Just gave the Krita's animation function a quick go to get the feel of it. Looking forward to what I'll get to do in here.

Well, it's finally done. I mostly just played around with brushes and some blending modes, but I still have no idea what I was doing. I feel like I didn't properly take advantage of layers(and I had quite a few).
Anyway, enjoy.

hot artists don't gatekeep
I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

WIP just to confirm I haven't dropped the piece already lol. I'm still new to digital, so it took a while until I figured a good way of putting in the colours, but it's lookking promising. I also tend to go black&white, so even getting the colours to be ok will be an achievement for me.

Haven't drawn in a while due to a combination of factors(including laziness), but I'm trying to get back in the groove of things(again). This is only a sketch I made in Krita and I'll hopefully finish the piece soon.

I decided to decorate the back cover of my sketchbook. The texture gives it a nice touch.

Part 2
And, finally, the last part. I didn't intend for the moon to be a recurring thing, but it happened.
Not happy with the final product, so hopefully whatever comic I make next turns out better. At least I got some new inking techniques out of it.
This part is based on the third(and final) verse from the song "Ultima iarnă" by Bucovina:
Slab şi sur, s-a oprit în crâng, (Weak and grey, he stopped in the forest)
Din hăţiş ochi şireţi privesc flămând; (From the trees, cunning eyes watch with hunger)
Fraţii toţi se adună-n cerc (All his brothers start circling)
Lup bătrân... (Old wolf...)
Ăsta-i ultimul tău rost! (This is your final purpose)

Part 1 | Part 3
Part 2 of the comic based a song by Bucovina. This part is based on the second verse:
Ani în şir a gonit în frunte (For years on end, he led from the front)
Cerbi vânjoşi şi năluci de ciute, (Vigorous stags and ghostly does)
Nici un lup nu i-a stat în cale (No wolf would stand in his way)
Semăna spaimă printre fiare. (He sowed fear amongst the beasts)

-> Part 2
While I was drawing that previous piece with the draco, I was humming the song "Ultima iarnă"(The last winter) by Romanian band Bucovina. I decided to make a comic based on it.
This is based on the first verse(lyrics with translation):
Lup bătrân, la ultima iarnă(Old wolf, at his last winter) Caută-n scrum prada de-astă seară(Searches the ashes for last night's prey) Şi sătul să rămână-n urmă(And tired of falling behind) Urcă-n munţi, haita să-şi ajungă.(Climbs the mountains to reach his pack)

10% wolf, 90% serpent, 100% good boi.
Had this image in my head of a Dacian warrior sitting all badass on his draco, then the thought of the draco going full dog came to mind and now here we are

Some parts keep coming out blurry no matter how I take the picture. Guess it's on me for being fine with a cheap phone.
I didn't realise yesterday it was already inktober lol. I haven't joined in years, so might as well.
Anyway, I was staring at my sketchbook and put on the new Liam Triforce video for some background noise and you can guess how that went.
Just your average Phd Physicist dropping his mic crowbar after killing an mutated fetus eldritch abomination.
Edit: almost forgot to mention; my original plan was to make the Nihilanth look huge, but as I kept thumbnailing, I thought it would be cooler to make Gordon look bigger as he won in the end(so less David vs Goliath and more Saint George killing the dragon)

A while back, my brother gave me a prompt along the lines of "one or more giants rising from a bottomless lake."
I made a pencil sketch while on the train two weeks ago and only inked it today, also while on the train.
I don't know why riding trains gets me in a drawing mood, but I have lots of rides for the next two years, so expect more frequent posts 😂

Haven't posted in a while. I'm currently on the train and realised I haven't decorated the cover of my current sketchbook, so I doodled a bit on it.

As you may have noticed, I used the leaderboard to get the playbacks and, for whatever reason, the secret levels don't show up there, despite this being my own profile. Rather than edit them in, I figured I'd give them their own video.
The actual order I completed them in is also different. I got the ones in Sand and Metal first, then the ones in Jade(which were done after my return) and finally the ones in Crystal. At the time, the Jade levels were too hard for me, but I'm glad I got them out of the way.
Another weird quirk of the secret levels is that, due to their structure, I got mastery first try in all of them, so I didn't go back to optimise them.
Anyways, that's the end of Naezith content on this channel for the time being. Hope anyone watching enjoyed their time. I already have something planned for next week, so look forward to that.

Remember how I said in the Jade description that I took a year-long break? This chapter is the reason. Between Hope, Couloir and Oldway, I decided I needed a break and just kinda forgot to get back and finish the game. Little did I know Ruins and Chamber would also wait for me :P
This chapter easily caused the most frustration, both IL and in the chapter/full speedrun challenges(of the 75 minutes it took me to "speedrun" Crystal, 30 were spent dying to the lasers in Chamber).
Regardless, it's a great game and I still highly recommend it to any masochistic challenge seekers.

Chapter 3, Metal, is up.
Not much to say here other than I'm pretty happy with how it went and that Metal is my favourite area in the game.

Chapter 2 aka Sand is up.
Had a few very unfortunate bumps in some of the levels, so I could technically get the times lower at my current skill, but I'm full enough on the game for now. Maybe when I'll revisit it in a few weeks/months/who knows? Right now, I want to focus on other games.
