Pachyphytum compactum prop update. Also been growing this one for 14 months. Pulled the leaf off June 9th 2018 and now it’s this little crowded thing. I love it :)
In a 2 inch pot. Aug 14, 2019.

This is from my first batch of propagation, been working on these for a month or so I believe. Some have babies beginning to grow. Some just have roots. How should I proceed from here? Should I do different things depending on if they only have roots? Should I leave them in the pan of soil I had them resting on? Thank you for any advice!

Did you know our cuttings, like our Sedum Donkey’s Tail, are cut and shipped the same day? Once you receive them, simply plant them in fresh soil, give them shade, no water, and let their roots get established for a week or 3. ❤️🌱🔥🤤 * * * #harddysucculents #nurseryfresh #sedum #donkeytailsucculent #cuttings #watchmegrow #succulents https://ift.tt/33iScPJ

You never know what kind of deals you’ll find on Facebook marketplace! A woman was selling some pots for $40, I didn’t wanna spend the money at the time. Later I saw she reduced the price to $30, it was maybe 40 pots in the pictures so I said sure. I went to pick them up and she said “I hope you’re ready to load these.” Then I saw just how many there were. I didn’t count right off but I knew I had a deal. All in all I had 236 pots!! Some very nice, some terra-cotta, some designer, some small starter pots, some were plastic. But I can use these for starting propagation! I can use them as pots for gifts. My girlfriend loves painting so I can let her paint many of them! Overall, great find for a great deal (less hen 12¢ a pot)!

A few more introductions!
I got these 2 succulent arrangements form Home Depot. The other arrangements were looking overwatered, tired, and sad. So I decided to take these guys so they didn’t suffer the same fate.
I am currently working on identifying to individual plants, as well as naming the individual plants! The one on the right, as a whole, is named M’lady. The one on the left, as a whole, is named M’leige!

Richard is not doing too well ☹️. He had root rot from the store, I am trying to save him but things are looking grim

This is another one of my newer cacti! He had a fake flower super glued on top that I’ve been working on removing without damaging the plant. This cactus is called a Golden Star Cactus or a Golden Lace Cactus. The scientific name is mammillaria elongata. They are native to central Mexico and are very common for cultivation and in nature. They need sun, like many cactus. And require more watering in the summer during their growing season, but still be careful as overwatering is the biggest issue people run into. They need to be protected in winter, they are not very cold hardy. I personally named him Richard (don’t laugh!)

I took these pictures when I bought my succulents so I would remember which kinds I got.
