when you grew up as a lonely uncool girl it will never stop haunting you by the way. you will meet a cool person at a bar or the train station or at a friend's party and you can wear your most stylish outfit and striking eye makeup and you will swear that they can see through all of the facade and see the lonely terribly insecure teenage girl you used to be who desperately wanted to connect and you will swear that they know that there is like an insurmountable gap between you. this will happen forever

Perfectionism + overthinking is a sickness for the creative mind.

I wanted to post a book review on instagram (and here) and I have everything I want to write on paper in my hands and yet I still cannot force myself to make the said post. I keep thinking I have to do it and the more I think about it the less I want to do it. If I could just write a block of text it would be a no brainer but thinking of how to make it look pretty and engaging feels overwhelming. I want to do it but I can't force myself and I hate that.

I read George Orwell's 1984 a couple of days ago and tbh the final sentence of the book haunts me still.

As my friend told me once "you're not born hateful, you choose to be hateful" and it sickens me that in a world where humanity is able to feel and express love, they purposefully choose to hate.

If after all of this you STILL choose to buy Harry Potter merch and recommend the books or movies, you CHOOSE to be hateful.

There are better books/movies out there, find another comfort story.

Oh, and by the way, that Supreme Court ruling is where that Harry Potter money goes.
