🌍✨ A Voice from Gaza: Fighting for Hope ❤️🩹
Hi, my name is Mosab , and I’m from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.
This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.

Our Journey So Far
When I first reached out, I couldn’t have imagined we’d make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.
But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.
Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:
🏠 Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us.
😢 Loss: The absence of the 25 family members we’ve lost is a pain we carry every moment.
💔 Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
$5 may seem small, but for us, it’s a little relief, a moment of comfort, and a reminder that kindness still exists. ❤️
Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.
✅️ Vetted by @gazavetters ( #309 ) ✅️
Why Your Support Matters Your kindness isn’t just about helping us meet our goal—it’s about reminding us that we’re not alone in this fight. It’s about hope. It’s about survival. And it’s about giving my family a chance to rebuild our lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.
Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
With all my love and gratitude,
Mosab and Family ❤️

⊹₊⟡⋆ 𝟗:𝟏𝟕 𝐏𝐌; GOJO SATORU

gojo was so tired of being the strongest. so tired of pretending nothing ever got to him.
his body felt like it could break at any moment as he made his way back to his apartment, every step heavier than the last. the mission had been hell. his body hurts in places he didn’t know existed. his usual cocky stride was gone, replaced with a stiffness that made him feel like a damn robot.
when he opened the door, he didn’t expect to see you.
you looked up from the couch, frowning at him. “satoru?”
he blinked slowly, trying to shake off the fog.
“did we have a date planned?” he asked. his voice was rough, barely more than a rasp. he hadn’t messaged you, hadn’t checked his phone—hell—he didn’t even know if he’d eaten in the past few days.
you didn’t get angry like he expected. no eye rolls, no snarky comments, no judgment like his previous relationships. instead you just stood up, and moved towards him with that careful, knowing grace. almost as if you could sense he was about to crumble.
“c’mere.”
he didn’t hesitate, stepping forward until he felt your warmth at his side. you guided him with a steady hand towards the bathroom. in that moment gojo felt as if your touch was the only thing melting him up when all he wanted to do was collapse.
his whole life, people had leaned on him—looked to him for strength. with you he here taking care of him, he felt like is was finally his turn. you treated him like he was human, not some untouchable weapon. and that’s what made him feel like maybe he wasn’t just a tool, maybe he mattered outside of his strength.
once you helped settle him on the toilet seat gojo gently held yours hips as you stepped between his legs and gently removed his blindfold. he sighed and leaned into your stomach when you scratched his scalp.
soon the soft splashing of water filled the room as you. he watched you everything you did with low eyes. if he wasn’t so tired he would’ve had had his hands all over you.
when you turned back to him your hands reaching for the hem of his shirt—he didn’t protest. you just gently slid the fabric off, your fingers brushing his sensitive sides.
you cupped his checks and tilted his face towards your own. “did you eat today?” your voice was so quiet almost completely drowned out by the sound of the tub.
he chuckled into you hand but it didn’t carry the usual lightness. “don’ remember.”
you sighed, shaking your head as you pushed his soft locks off his face. “you never take care of yourself toru.”
his lips curved into a half-smirk. “that’s what I have you for, huh?”
you didn’t laugh, didn’t tease him back like you usually would. instead, you just gave him that look—the one that made his chest tighten. the one that saw through his tough exterior without even trying.
“get in.”
he sank into the tub, the warmth cascading all over his sore muscles in a way they made him groan. a shaky breath escaped his lips when you places his head in your lap from your place on the edge. and finally, with silver strands sticking to his forehead, bags underneath his eyes, head in your lap—gojos body finally relaxed for the first time in what felt like forever.
he was on the verge of sleep when he felt you stand.
his fingers twitched over the rim of the tub. “stay.” it wasn’t a command, wasn’t playful. just quiet. unsure. like he was afraid to ask.
you paused for a moment, but then you stripped and stepped in behind him, the water shifting with your weight. when your arms wrapped around him, pulling his back against you, he felt himself melting into the embrace.
your fingers slid back into his hair, massaging gently, your nails grazing his scalp in a way that made his whole body relax under your touch. you other hand was drawing small shapes into his chest.
no one had ever touched him like this. no one ever cared without expecting something in return.
“toru,” you whispered, lips brushing against his temple “you don’t have to do everything alone.”
his fingers curled around your wrist, holding you close, as if anchoring himself to you. “don’t go anywhere,” he whispered.
you pressed a soft kiss to his hair. “I won’t. never.”
his world had always been too loud. too fast. too demanding—but with you here, everything slowed. everything quieted.
he let himself sink into it—let himself need you. and, for the first time since he could remember, he felt was it was like to be loved unconditionally.

