yesterday in italy was national holiday, every year on april 25 we celebrate the liberation from the nazi fascist regime. as usual, i’ve seen scenes on my tv from various protests/manifestations around the country, declarations of politicians etc that made me deeply ashamed of being born here. i don’t know what disgusted me more - the pro israel vs pro palestine clashes that used a national holiday to create chaos, the manifestations against ukraine with the usual “ukron*zi” propaganda, our own politicians currently governing that refused to pronounce the word “antifascism”, but also those that said that antifascism = extremism, that the holiday has been hijacked by the “communist left” so now the left is fascist…? i don’t even know. the level of gaslighting in this country is astounding, we are finished.

and you know i could go on about how we are being progressively denied free healthcare (which is our constitutional right), the government used EU funds to put “pro-life” fanatics in our “consultori” - which are kinda our version of planned parenthood clinics - so abortions rights are at risk….but that’s a rant for another day.

one of the things i keep dreaming and wanting and wishing in ts4 is a toddler activity table ts2/ts3 style.

ts2 specifically.

one of my faves things everrrr in ts2 is having toddlers draw pictures with crayons and then display the art on my sims' houses walls. ts3 did me dirty by having yes an activity table...but with faux papers and crayons, toddlers can only play with blocks. it peeves me immensely, i never got over it.

then even worse, in ts4 toddlers can only draw with a tablet and i believe that there's life outside of a tablet...so i caved and got the "toddler drawing supply" mod, probably the only custom animation i'll allow in my game. i love it, totes recommend.

(also...that little girly up here is darcy, kaleb's daughter :') i think in the posts i shared he's still a child...i am waaay ahead in his life - he is now a married man with a daughter and FIVE CATS. yes. i may have miscalculated a couple of things. maybe i'll share in the future :D)

i genuinely hope that boop day inspires everyone to interact more with other tumblr users. because it’s clearly way more fun this way!! even once the boop button is gone, there’s still asks, tag and ask games, comments, dms, fuck it let’s bring back blog rates i don’t care. part of the reason that tumblr is dying is that its way less social than it used to be. let’s fix that!!

after 2 hours i've finally figured this out, with the mouse click and keep pressed the boop or the paw icon on a blog until it flips at least 3 times, release, AND U SHALL EVIL BOOP

it’s 4 am jeez but it works on mobile too, web version at least. long press and release to super boop, even longer press and release to evil boop.
