Going to a writer’s conference tomorrow!
Heading there for the weekend—doing a read-and-critique of the synopsis and first two pages of my novel, then pitching it on Saturday. Wish me luck!

Have an original song based around Erica Wester's short film Welcome to Hell! Warning: depressing subject matter and suicidal themes. Thanks to @welcometohellfilm for creating the short and @slickslack-the-va for introducing me to it!

I know that this is supposed to be Persona 5 going by the tags, but honestly I see the buy with the black hair and glasses and all I can think is “anime Harry Potter”. Which in my opinion would be pretty awesome.

on disbelief Papyrus
Hi kids, we need to talk. (more like, I need to rant)
I don’t personally have an positive or negative opinion on the “disbelief Papyrus” AU (which consists in Papyrus who no longer believes in you and becomes a competely different person), and while I am not a fan, I do understand the appeal for the idea, because it is quite interesting.
However, for the everloving fuck’s sake, stop spamming creators demanding they sing Disbelief Papyrus / make videos about it / whatever.
First of all, it’s not canon. I understand the appeal for AUs but, in general, don’t fucking spam creators with your favorite AUs. Just don’t. Espcially if they already said they wouldn’t get interested in it.
Second of all, the music generally attached to Disbelief Papyrus was literally STOLEN. The original song is called Interstellar Retribution (and you can find it here), and it’s almost never credited and linked in y’all’s Disbeef Pyparus videos. Nobody wants to sing on stolen music, like, please
And, finally, I’d say hey you guys if you want videos on your very specific non-canon out of character AU, make it yourself. You’ll be happy to accomplish that, because it’s what you like. I say, in general, if you want a content that doesn’t exist, make it yourself. It doesn’t matter if you’re not skilled. You’ll get skilled on your way.
BUT PLEASE STOP SPAMMING PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT INTO YOUR AU TO DO IT I BEG YOU S T O P

Thanks so much for the answer! (This is my other account). The facts were fun and to be honest I actually feel bad for Sock now, so you just had me like my favorite character even more! :D
Something I've been wondering since seeing W2H (love the short, by the way!) - why did Sock feel like he had to kill himself after he accidentally murdered his parents? Was it guilt? Did he feel like going to prison or foster care was worse than death? Something else?
Thanks! Y’know, I think early on when I was first writing down ideas and trying to script it, I had Sock talking himself through it and weighing all of his options before settling on suicide… but I guess it felt like it dragged on a little too long, so I scrapped it. Having him discuss any alternatives would also mean having to make a statement about all of those things (prisons, foster care, etc) and delving into like… law, basically, and all of the technicality that comes along with that. (How old is Sock? Would he go to prison, or juvenile hall? What state is he in? Do they have a death penalty? Does it apply to minors? Is Sock a minor?)And those are all totally valid questions, but they drag out the set-up a little too long, and I thought it’d be best to just get right to the point! Actually, in a reeeeaaally early germ of the idea–prior to the comic, even–I had considered a whole ridiculous court scene where Sock was on trial (people have actually claimed to be sleepwalking during a homicide!) where all of the evidence is clearly against him, and he pleads guilty, but he’s so genuinely remorseful and believable that everyone still finds him weirdly sympathetic and lovable. I guess just to drive home that sort of weird duality to his character… but again, for a short film, all of that just kind of slows the story down, when I could be communicating that in a more natural way, through his actions later in the film.I also feel like skipping over his reasoning gives the audience a chance to just run through all of the potential options (like you just did, haha), and pick one that makes enough sense to you and just roll with it. PERSONALLY, my headcanon is that his reasoning was not wanting to inconvenience or burden anyone with the impending consequences of what he’d done. Like, he knows he’s guilty, he knows he’s not going to get away with it, he’d rather not waste everyone else’s time with a trial, he’d rather not go to jail—it’s a whole cocktail of things, and he figures suicide is both the easiest way out, and the most fitting solution. He even labels the graves “mom”, “dad” and “me”, which is just a visual gag really, but he’s also admitting to his crime and spelling it out for everyone. Does any of that make sense? Haha… this is why I didn’t go into it in the film. The whole premise of Sock’s character is kind of ridiculous already (and that’s intentional), but if I draw too much attention to it we get stuck in the set-up! But on the plus side, it also leaves room for me to come back to it later, y’know? Maybe that’s a future episode idea!Anyway, hope that answered your question, or at least gave some fun facts, haha.

So I found out about the Youtube short Welcome to Hell recently (thanks to @slickslacktheva for introducing me to it!) and I loved it so much that even though I don’t draw much, I wanted to give some fan art a try. So have a Sock. :)

If I wasn't part of the Undertale fandom, I wouldn't have been creating the Narrator's Musical, and the awesome and talented team at EchoFlower Productions would never have been put together. And some of them I can easily call some of my best friends. Undertale has changed my life in the best way possible, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Melodiva, bearandrockt1,@brightember569, @slickslacktheva, @quizzerd, @atwastage, and everyone else.... even though we're a couple weeks away from the first videos of The Narrator's Musical being put out, I feel so excited to be working with you all on what is to come. I'm so fortunate and blessed to know all you guys. To quote a line from the theme for The Loud House—"Wouldn't trade it for the world". :)
Okay, so- I have seen people getting bored/uninterested of/in the Undertale Fandom and dropping out- so- I’d like to know something...
Please reblog if you’re still into Undertale or it’s AUs or ship children!
Ignore if you’re not…
