Starvel Valentines headcanons

Headcanon 1

this is the first time billy’s ever had a date for valentines he made her a valentines gift basket of her favorite candies that each had a note on them, a teddy bear and gave her flowers with balloon’s.

Headcanon 2

billy planned a cute picnic. they talked about how they first met and their first kiss, they took pictures on a polaroid. He gave him and Courtney matching necklaces

they went to go see a movie at a drive in theatre. ( that was the day billy found out courtney can’t drive

Headcanon 4

When billy shows up at the door he’s met with Pat at the door and is told to bring her back before 8 and is sat down and was almost given a long talk until courtney pushed him out of the house and told pat to back off

Can you please draw Stargirl/Courtney Whitmore carrying Billy Batson bridal style and she just likes to pick him up randomly in different ways in their relationship? I think it would be perfect for them. #stronggirlfriend

this event will take place from october 4 to october 11 and will include characters from all publishers. the prompts for the week are:

day 3: favourite lgbtq+ character

day 4: favourite relationship (platonic or romantic)

day 5: favourite team

day 6: dream team-up (crossovers allowed)

In an interview with Geena Davis Institute Brec and the cast of STARGIRL talks about SHAZAM! and how they would like Shazam actors (Zachery Levi and Asher Angel) to come on the show

no cause billy childhood sucks like he’s supposed to go on fun adventures with his family and make friends yet dc always trying to make him suffer (like he hasn’t suffered enough). he got his powers young and probably has to go to night school cause idk how he does it juggling the justice league and saving people while trying to have a “normal” life but he does. In legends he’s only like 9 and is still trying to grasp his powers which traumatized him because he thought he killed someone. He joins the justice league at 10-11 and has to deal with guy gardner but still learned a lot from his other peers. he can’t be in relationship with older women cause he’s too young and he can’t be with girls his age cause he’ll look like a creep or simply has no time cause he’s saving the world from darkseid, sivana, black adam, etc. (also he has no game but anyways). he had to stop ww3. later on becoming the wizard, keeping the rock of eternity from falling into the wrong hands, and making sure the seven deadly sins didn’t escape. in current continuity he’s been infected, and now he’s in hell. thanks dc

In a interview Brec and the cast talked about Shazam and how they would like to see him on the stargirl show.

So, I think most of the Future State has actually been pretty damn good, but sadly Shazam titles are absolutely not among them. I'm writing this, because if you've read/heard about Shazam! one, you'll know it's pretty bad, but I've just heard about the Black Adam one shot and Jesus Christ does sound like the most cartoonishly mean spirited, fanficy "MY fave is the bestest, biggest badass ever, he KILLS your stupid loser characters" garbage.

lol i was pissed with  future state shazam even before the book came out. i wasn't expecting anything good to come out of it when i read the synopsis. he was a brat when he came into new52 and now all of a sudden he’s all pure and that isn't how it works. a lot of these writers are just reading geoff johns new52 character instead of reading his older appearances and they dont understand the character at all but tbh im not expecting dc to treat the marvels right anymore
