anshel's nightmare i haven't finished, but hope to redo some day. / december 2022

my body flies unrestrained over the roofs of the city that willingly let go of me. at the bottom, i see small faces that become alienated with each additional meter of altitude. my body whirls, i cannot control my ascent, it spins me back and forth like a tossed-up, lifeless doll. the world has spun around me or the other way around, the former seems too egocentric to me. and so it drags me through the sky. i don't meet any god, where is he? not even flying creatures like birds encounter me. why am I alone - my troubled mind thinks, before my shirt gets caught on the dome of a temple and my skull crashes with all its accumulated speed against the adjacent tower.

Hello! Do you ever plan to do commissions? If so, what do you imagine your prices would be?

greetings! i have never done any commissions yet, but at some point i would like to open them. i'd have to look into payment-options / prices would depend on the difficulty/workload – but i am not sure what the range could be. if anyone is more experienced, please let me know :^)

insights into my work from the arts-leistungskurs ("a-levels") i had from 2022 to 2024. i miss it dearly, now that i study germanistics/history.

subjects ranged from surrealism, landscapes and illustration – and i often implemented my dear ocs, to the point my teacher knew them by name.

over the graveyard

this year's valentine's-card for my dear @sepulkralkreatur pays homage to an incident, in which we got locked in the local cemetery after forgetting the time at one of our dates. my partner remained rather calm, while i panicked at the thought of getting in possible trouble.

after calling the police to avoid the picture of us as incompetent burglars - they guided us over a wall. i wish next time this happens, we can float over the fence like marc chagall's luftmenschen (over the town / 1918), instead of embarrassingly sliding down into bushes, almost ripping pants and skirt.

gorgeous work -- reminds me so much of leela corman's unterzakhn, if you've ever heard of it. i know it's not exactly a comic but i'm in the indie comics scene and if you're not already, consider exhibiting at shows like MICE when you feel ready -- this would make a real splash there.

firstly - thank you so so dearly, whoever you are, you just made my day! i have never heard of leela corman's work, just searched up her comic, and i am in love!!! it is a honor you compare our creations 🤍 and i am based in germany, but i believe conventions are still a thing here. however i am a full-time uni-student, art takes up only a little percentage of my life and i am far away from being a professional... maybe some day i'll have made enough art to partake in some sort of event. thank you for your encouraging words, zay gezunt dear anon!