Pathetic piner!Gojo has loved you all his life. You’ve been best friends since you were in diapers and even though he didn’t know what love was at the ripe old age of two weeks, he knew, you were the one.
Pathetic piner!Gojo lucked out when you two had gotten drunk during some stupid college party and you kissed him. Sure, you thought he was someone else, but a kiss was a kiss, until it turned into more.
That ‘more’ was the best night of his life; he gotten to see sides of you he had only ever dreamed about, tasted inches of your skin he never thought he’d feel, and best of all?
He made you feel good.
Maybe not as good as you made him feel but every time after that, he had worked hard to bring you closer and closer until you could share that feeling that’s been brewing in his heart since.
Pathetic piner!Gojo wasn’t the biggest fan of the arrangement you two had began — he wanted more, craved more, but he didn’t dare push you. He’d lose his mind if that ever happened. So, instead, he told himself it was enough. He was your best friend, you trusted him with everything, you shared memories no one else could ever have, and you were in his bed practically every night. No one could replace him.
And. That. Was. Enough.
But…
You would do things that made him hopeful. When you brushed his hair back, adjusted his sunglasses, and called him ‘pretty.’ Things that threatened to pull his heart right out of his ribcage so he could give it to you. These were things that made him special. It must have been a sign of love, the kind that he feels, the obsessive, all-consuming, manic love.
Right?
Why is it then, that he’s watching a guy leave your apartment just as he’s carrying a bag full of takeout to surprise you with?
Pathetic piner!Gojo rushes to your room and bangs the door much louder than he’d like but he can’t seem to care about it. And when you open said door and come out, surprised and concerned, the words that leave his quivering lips are drowned out by the tears that are falling from his eyes.
Pathetic piner!Gojo asks, voice rough and distorted, “Did you sleep with him? Do you love him?”
Thoroughly confused, you can only reply with an ‘uh, no?’
His laugh isn’t one you recognise. It’s mean and scathing but not at you. No, never at you.
“Satoru, that was just a classmate dropping off some notes. What’s wrong?”
Pathetic piner!Gojo rambles on and it’s as if he can’t hear you. “So then why don’t you want to date me? Why don’t you love me the way I love you? Do you even have any idea how I feel? Baby, I feel like I’m dying. Like someone’s just torn a hole through my chest. I can’t sleep. I can’t eat or breathe or live! P-please…just give me a chance. I’ll be good.”
Pathetic piner!Gojo is baffled when you start laughing. His tears pause mid-way and he even feels the tips of his ears burning despite not knowing why exactly he should feel embarrassed.
“Toru! You actual idiot. I thought we’ve been dating all this time.”
Pathetic piner!Gojo says, “Oh.”
“Get in, loser. We’re gonna have to have a talk.”
And despite the stern tone of your voice, Pathetic piner!Gojo smiles and skips inside your apartment feeling mighty good about himself.
Until, of course, he realises he dropped the takeout.

This is too adorable 🥹
Based off of THIS ADORABLE VIDEO OMG—
As soon as you walk into your daughter’s room, the first thing you notice is her empty bed. The Bluey blankets that were once warmly protecting her are now thrown to the floor haphazardly, and her Bingo plushie is long forgotten about on the floor. An immediate feeling of worry washes over you, so the first place you go is your and your husband’s shared bedroom.
“My love, where is—“
Your words cut off as soon as you spot two heads of fluffy white hair in your bed, a feeling of relief washing over you; at least you know where your daughter is now…
“Toru,” you lean over the bed, careful not to wake your little angle who’s sleeping cuddled against her dad’s chest, “Toru wake up.”
Satoru’s crystal eyes shoot open as soon as he feels your hand brush against the arm he’s using to hold your daughter against his chest. “Hm?” He hums sleepily, looking around as if he’d just taken a century long nap.
“My love,” you say, trying not to giggle, “we need to put her to bed.”
It takes a moment for Satoru to process your words, but once he does, a frown immediately appears on his face. “Nooo, we’re sleeping,” he mumbles, lying his head back down on his pillow.
“Baby, she needs to sleep in her own bed, remember?”
“Who made that rule?”
“We did,” you can’t help but laugh.
Satoru’s sleepy eyes look between you and the sleeping toddler in his arms, his expression resembling that of a man making the hardest decision he’s ever had to make.
“But she looks so precious…let her sleep,” he begs you.
You cock your head to the side, exhaling a huff of amusement. “I know she does, but she needs to sleep in her own—“
“Her own bed, yeah, yeah, yeah,” he meekly waves you off, “but she’s safe here. I’ll put her back tomorrow…”
“Toru, you’re not even making sense anymore,” you sigh, slipping under the covers to cuddle up to them, “just go to sleep, dork.”

Gojo's wife is calm, collected and well all around mature, much like Nanami. So when someone was taken by surprise that your last name was Gojo and not Nanami, that was the first time Satoru Gojo felt true heart break, his throat closed up and he thought he was about to blast this person into the sun. Is this what seeing red is like?
Buut of course his very sweet and understanding wife, simply placed herself into his side, hand pressing against his chest running it up and down as you say gently.
'Nope, this tall handsome fella is my husband.'
With the proudest smile on your face Satoru couldn't stay upset for long especially when you looked up at him with those soft eyes, he hooks his arm around your waist before standing up straighter a smile spreading across his lips, a cheeky smile some would say, as he responded with.
'That's right.'

Perfume (pt 3)

