I'm guilty of repeating songs until I'm sick of them, and I like listening to music while writing and drawing...and driving...and walking... just everywhere really! I can never leave the house without my emotional support headphones 🫠

I was tagged by the ever wonderful @redheadsramblings and I've seen this game floating around so I thought I'd join in!

ʀᴜʟᴇꜱ: you just got a kind of shitty old car and it doesn't have bluetooth. You can only buy 7 CDs and you can't repeat an artist. What are you getting?

I found this quite hard- I rarely like every single song on an album, and the no repeat artist rule was a killer 😩 But I finally managed to narrow it down!

Throwback art! I drew skyrim dragons with a pen. Then I drew the dragon shouts, and used a photocopier to adjust the size to make up the whole background. It is the battle between Alduin and Paarthurnax.

Low-key hilarious how 95% of Dragonborn end up with a Hoard. Absolutely peak intersection of narrative and game design. You consume ONE dragon soul and next thing you know you’ve got 175 wheels of cheese. You learn like 3 whole words in Draconic and you’ve got poor Lydia pack-muling candelabras across the fjords. I personally mostly Hoarded precious metals and gems, but I’ve seen people who Hoarded books and pelts and, like…there is No mechanical reward for this. Players just love to Hoard shit in that game. Absolute Dragon behavior.

Username Origin Tag

I was tagged by the lovely @redheadsramblings some time ago and have finally got enough time to respond!

I fear my username origin isn't that exciting, it's just one of those nicknames that has devolved so far past my actual name as to have become unrecognisable lol 😆

Pretty sure the pipeline went something along the lines of

Libby > Libbydibby > Libbydibbydoodaah > Libbydibs > Libdibs

Libbydibs tends to be my username on most platforms as was my original name on this blog, but I shortened it to libdibs to try and avoid people who know me offline ... not that it worked @thetumblingmoron 🙄🙄

(Fun fact though, my first name isn't even Elizabeth! It's what my mum wanted to call me but dad said no, and she liked the nickname enough to use it anyway. It's a very uncommon nickname for my name)

Fanfiction is so silly. I am playing with my dolls and people are coming over to watch. Some of them even clap and give me compliments. And when I'm done playing, I can go and watch other people play with their dolls.

So, a little sneak peek at the much anticipated Miraak-Dragonborn first meeting from the upcoming chapter of my Skyrim fic 👀👀👀

He barely caught a glimpse of tall eldritch spires before he fell to his knees, electricity coursing through his body. He shuddered through the effects of the spell, jaw clenched, metallic taste bursting across his tongue. “Who are you to dare set foot here? Ahh…I should have known. So we finally meet face-to-face, Dragonborn.” Before him, tall and imposing, stood an all too familiar figure. After so many years, he finally had a name for the figure that had haunted him for years. Once a mentor, now turned enemy.  Miraak.
