Sorry for obviously failing on this one and doing exactly what I was afraid of, completely giving up on the concept until next year. I just lost interest in doing the mermaid edits and, not to get too personal but, I'm really not in a good place mentally right now, and just don't have the mental bandwidth to do anything I'm not super excited about.
This has not been a very productive month for me for various reasons, so there may be some belated Mermay posts in early June.