There's that floral smell again. It's the first thing you notice, like a hand reaching out to you from reality. You take it, holding on tight. You're ready to come home.
Your other senses follow suit. There's a soft mattress below you, a cover like a cloud covers you. You're warm, in a cozy kind of way, and the covers beneath you rustle softly as you attempt to move- a gasp follows. You try and recognise the voice but can't seem to concentrate right now.
Finally, you open your eyes, and the real world comes into focus again. Blurry light immediately floods your vision and you have to squint. But soon you start to make out familar shapes, colour floods your world.
You're surrounded by flowers. Bouquets of your favourites flood every visible surface, and you might've thought you were in a meadow were it not for the familiar bed and furniture surrounding you.
You're in the medical rooms of Jujutsu Tech. That's right. You were on that mission, and then the wretched cursed spirit managed to trap you in your mind. There's a sinking feeling in your stomach as you realise you must've worried everyone.
When you try and move your limbs they feel weak, almost foreign to you. Your entire body feels stiff. Just how long were you out for...?
Someone's calling you name.
"Hey... hey can you hear me? Are you alright?"
You move your head slightly to find Shoko by your bedside, examining you with a concerned expression. Your heart clenches at the worry in your friends eyes.
"Sho...?" you croak out. Your own voice is a foreign thing.
She only chuckles, shaking her head slightly. "I knew you'd come back."
You try and speak again, but this time no noise comes out. Your heart races, why can't you move? Why can't you talk?
You felt like you were out for a day, possibly two. But then why can't you control your body? Just how long were you out?
"Don't put unnecessary strain on yourself." Shoko tells you. "I know you're confused, it will pass. You'll regain control of your body gradually." You watch her put a hand on your shoulder, but the sensation of touch takes a while to register. You feel even more afraid now.
"I'll help you every step of the way, okay?"
She's saying something else now, but you can't hear her anymore. Your eyelids feel heavy, and though you fight it, the darkness pulls you under again.
Rest. Yes. You need to rest.
The next two days are exactly the same. You wake up, try to move, get a few words out, and then you sleep again. But you're making progress, slowly managing longer conversations ever so slowly.
Shoko kept true to her word, she's been here every time you've awoken, she has not left your side. You've found out from her that you were gone for 3 months. It's still processing in your mind, how you could've missed so much time. It's a sickening, dreadful sort of feeling. One you haven't quite come to terms with.
No one else has come yet. Shoko is probably trying not to stress you. But you've noticed all the cards left for you. Some from your friends, others from your students. And an overwhelming amount from one very important person.
You've noticed his absence of course, but you try not to let it discourage you. You've seen the flowers around the room, the sea of gift bags along the floor. There was a white teddy bear next to you when you woke up, and you noticed you were tucked in with your favourite blanket from home.
There's no doubt he's been here. Clearly he's spent a lot of time here. He hasn't abandoned you.
On the evening of the second day, you finally manage the words to ask Shoko.
"S'toru.. where is he..?" Your voice is getting better now, you're making good progress.
"He was sent on an overseas mission just before you woke up." Shoko explains. She's writing something down in a notebook, you watch her hands move quickly along the paper. "Trust me, it was a massive argument between him and the higher ups. He didn't want to leave. But I've called to tell him you're awake, he's likely already on his way"
That makes you smile, he's coming back. Something burns in your chest. It's the same kind of determination you used to beat the cursed spirit. You'll be better by the time he comes back, you'll make even more progress.
Shoko seems to notice the fire in your eyes, she returns your smile. "Let's try sitting up next, yeah?"
The next day you're reading sentences out loud from a sheet of paper, getting used to your voice again, to forming full sentences. You've managed to sit up by now, and you've been moving your legs slightly- building up to standing again.
There's no one in the room but you right now. Shoko had other things to attend to, she's still at work after all. But you know she's only a call away.
"Dogs are better than rabbits, but rabbits are better than snakes-" You pause, musing to yourself. "What...? Who wrote these?"
That's when you hear a commotion down the hallway outside your room. Two sets of loud footsteps, walking fast. They're talking in raised voices, but you can't quite make out the words.
Your attention is immediately swayed, the earlier task all but forgotten. And you listen carefully as their voices become clearer.
"You have to stay calm or you'll stress her unessersaily."
"I am calm!"
"Sure. Clearly you are. Because this is how a calm person acts."
"I don't have the time for this-"
The door to your room swings open.
Your eyes instantly meet his. And you find yourself enraptured by a stormy blue ocean of emotions. He stops in the doorway, as if unable to move.
Not that you can either. Time stops entirely, and you take him in. Satoru. Your Satoru. He's home.
Your relief is quickly replaced with concern as your eyes trail along his form. His hair is dishevelled, and dark bags have formed under his eyes from a lack of sleep. He's trembling, his uniform is messy and unironed, and he's not wearing a blindfold so his head is probably already hurting.
Tears well in your eyes, for what he must've been through these past few months.
Perceptive as ever, he instantly notices.
"Nonono- Angel, I'm sorry, don't cry-" Satoru moves in towards you, wrapping his arms around you ever so gently. Like you're a porcelain doll that might break at any moment. On your end, you hold him so tight you feel like you might squeeze the air out of him.
Shoko stands at the doorway, making sure you're okay and that he's not causing you trouble, before deciding its safe to leave you alone. There's a gentle sound as she closes the door.
Satoru nuzzles your shoulder, white hair ticking your jawline. He breathes out your name like a prayer, like you're the only thing that exists.
You can't help the tears that flow from your eyes.
"I'm sorry-" you try to say, but it comes out as a sob.
He looks up, meeting your eyes. "Sorry? Why are you apologising?" His hands come up to hold your cheeks, brushing your tears away with his thumb.
"For making you worry..." You mutter out.
"Never-" Satoru shakes his head "and I mean never ever apologise. Okay? I should be on my knees thanking you for coming back."
He starts to crouch down, earning a laugh from you in the midst of your tears. He's always known how to make you smile.
"Please don't do that." You say.
He smiles, straightening up again. "There she is."
Then he's holding you again, tighter this time. You lean against his firm chest, feeling like you're home as you listen to the steady heartbeat you've grown so familiar to.
You're both quiet for a moment. Content with each other's presence. He's your peace, and your warmth, and the steady shelter in the middle of your storm. Your entire world. And you know, by the way he holds you, that you're his too.
"Toru..?"
Theres a pause before he answers. "Hm?"
"Did you have to get so many flowers?" You ask.
"Yes-" He starts to say, but his voice breaks. You don't need to look up to know he's crying. You just let him.
"It's okay... I'm back now, it's alright." You reassure him softly.
"M' sorry Angel..." He breathes out. "Its just... its been too long since I heard your voice..."
You hug him tighter, letting out a calm sigh. Theres a strange scent on his shirt. One that's familiar, but you can't quite place it.
"Well.. you'd better get ready for me to talk your ear off." You say to lighten the mood. Your nose scrunches slightly. What is that smell?
"I'd like nothing more." He says. You finally look up to find red puffy eyes staring back at you. Its unfair, even like this he's still irresistible. His eyes carefully study your features, like he's mapping them to memory. There's a glint of concern in the midst of the azure, and you wonder for the first time what you look like now.
You're probably weaker, undoubtedly more frail from the lack of movement. Does he like what he sees? Does he recognise you? Maybe he doesn't even know what to make of you. Your heart threatens to beat out of your chest.
As if sensing your concern, he kisses your forehead.
"I love you... so much. You know that right? You're everything to me."
You don't hesitate to respond. "I love you too."
He smiles, leaning down to kiss you. After all this time, he needs this. But just before your lips can meet, you pull back slightly to ask.
"Toru, why do you smell like my perfume?"
Pt 1 Pt 2
And that concludes Perfume! Thank you so so much to everyone who read it and followed the series! When I started this I didn't intend to write more than one part, but you all inspired me. I sincerely hope you enjoyed the ending 🩵
You already know the drill - not proofread, please don't point out my mistakes.
You're all amazing 🩵

