I know the Clone Wars more than demonstrated that Anakin and Padme had the sublety of a Bantha on a starship, but I will die on the hill that the biggest tell is Anakin's perfectly styled curly hair. That boy spent 9 years with pin straight hair and then 10 years with a mandatory close cut and rat tail, yet he can suddenly maintain perfectly styled, notoriously difficult, curls in the middle of a war???

No way. That has Padme running-through-a-battlefield-in-full-couture Amidala all over it. There is no way she would let her man have bad hair, war or not.

Obi-Wan raised that boy. He has seen every questionable choice that Anakin has made through his awkward teen stages. He has also seen Padme go through a planet wide, life and death disaster as a teenager and still maintained multiple costume changes with full hair and makeup for her and her friends.

There is no way Obi-Wan did not see Anakin suddenly have a perfect knowledge of how to maintain the long hair he has never had before and not immidiately know that Anakin has spent an inappropriately large amount of time in a bathroom with Padme. No he took one look at Anakin and knew immidiately.

If Hogwarts Legacy 2 has to be set in the Harry Potter timeline, I don't want to be Harry Potter. I don't want to a member of his team. I don't want to solve the mysteries. No, I want to be a custom ordinary student having to get through Hogwarts with all of Harry's bullshit in the background. I don't want to be involved in the bullshit. I want to be there in spite of the bullshit.

I want mini games where you collect ingredients, grew plants, actually brew potions, and manage coursework. All the while obsurd situations pop up to get in my way like the magic version of a broken firealarm that the school staff is too incompetent to fix.

I don't want to fight deatheasters and build a war effort. I want relationship building and make friends with the npcs over mundane high school shit and making fun of Draco's repression and daddy issues. Do not have me join the damn war for the nth time. Let me experience hogwarts and all the messy drama it would entail as an annoyed teenager who has to get their transfiguration project done by Wednesday regardless of the monster of the year.

Supernatual really just doesn't want to end. I am completely convinced random shit about the show will just appear for the rest of eternity, never letting it rest in peace. And we all know, its Gabriel fucking around with us.

I was initially suprised (and still very unhappy!) about the finale's choice to only give Sam a happy ending but I marathoned season 1 today and I realized the show was initially centered on Sam and what he wants. Dean initially is presented as happy with his life. He is treated more as the comic relief and the content contrast to Sam's desires and frustrations. We don't really hear much about Dean's issues or desires until later. I think the boys started becoming more equal as characters in terms of developement (and maybe even leaning more towards Dean) as the story went on. Thats the problem. The final would be a good final for the initial seasons that focused on Sam. But thats not what the show is anymore. The show became increasingly more about Dean but the final episode undercuts that and reverts the story to its original framing centered on Sam. Thats why the episode doesn't fit. It treats Supernatural as primarily Sam's story.

Fuck man, Jensen Ackles investing 15 years of his life, his talent, blood, and tears into Dean Winchester and this small tv-series. 

Jensen Ackles A-star level actor declining other roles in big shows and movies like avengers out of loyalty and respect for Dean and the SPN fandom. Jensen Ackles, who could’ve easily earned an oscar had he left the show for something else.

Jensen Ackles leaving his family for 9 months every year to shoot the show.

Jensen Ackles calling Dean his friend and saying that he’ll carry him inside for the rest of his life. Jensen Ackles caring about Dean like no writer ever did, making deliberate changes to the way he portrayed Dean in order to reflect what Dean had been through and how it changed his character. Who analysed the shit out of scripts and made sure they were true to Dean’s character and journey, putting SO MUCH thought into his every single acting decision.

Jensen Ackles, who hated the ending, but was told convicted that he was wrong about it, that he was “too close”, when in reality he was THE ONLY who knew what was right and who Dean was all along. 

Jensen Ackles, who worked so hard for so long and gave up so much to make Dean so relatable, admirable, lovable, and complex like no other character out there….only to have him ended like that… 

We all deserved better and we all have been spat in the face, but no one more than Jensen Ackles & Dean Winchester. And while I am angry for myself, I am fucking furious for them.
