Okay so consider this a gift from your older tumblr sister.
Fasting, like not eating at all, will make you binge. Not eating isn't sustainable, don't buy into the rhetoric.
Tracking how much you eat IN A WEEK is the way to go, you'll give yourself room to play with meals if needed when being around friends or family.
Don't puke, I'm serious. Don't. Being skinny with rotten teeth isn't nice.
Prioritise bone health and vitamins, you don't want to get osteoporosis by the time your 20s have rolled around
carbs aren't the enemy, processed carbs are. you need good carbs so your brain works and you don't go around fainting... shocling, I know.
Warm drinks in the cold months and cool drinks in the hot months are your friends. Not having enough fluids will dehydrate you and that isn't being skinny, that's being stupid.
Learn to exercise control. Have ONE piece of chocolate, not the whole bar. ONE scoop of ice cream (see above about playing with your weekly calories). The more you restrict food the more your brain will crave it and the more people will be on your case. --- side note, this isn't an excuse to go stuff your face either.

Let’s get one thing straight: we’re not anti-therapy. We love a licensed bestie. But sometimes you need a DIY plan to emotionally boss up before the co-pay clears.
This isn’t about going cold and cynical. It’s about becoming so emotionally grounded, so tapped into your own self-worth, that nothing—no man, no comment, no chaos spiral—can knock you off your center. It’s giving inner peace in a La Mer headband.
Here’s how to build that calm, hot girl shield from the inside out—therapist-free (for now).
1. Master Your Morning Like a Main Character
Emotional regulation starts before your phone does. Instead of waking up and diving into Instagram-stalking your ex’s new “situation,” start your day with rituals that ground you:
Water with minerals or lemon (hydrate like you love yourself)
Breathwork or a quick journaling brain dump
A short walk, stretch, or just sitting in silence
One non-negotiable: no scrolling for the first 30 minutes
The goal? Presence. That’s where your power lives.
2. Stop Making Every Emotion a Personality Trait
You’re allowed to feel annoyed. Tired. Even irrational. But you’re not obligated to make it your identity.
When a mood hits, say: “I’m experiencing anxiety right now.” Not: “I am anxious.”
Tiny shift. Massive emotional freedom. You’re not your feelings—you’re just vibing through them.
3. Move Your Body (Even When You’re Over It)
Somatic release is the real MVP. You don’t need a full-on reformer moment every day, but:
Walk
Stretch
Dance in your kitchen like you’re in a perfume ad

You are not here to be “nice.” You are here to be clear.

Don’t entertain drama for closure
Don’t attend every conflict they’re invited to
Protect your peace like it’s Chanel.
5. Talk to Yourself Like You’re Someone You’re Obsessed With
You can’t build emotional strength while bullying yourself inside your own brain. Replace the internal mean girl with your most elegant inner hype woman.
When in doubt, say:
“That was hard, but I handled it.”
“I don’t chase—I attract.”
“We’re still that girl. Always have been.”
Because we don’t speak lack over ourselves anymore. Period.
6. Be Boring (But in a Hot, Stable Way)
Emotional chaos used to be romanticized. Now? We want soft mornings, early nights, and nothing but green flags. Emotional stability is sexy:
A calendar you actually stick to
Friends who make your nervous system feel safe
No impulsive texts or midnight spirals
Sometimes “boring” is just healed in disguise.
7. Don’t Let Other People’s Energy Rent Space in Your Nervous System
Not everyone deserves an emotional reaction from you. Seriously. If it’s not:
Paid
Pretty
Peaceful
…it’s probably not worth your energy.
Not everything needs a response. Sometimes you just let it roll off you like dew on a matcha cup.
Being emotionally untouchable isn’t about becoming numb. It’s about becoming so self-led, so emotionally secure, that your peace is permanent. Unshakable. And dare I say… magnetic.