Perfume (pt 2)

Satoru has been quiet today. Gone is the usual chatter, the jokes about how his day went. He watches you silently, eyes swimming with a well of emotions.
Every so often, he opens his mouth like he's going to say something. Only to pause, and retreat back into himself.
Life without you for this long has left him broken. He is tired, a husk of a man just going through the motions of daily life. Every day that he wakes without you by his side, he feels a deep, agonising pain in his chest. Like someone has taken out a vital organ and he's fighting to survive.
But he puts on a brave face, for his students, for his friends. For you. He talks to you in a happy tone whenever he visits, just in case you can hear him. Because he doesn't want you to worry unnecessarily.
Though, knowing you, you'd see right through his act.
His eyes trail across the room to the window, he can't tell you this. At least not while he looks at you.
"I had another meeting with the higher ups today.."
Again, hes met with silence. The only response is the gentle sound of your breathing. He has no idea if you're listening but he goes on.
"It's been three months without you now. In case you haven't been keeping track." There's a chuckle, but there's no humour behind it. Rather it's a dark, hopeless sound. "I've been refusing all overseas missions, how can I go anywhere knowing you're...." he can't find the right words. You're not exactly hurt, there's no physical injuries on you. Sleeping seems too simple. Coma too medical -and saying it out loud would make this nightmare too real.
His crystal eyes flit back towards you, only to move down to the floor.
"The pressure built up. They've ordered me to go. I'll be leaving tomorrow, and I'll be gone a week."
"But don't worry. You won't be alone. Everyone promised they'd come to visit you, I made sure of it. I wouldn't want my angel to get lonely without me, yeah?" Satoru tries another chuckle, but this one comes out more like a sob, and he quickly covers his mouth.
He's torn up. He doesn't want to leave your bedside, he'd rather watch the world burn than leave your side. But duty calls, and your friends promised they'd be here. Shoko promised she'd keep him updated too, in case there were any changes.
Satoru is quiet for a little longer, looking at you now, the way your pretty lashes brush against your skin, the way your lips part ever so gently. You're so beautiful it hurts, and the guilt in his stomach is making him feel sick. But he has to go.
Finally, he gets up, brushing a soft kiss against your forehead. He refuses to say goodbye. In his mind, he'll be right back. Instead, he says.
"I love you."
Its not enough to describe the way he feels.
There are so many stairs. Too many stairs. You've gone up at least five thousand steps so far- in a winding tower that seems to stretch for eternity. But you're not tired. Because your physical form isn't here.
You've managed to figure out that this endless tower must be your consciousness. Every time you open a door, a different memory plays out in front of you like a scene in a play, and you quickly close it. The stones are strong, rough and cold. They've been through a lot, but will no doubt last for years to come.
Though you can't figure out where that floral smell is coming from.
You're not here to relive your memories though. You're not here by choice at all. By now you've figured out you're a prisoner in your own mind. And your captor..?
You hear it every so often, a distant growl, followed by a crack.
Tick.
Tick.
BANG.
The sound is one of a wall being broken, and your head pounds, like you've lost some vital part of your very being.
The cursed spirit has somehow managed to trap you within your own consciousness. And it actively seems to be attempting to destroy your mind, your memories.
A weaker person would've succumbed by now, faded into nothing. But you're fighting it. For each mental brick knocked down you put up another. This will not be your end. You will survive. You have to.
You have too much to lose.
If only you could find the wretched creature and finally exorcise it.
You pause to listen, leaning your back against the cold stone wall of the tower. Time passes weirdly in here and you're sure by now people in the real world must be getting worried about you. Your guess is that you must've been in here for at least an entire day.
Tick.
Tick.
Crack.
BANG.
Its not use. No matter how far you ascend it always sounds like it's coming from above you. Yet when you look up you're only met with more stairs, fading away into unknown darkness. Your gaze falls downwards instead, into the void from which you came- the stairs you've already climbed. It would be so easy to give in.. to just go back down.
The darkness beckons you. It's warm arms wrap around your limbs, it's peaceful silence calling out to you. And you feel yourself stepping towards it. But then something catches your eye.
An elaborate ring on your left hand, glimmering in the darkness. Aquamarine, like a certain pair of eyes as familiar to you as the sky, a sight like an endless ocean, your favourite sight in the world. A smile. A voice.
"I love you"
His voice. It rings out across the empty space. You stop moving.
Satoru... You can't give up. Not when he's waiting for you.
Youre sprinting across the stairs now, faster and faster. Weightless with your new found determination. Theres no pain, no fear. You'll survive because you have to.
Finally there's a light, the tower opens at the top into a rotunda- nothing but an endless, cloudless sky stretching beyond. This must be it, the very core of your soul.
A hiss sounds behind you, and you whip around, already ready to attack.
You will survive.
Satoru gets back from a long day of trying to track down a special grade. So out of it that he doesn't even remember what country he's in.
Singapore? Sri Lanka? It was something with an "S" anyway.
He flops his full weight down onto the hotel bed, letting out a deep exhale. His limbs stretch out, and his heavy eyelids start to close, when he hears a buzz.
The man groans, long limbs turning lethargically. He reaches for his phone, cracking one eye open lazily to look. Who could be contacting him at this time anyway-
He almost drops the phone on his face.
23 missed calls from Shoko.
His tiredness evaporates, and he sits up instantly, fumbling with his phone to quickly call her back. As soon as Shoko picks up he starts talking.
"Shoko. Hi. What is it? Is everything alright? Is she okay-"
"Satoru." Shoko interrupts him. "She's awake."
I wasn't originally planning a part 2 to this, but I was so moved by the amount of people who enjoyed part 1 that I had a burst of inspiration to write this! So thank you all 🩵
Pt1 Pt 3
I might do a part 3 where they reunite finally. I just like cliffhanger endings and I didn't want this to get too long.
I had a skim through to check for spelling but as usual if anyone points out my mistakes I'll crash out. 🩵
🩵Thank you for reading 🩵

