Hey everyone! Halev’s here, obviously.

.

It’s been a busy holiday for numerous reasons and one main reason - not just commissions, but rather the antisemitism issues rising in the United States currently.

.

I may not be Jewish, guys but my husband is. And he and his community took me under their wing for almost ten years and not once pushed me to convert. I feel safe with Jewish people, I’m happy with my growth and I’m happy to help them out if they get stuck with something.

.

So that’s all I’ve been doing. Getting into the rhythm of knowing what’s going on in the Jewish community and how to help out as much as I can as a wife and a part of their family now.

.

Thankfully I’ve been following a singer and a rabbi who have been walking everyone, including myself, through which programs to get in touch with, what’s new to discuss, how can we combat the heated zeitgeist; and that has been a big help. HUGE help. Bigger plus, they make me crack a smile when the day is rough too.

.

For those of you who have followed me, thinking I’m going to be cheering for some other team that is famous for erecting a giant cross on every street corner… I’m sorry, the buck stops here. I stand with Israel not out of religious obligation, but rather humble gratitude for the people who live there (Jew, Arab, Druid and others in between) and the amazing lessons we can learn from them.

Guys, I’m sorry for the false impression, but this NOT a christian page. It never has been nor ever will be. So, again I’m sorry if you had your hopes up, but this issue is bigger than just “feel good vibes”, this is my family I’m talking about here. And if you think me defending my family is more insignificant compared to spreading your religious beliefs, then there is nothing to talk about… there is no middle ground to establish at that point.

Being slow in life is fine. Taking longer to figure life out than others is not a bad thing. Lots of super successful people were late bloomers, who knows what amazing things you could accomplish once you heal more.
