Being left out
One of the main issues I have found with friendships is that someone is always left out. Being left out sucks so always try to include people. If you’re the one being left out read the steps below to help you through it and sort it out.
Some ways to deal with it being left out:
Talk to someone e.g. friends or a trusted adult
Try and make an outing with those friends as it may reconnect you to them
4 step program to deal with being left out
1. Adress your own feelings and the reason you are feeling left out
2.Tell someone what has happened sometimes it’s really good to talk about something as it can feel like a weight lifted off you
3.Talk to your friends about your feelings. They may not even realise that your being left out
4. Then the hardest bit listen to there responses. They may have a reason there leaving you out
If none of that helps then move on and find some new people and make sure in new friendships to include everyone. Don’t repeat what they did to you.
If you constantly get the feeling of being left out and you have tried all those ways then I suggest talking to someone like a trusted adult or a counsellor. As well as trying to talk to some new people.
Overall remember to address the situation calmly and not to jump to conclusions even though it’s really hard not too.