Perfume

Gojo Satoru has been standing in a perfume shop for the better part of half an hour now, looking for a specific bottle. He carefully scans the shelves, cerulean eyes searching through the different labels carefully, and still he can't find it. A pout crosses his face, and he hums in dissatisfaction. Maybe they've stopped selling it? Surely not...
"Hi sir! Can I help you find something?" The sound of a shop assistant interrupts his thoughts, and he turns to find an older lady in a store uniform, smiling up at him. She'd noticed him from afar, the tall man carrying a bouquet three times the size of his head in one arm and about a dozen gift bags in the other- he was hard to miss. Now, her gaze lands on the golden band on the ring finger of his left hand, and she attempts to connect the dots. "Is it an anniversary?"
Satoru shakes his head, a proud grin replacing his earlier pout. "Nah, I don't need a special occasion to surprise my wife - though I have forgotten the name of her favourite perfume..."
"It happens all the time!" The lady reassures him. "Could you describe the scent?"
Satoru hums. "Well... its like... watching the sunset, or being embraced by warmth, or thousands of compliments, and butterflies in your stomach.."
"I..." The shop assistant nods along, trying to help despite the fact that he's describing concepts rather than scents. Not to mention he isn't making much sense.
"Wait- actually I think I have a picture." Satoru takes his phone out and the shop assistant visibly relaxes. She takes one look at the picture he shows her, already knowing where to find the particular bottle. "She has good taste.."
"Don't I know it." Satoru grins more. He purchases the bottle, watching as the shop assistant carefully wraps it and places it in a gift bag with a nice little bow. He thanks the lady before leaving the shop, satisfied with the amount of gifts he's purchased today.
The sun is already low in the sky, and day will soon turn to night, but Satoru's day is far from over. He walks with a bounce in his step, whistling to himself and earning the attention of everyone who passes him by. But he doesn't pay them any mind, he's on a mission after all. The one he loves is waiting.
This route is familiar to him, so he isn't paying much attention. His mind replays the days events instead, from teaching classes to fighting curses, to his impromptu shopping trip. Around him, blossoms have started to grow on the trees. It'll be spring soon, longer days and warmer weather, a sign of new begins and good things to come.. right?
Its dusk by the time he reaches the room.
"Hey Angel, I'm sorry I took so long today."
He places the huge bouquet of flowers in a vase on the windowsill, next to the many other floral arrangements he's bought this week- it's starting to look like a florist shop in here, but you've always liked flowers so he doesn't care much. The more the better.
"You'll never believe what happened today. Get this, I walked into class, ready to teach the first years. Only they weren't there. Turns out all of them overslept." He chuckles, taking a seat. He places the various gift bags next to the chair. "I guess it's not too surprising, given there's only three of them. But it was funny listening to the three of them running down the hallway..."
But he gets no response. You're laying on the bed in front of him, resplendent as a painting, bathed in the golden light from the window. Like a sleeping doll. Just within reach yet so far away.
It has been two months. Two months since he'd heard your voice, or seen you look up at him with those pretty eyes of yours. Two months since you had been sent on a mission against that strange cursed spirit, only to go missing for two days, and when they'd found you.. you'd looked just like this. Completely unharmed but unresponsive. Not a scratch on your frame, but refusing to wake up.
Nobody knew what had happened to you. And the cursed spirit had vanished. Perhaps you'd exorcised it. After all it's not natural for a curse to leave a victim unharmed and flee, especially without a trace. But then why weren't you waking up?
He was told talking to you would help. So that's what he does. It's all he can do.
"They opened a new bakery near our place. Thought I think I'll wait for you, so we can go together. Don't make me wait too long, yeah?"
Satoru comes every day, as evidenced by all the flowers and cards and gifts. When you wake up, he wants you to be surrounded by things you love, things that make you happy. You've always loved flowers.
If he's not here, or working, he spends every free moment trying to track down the curse. Or figure out what happened, some way to bring you back. Goodness knows he's tried it all.
He watches the gentle rise and fall of your chest, reminding himself you're still alive. At least some part of you is still here, with him.
"You know.." his expression relaxes, eyes finally showing the sadness he's so desperately been trying to hide. "It's hard without you. The students miss you, and I do too, we're all worried about you..." he sighs.
"But don't worry about that, okay? Focus on getting better. Come back to me."
Satoru spends a few more hours here, telling you about his day, making a few jokes here and there, and filling you into the most recent episodes of the show you love. His voice fills the quiet room, and he tries to imagine what you might say if you were awake.
It's early morning by the time he leaves reluctantly, but work will start up again soon, and he has to get at least some sleep because he knows you'd be mad if you knew he wasn't resting. He leaves the gifts by your bedside. All except one bag, the small one with the little bow on the top. That one was actually a present for him.
Later, when he gets home, he'll spray a little on your side of the bed. That way, at least you'll appear in his dreams.
Seasonal depression has hit me like a truck this year. So now everyone else must suffer too. 😈
I hope you all enjoyed the angst! As usual this is not proofread, please don't point out my mistakes I'll cry.
Thank you for reading 🩵

