystone chain thing, guess the others took of all their accessories?
That hunk of meat above the ladder is Hyrule's isn't it? Four is 100% gonna yeet it when he's not looking
Love how there are all these incredible fantasy weapons, then there's a normal looking ladder, shovel and just a pair of flippers
Therapy Frog lives! The little amphibious boyo who saw Wild monologue! Look at his dumb little smile! Straight vibing. Jojo being him back in future chapters pls

Wild: [eyeing the looks of the others] You think my plan is crazy.
Time: Didn’t say that…but wouldn’t rule it out.
Legend: [scoffing] You kidding?! I don’t think there could be a crazier plan.
Four: [suddenly] We attack the Shadow with hummus.
The chain: [stares in silence]
Four: Just putting things in perspective.
