cozy is a good sister to periastron!! i refuse to think that shes mean to absolutely EVERYONE. she DOESNT like lime girl, spawn or ring and she acts like the typical 'edgy teenager who hates their parents' (thoughhh i think shes like 18) to barry but peri is a whole other deal.

they dont have the largest age gap so cozy will act like yknow the average big sister to their younger sibling sometimes, but i DONT see her as being mean towards them. teasing? yes. being straight up mean? no. cozy loves peri and peri loves her, and i think cozy is one of the only people who theyre comfortable speaking around (since another headcanon is that periastron is selectively mute,, hi). cozy was also the person who told periastron about what nonbinary was since i think shes a lesbiannn 👍

anyway OKAY AWESOME i have wayy too many headcanons whoops. could i maybe mayhaps snag the title of peri anon 👀 I REALLY like periastron

YES!! Good sister Cozy yes yes yes!! If I recall correctly the devs said she loves playing with Peri too. I don't get the hate on her tbh

I think that for the sake of making things more tragic Spawn had a chance of surviving the car accident

Paramedics took him to the hospital and they had gotten him stable for a little while but he was still unconscious

Fore Ring waited for him to wake up so he could apologize for days

But after a while of them doing all they could to keep him stable he still died

Not a headcanon, but I thought it would be important to share!

1) I would have gotten some kind of email from Ao3 if this was true

2) this comment is formatted to be perfect to tack onto any fic they choose

3) ALSO why on earth would Ao3 get rid of entire fandoms off the site? Even if they WERE inactive? Who knows if others will be ‘late’ to the fandom and want some fic to read. Who knows if someone wants to come back to their 6 year old account only to find most of their fics deleted.

I’m lucky to be a reasonable adult who has seen tricks like these who also had a very kind person comment their own doubts.

Despite all their years of friendship I don't think Spawn ever really felt safe sharing personal things with Fire Ring

Like, Fire Ring would often vent to and tell Broken Spawn a bunch of really personal stuff but Broken Spawn never shared much about himself

Idk how to describe it and this headcannon might suck idk but like looking back on their friendship Spawn knew so much about Fire Ring but Ring hardly knew anything about Spawn that he wasn't with him to experience

Tbh this is mostly projecting because Broken Spawn and Fire Ring remind me so much of me and an ex friend

In the events of the good ending, after letting go of his friendship with Fire Ring, Broken Spawn made a lot of new self discoveries

He was really co-dependent and when he was finally able to do things on his own he discovered so many things about himself since he can comfortably do stuff without worrying about Fire Ring's thoughts on it

Not that Fire Ring was intentionally limiting him or trying to make him be a certain way, co-dependency just kinda does that to you without realizing

Fire Ring's appearence slightly changes when he uses the other SFOTH IV swords- for example, if he uses the Icedagger, the hand/arm he uses to hold it is kinda icy/crystalized as well as Fire Ring being tinted blue

The same can be said with Periastron, except in their case its the periastron swords- such as with the Amythist Periastron, which would emit a purple fire outline thing around them

also both would get temporary abilities based on the weapons they hold yaya !

Hello! First time head cannoning these guys since I just joined the fandom like yesterday so I hope it's not too out of character

I think Broken Spawn and Fire Ring both have BPD but it presents in very different ways

Fire Ring has the more well known presentation while Broken Spawn has the internalized or "quiet" presentation of BPD
