It's so so funny to me how the House of Black is portrayed as this epitome of purity and everything the Death Eaters represent, yet literally not a single member of the family actually follows those ideals?

Narcissa: betrayed the Dark Lord and saved Potter (the half-blooded blood-traitor) to protect her husband and son

Regulus: betrayed the Dark Lord because he hurt his elf (a lower life form and a servant) and because he did not like that he was trying to make himself immortal

Andromeda: married muggle-born Ted Tonks and fought against Voldemort in both wars

Bellatrix: defied every existing stereotype for women in pure-blooded society by refusing to have children, becoming the first and only female Death Eater and becoming more powerful than 90% of the men in the organization by becoming the Dark Lord's third in command