do you ever think about university!satoru who keeps checking out new books every week as an excuse to talk to the cute front desk employee?
he makes a bet one day with suguru that he can get a date with you faster than suguru can get a date with the rec center attendant. quantity over quality interactions would win him the bet, so he makes it his mission to simply see you as much as possible. but he can't hold up the line, right? so instead of leaning over the desk and chatting you up with a charming smile, he checks out new books every week just to see you and show his face, snagging little pieces of information about you as time goes on. he searches up corny jokes and puns to make you smile while you're scanning his school id, and he lives for the times he makes you laugh even in the brief interactions he has to plan out in his head (to not waste any time, obviously).
you start to ask him about himself, like if he also worked, if he was taking any difficult classes, and finally his major...to which his response is bioengineering. your eyes widen and you blink a few times, like he'd said something incorrect.
is something wrong?
not at all, you chuckle. i just thought your major would be undeclared considering the variety of stuff you check out.
variety? his eyebrows furrow and you turn the laptop monitor so that he can read what he'd been checking out for the past few weeks. he gapes dumbly at the screen, completely unaware that he'd left such an incriminatingly stupid paper trail. the truth was, he'd just been grabbing a book off a random shelf and checking it out, not bothering to see what it was. so, he could imagine your surprise when he checks out in succession:
a summary of the most important technological advancements during the qing dynasty,
a comprehensive guide to teaching physics (in german, of all things),
a periodical compilation of women's fashion from 1983,
and a bilingual translation of the communist manifesto.
i have...interesting taste? you burst out laughing harder than he'd ever made you laugh before and cover your face with your hands. what's so funny?
nothing, nothing, you insist. it's just, if you wanted my number, you could've just asked, you know?
would you have given it to me?
maybe, if you came in with a good book report the next week. you shrug innocently before handing him his newest loan: the financial workings of central american countries. before he can respond, you wave over the next student and he's shelved until next week.
when he approaches you again, he's holding his item with less bravado than previous weeks. your smile is teasing and he barely says a word, only placing the item gently on the front desk. he sheepishly slides over the book and you notice the post-it with his phone number on it before you notice the title.
"flirting for dummies."

