Things become so very boring when you’ve no one truly entertaining around. It was a shame he’d had to banish Marukar, He’d never admit that they helped his rise, but... It was near impossible to deny, at least privately. Without them, he’d have taken at least another century to get to where he was, if he got there at all.

Yes, a shame about them, but he’d had to save face. They understood though, he was sure of it. He wouldn’t mind getting to hear them say it though...

Asmodeus was a traitorous bastard, one that usually wouldn't think twice about turning your own words against you, doing his best to swindle you out of everything you were.

When the time came that one of his most faithful allies was to be destroyed for supposed crimes, he instead scarred them, blinded them in two of their eyes. Let it never be said he didn't repay loyalty...

The Burning Ash was not often called upon for the saving of lives, but they didn't mind answering the desperate plea of the being betrayed in their temple.