learning together

• Parental Gojo with ill-attached Megumi
〰・♡・〰〰・♡・〰〰・♡・〰〰・♡・〰〰・♡・〰
Megumi is a secretive boy. It seemed to Satoru that he hid everything. If Satoru wanted to know anything he would have to go through Tsumiki, the boys sister, to learn even the smallest of details. And even then, she rarely had anything but a smile to share.
For example, Satoru had been looking after the two little kids for months before he learned that the two of them only had one worn pair of shoes each, that and only a few articles of clothes.
"Well, why didn't you say anything?" He had scolded after seeing the blisters on Tsumiki's feet one night while watching Blues Clues.
He had realized that he would have to become all the more observant to see if there was a need in this household because he knew hell would have to freeze over for those two little kids to admit they could use help. Especially the young boy, Megumi.
It took three incidents before Satoru needed to have an intervention with the boy.
And oddly enough, they always occurred when it was just the two of them, alone.
Megumi always insisted on walking home from school. His sister was all too happy to take part in after-school activities, but the little introvert he was, he just wanted alone time.
This day had been no different from the others, he had been walking home, considering what he would have for dinner, when he saw it.
He would never admit, too ashamed of being called a liar, but the boy often saw things, strange, dark things, things nobody else saw out of the corner of his eye.
And there, right before him was something, watching him in the bushes, it was one of them, he knew it had to be.
Tsumiki always told him to be careful walking home. The woods of this area housed many of the homeless, and it tended to be no place for a child.
But here he was. Frozen still, the shadowy monster seemed to come his way, unspeaking, but threatening non the less.
Megumi threw his backpack to the front of his body, maintaining eye contact while frantically searching for something to defend himself.
There was nothing the boy hated more than being helpless.
His heart pounded in his ears, his fingertips burned with something he didn't recognize. But stronger than anything else, he was afraid. He wanted his dad. He wanted to hide.
He pulled out a pair of scissors, the same he used in art class, his arms trembled. He couldn't bring himself to make the first move so he was forced to wait until the curse came at him. He wanted to cry.
It did not take long.
He didn't even feel the ache in his bloody knees until the burning in his throat superseded all else.
He had rushed back to that apartment the white-haired man had arranged for them without a break in his step. And when the realization occurred to him of what had just happened, be felt the tearful nausea again.
There was no blood on his hands, but they shook with the fury it took to bring that monster to its knees. He had fallen to the ground with the beast, but the plunge of his scissors had gotten rid of it. Even if he was safe, however, he would never believe it.
It took a while to find the key he kept in his backpack. Fumbling fingers kept his keychain escaping his grasp. He was so encompassed by the afternoon's events that he did not even notice the tall man (boy) in the living area.
Satoru came by at least once a week, and recently even more than that. He tried to help the kids with their homework, stock their cabinets with snacks, and ensure their health. Megumi hadn't been expecting him that day.
"Oh! Megs! I've been waiting for you all day, you know, you're never home so late, don't tell me you've made a frien-" Satoru spun around so fast, the air around him seemed to make a noise with the motion. "What have you been doing?"
Put on the defense, Megumi shrunk back, "None of your business." Even after saying it, he worried he would get in trouble, worried he would be punished for talking back, despite Gojo's response to his snark always having been a chuckle, he knew adults hated disrespect.
The taller boy did not laugh now, "Oh, it's not? Megs you make me sad, what's going on? You seem tense."
The man was coming around through the common room and Megumi shuffled his bag to hide his bloodied knees. He didn't understand much of the man but he knew his eyes could also see things others could not.
"What's happened there?" Satoru pointed at the boys backpack.
"Nothing." Megumi murmured, trotting past Satoru and attempting to hide in his room. (His very own, though he often slept with his sister when he felt afraid)
"Ah, ah, ah, you shouldn't go fumbling around when you're hurt, Megumi. Come back here."
No, no, no, Megumi continued on, just about making it to his room when Satoru appeared before him. Megumi didn't know why he wanted to hide so badly, even so, he was frustrated to see the smile on the man's face. He was bent in a funny angle to look at the boy.
The boy would never understand how Gojo moved so quickly.
"Oh my, that looks bad." He made a bleh face, "How did you make it home on those knees, Megs? Hmm... I should give you a pager, shouldn't I, I don't want you running into trouble again without me. That must have been scary. Ugh, no fun at all.” All in one motion, Satoru grabbed Megumi and swung him around his hip.
"Stop! No!-" The boy flushed in embarrassment, but unbeknownst to him, Satoru could see the cursed energy encircling the boy.
And even if he didn’t say anything, he knew that something would have to change so this wouldn’t happen again.
After that day, Megumi did not walk home alone.
---
Satoru had been busy as of late, what felt like mission after mission, he was embarrassed to say, with how busy he was, he sometimes forgot he had two kids in his care.
He felt guilty, but the kids never asked for anything anyway. If they wanted something, he would get it for them. No questions asked.
It had been late one night, coming back after a mission that he saw his calendar and noticed with a grunt what week it was.
The middle schoolers were at camp according to his scribbles. Tsumiki was at camp and Megumi was all alone.
Why had he written this down? Could it be because he had insisted that Tsumiki go, promising to look after her little brother?
Satoru sighs. Did Megumi need anything? He was just a boy... but self-reliant as a man. He had been sure the little guy would be fine, even so, he couldn't deny the tug on his conscience.
Satoru almost went to bed that night before he decided he needed to check on the boy. God knows he wouldn't call - even if it was an emergency.
The sight he saw when he opened the door would stick with him for years. Mainly because he found it amusing.
Little Megumi, face flushed, wobbling on his feet, a blanket around his shoulders, and a kitchen knife in his hand.
"What are you doing!" Satoru yelled from the front door.
"Wha-" cough "-at are YOU doing!" cough "You're not here tonight!"
"Yes, I am! Put the knife down, it's just me, Megs." Satoru folded at his hips and leaned in close to the boy. It was strange, Megumi never let him get so close. "What's going on, were you scared because your sister wasn't here?"
Satoru reached out and pulled the knife out of the boys grasp. His little hands were hot, and when Megumi sniffled, he sounded congested.
"'M not scared..." It takes a staggering moment for the boys' hands to drop. Noticing he had nothing to hold.
"You sick?" And for the first time, the boy doesn't flinch when Satoru reaches a hand to his forehead.
He is, however, quickly swatted away. "No. Why are you-" cough "-here."
Satoru felt bad now, Tsumiki had probably left three days ago, how long had Megumi been sick? And why did the stubborn kid never just ask for help?
Prefacing his care he began, "I'm here because I want to be." Satoru finally lets out. Once again, he scoops the boy up, blanket and all, and is careful to set the knife back in the kitchen before using his now free hand to swaddle the boy. "Have you been sleeping on the couch?"
"Mhmm."
"Alright. No more of that. I'll be here so you just go to sleep."
Megumi didn't have anything to say. He missed his sister. He wanted to sleep in her bed. He wanted to feel safe. He wanted to feel better.
"I have a doctor friend, okay? You'll feel spick and span in no time." Satoru ruffled the boys hair.
"No, I don't wanna see them..."
Satoru furrowed his brows, "Ya know kid, you're not very convincing, I can tell you're definitely running a fever. All sweaty… like a big ball of sweat..."
"Jus' go away." Megumi said as he nuzzled his face deeper into Satorus's shirt, "I don't wanna see them."
"Sorry Megs, I'm perfect in may ways, but healing is not one of my many talents. She's really good, you'll feel better."
"I don't need help. I don't want you-"
"Alright, Megs. Go to bed." Satoru manhandles the boy like a doll, tucking him in so aggressively tight, he would have to put in real work to come free.
The next morning, Megumi had never felt so indebted to someone, and it made him sick, despite having just been healed
---
It was only a year later that Megumi called on his cursed technique.
Deep down, he had always known there was something different about him, something pulling at the surface of his being, but now, looking into the dog manifestation before him, he could finally feel purpose.
"Nice job Megs, that little dog is one of your Shikigami." Satoru grinned down at the boy sitting on the carpet of the family room.
The puppy rolled around on the floor before Megumi, and the boy's heart raced.
"She's mine?" He reached out and the puppy, sure it was a dream, she toppled over herself to nose at his hand.
"Sure is!" Satoru smiled. "And there's many more to come. Haven't you listened to me at all, Megumi? You're gonna be super strong."
But the boy wasn't listening. Blood was whooshing in his ears, saliva was pooling in his mouth, his heart was beginning to thump, but before him was a little friend. He couldn't let her go.
"Alright. You'll probably start to feel light-headed so let go of that energy. You'll be able to call her back again soon.”
Megumi was feeling woozy, that’s for sure, but there was no way he would leave her.
The puppy flickered like a mirage. Blinking slightly, she sat up, wobbling toward Megumi.
He wanted to hold her in his arms but a rush of bile was forming in his throat. His head pounded.
The puppy licked at his hand.
uh oh...
"Stop that Megumi." Satoru placed a hand on his shoulder. "Let go. She's taking too much."
Megumi's throat clenched and he swallowed thickly. Holding onto his new friend tightly.
"Stop, Megumi! Enough!" Satoru grabbed the boy by the shoulder.
The puppy faded from the boy's grasp. Megumi lurched forward, barely catching himself, and puked all over the carpet.
Satoru's hand faltered, but just a moment thereafter, he began to pat the boy comfortingly. "It's okay." He spoke gently, "That’s alright."
The boy's shoulders shook, not with tears, but with the adrenaline rush that comes with the throwing up/fight-or-flight response. He was mumbling, a hand covered his mouth.
"'m sorry. Sorry." He trembled.
Satoru sighed, unsure of how to console the boy. “Hey, 's alright. She was siphoning off your energy too quickly. You'll learn to manage it." Satoru patted the boys back but he was stumbling to his feet now.
"Carpet...sorry about the carpet." He was saying.
Satoru jumped to stand, "What? No, I don't care! It's okay Megumi. You go sit down, I can clean up."
The boy looked angry. "No. I'm fine."
He always seemed to say that.
"Seriously, I don't care about the carpet, just go take a second to calm down, that was probably a lot."
"I don't want a second!” Megumi spun, elbow covering his mouth, uncalled-for anger in his eye. "I don't need help. Just go! I can do it on my own."
There was a surge of annoyance in Satoru before he realized the boy was probably just embarrassed.
Shoko had long since told him about attachment issues and the lack of trust to expect from the boy. He just wished he could get Megumi to let his guard down.
"Megumi." He called firmly. "Stop that. I'm not upset with you, and I don't want anything in return. What I do want is for you to take some deep breaths and drink some water. You're over-exerting yourself."
"Ergh!" Megumi grunted angrily, tears in his eyes, and fled from the room.
When Satoru found the boy again. He was hiding in the coat closet. His face in his hands.
Satoru had to remind himself that the boy was hardly six, and clearly had trouble regulating his emotions. He wanted to have a real discussion with the boy, but he couldn’t do that if he wasn’t comfortable.
Gojo leaned down, slid between the coats in the closet and closed the door.
“W-what are you doing.” Megumi scooted back on the narrow floor.
Satoru sighed, “I want you to talk to me, Megs, can you do that?”
In the dark, it was hard for Megumi to see, but his benefactor could make the boy out perfectly. “What…”
Satoru sighed, considered how to say it, “I know there’s a lot of pressure on you, and I know that doesn’t feel good. But don’t go forcing yourself, okay? Take things with stride, accept help, I don’t want anything from you, Megs, and you don’t owe me anything either.”
Megumi rolled his feet around, tapping his shoes together, “I know you don’t believe me yet, but I’m not gonna leave. Your stuck with me for a while, so let’s try to get along, alright?”
The closet was silent. Satoru felt stupid, his words too plain, his mind scattered.
“Gojo…” the boy stretched his ankles out. “It gets cold at night... I wanna change the therma-thermostat.”
It took all but a second for Satoru to grab hold of the metaphorical raft Megumi was giving him. “What? All this time?!! That’s unacceptable! That’s why you should tell me these things, this is your home Megumi, touch the thermostat all you want!” Satoru pouted, stood, and stretched.
He bent down once more after cracking the door open, the bright light shining into the little boy's eyes.
“Okay, what else should I know?” Satoru reached out to pull the boy to his feet,
And for the first time, Megumi took it.

Thinking about doing skincare with Satoru...
You have him laid out on the bed as you straddle his hips. But the atmosphere is soft, and the air smells like fresh hydrangeas and ever so subtle vanilla.
Large cerulean eyes stare curiously up at you. He's quiet for once, watching the way your eyes narrow in concentration as your nimble fingers work some face mask or other on his face.
Satoru Gojo has immaculate skin. Much like everything else about him, he's been blessed with clear skin. It helps that he takes care of it too, the both of you often stand together in front of the bathroom mirror as you cleanse your skin.
But then there's also nights like these. Nights where you come home with some new face mask you found, and it's all he can do to let you try it on him. So he sits there obediently, enjoying the feeling of your touch, the sound of your voice as you tell him how pretty he looks. You run your fingers over his sharp jawline, and watch the way his white eyelashes brush against his cheek. He wonders how he hasn't melted at your warm compliments yet.
It's nights like these that he wishes he could stop time. In all his great power, that is the one thing he cannot do. If he could, he'd stay here a little longer, maybe forever. He'd listen to your sweet voice and let you put whatever product you wanted on his face just as long as he can feel your touch.
And maybe he looks a little ridiculous. Wearing some kind of cat headband to hold his hair back, while a purple mask spreads across his face. The man is absolutely whipped for you. But he doesn't care.
You guys!!! It's my first time posting something I've written on here and I'm super duper nervous. I hope you enjoyed it☆
Thank you so much for reading 🩵
(Not proofread don't @ me if you find any spelling errors I'll go hide in a hole)

A Side That Only You Get to See

Most people know Satoru Gojo as the strongest sorcerer. A formidable force, renowned for his power. Respected by sorcerers and feared by curses and curse users alike. To those who do not know him, he's paramount to a legend. Untouchable. Unreachable.
While the people who work closely with him know another side. The irreverent, goofy sorcerer who fools around on the job and plays pranks on his colleagues. They're all too familiar with his boisterous laugh and unconventional ways. And while his students still respect him, they're comfortable around him like they might be with a friend, or a family member.
That's who he is. A warm personality that lights up a room. Someone who cares deeply for those around him, even if his ways of showing it are unusual. Someone who wants to improve the world around him.
But nobody knows the Gojo you do.
The one who comes home in the early hours of the morning, just to rest in his partners arms. Who's sometimes late to work because he cannot bring himself to let you go. He's enraptured by your touch, lulled into peace by your scent. He's quiet at home, a stark contrast to his usual personality. But he prefers to bask in your presence, to listen to your voice as you tell him about your day, or whatever new interest you've picked up.
The sorcerer who comes home from missions a day early without telling anyone so he can steal some more time with the one he loves. Who plans elaborate surprises, cooks for you and buys you a fresh bouquet every week. He prefers a quiet night at home rather than going out. That way he gets more of your attention.
The Gojo who's easily bored, because he's naturally good at everything, but still takes part in your hobbies and interests. He lets you teach him things he already knows, and sometimes pretends to mess up just so he can see the passion in your eyes as you explain where he went wrong. His cerulean eyes light up whenever you show him something you've created, and he'll buy you all the supplies you need, if only to see that smile.
Your Satoru, who's love language is physical touch. Who, before meeting you, had kept a barrier between himself and the rest of the world for so long that he'd become afraid to let it down. Who now clings onto you whenever you're home. He gets pouty if you're in sight but not touching him - so make sure to pay extra attention to his facial expressions.
Truly, if anyone else saw him like this he wouldn't care. He's not ashamed to show the world how much he loves you. But a part of him likes the way things are. Its like a secret, between just the two of you. As if your home exists in a world of its own, away from all the curses and higher ups and daily stress. So for now, he'll save his soft side, just for you. A side that only you get to see.
Soooooo I sorta went MIA for a few weeks.. but as we already established I do not have a post schedule so it's okay (right?).
Thank you guys for reading this! As usual it's not proofread and if you point out my spelling mistakes I'll leave and never come back.
