Imagine if you were just going about your day and then a movie theater exploded and a giant Bugs Bunny stepped out of a hole in the wall and as he basked in the warmth of the sun he kept growing until he faded away and achieved nirvana and then over a dozen people who had gone missing also walked out of the theater because Bugs Bunny had kidnapped them

Even worse… she probably heard about the death first. Letter from a hopeful ghost.

thinking about how Niko's mom received her letter, probably about how she has made new friends and is trying to be a little braver, and shortly after got the news of her death

like. shit dude. she probably thought that Niko would be ok and away from the sadness after all. but the sadness got her too and now she lost more of her family

Driving home I saw a male cardinal standing in the middle of the street. Every time a car approached, he fluttered out of the way and immediately returned as it passed. I pulled over and moved his mate's limp, warm body to the base of a tree so he wouldn't get run over while grieving her.

When she gets to bird heaven, I hope she says hello to my friends there.

Another horrifying detail of this episode is that in Midnight the monster was only defeated because one person broke away from the mob it was creating and sacrificed themself to save everyone. The monster lost because it didn't have the full read of the psychological profile of everyone on board

But in this one the monster isn't caught off guard. It knows from a conversation its watching that someone intends to sacrifice themself for everyone

So it lets them do that. And then that person kills themself with a smile on their face, the moment last longer than in midnight. Unlike the travel lady who's name we didn't know, we know this officers name, that she had a story

And she died for nothing. The monster won. The midnight entity got out and it's back on a rampage

So guessing the boy here in 2007 is young Conrad and this kicks off his interest in the Doctor which leads to him stalking/dating Ruby.

Obviously it’s just a coincidence since “Blink” is one of the most popular episodes in the series, but I think it’s great that the episode that the Whovians chose as their favorite is the one where the Doctor is only able to communicate with the other characters through a tv.

Aliss Fenly, who we know initially lied about being 'clean' to get home, despite knowing the entity was behind her. Who shot her best friend before she could kill her, and let her body lie there for fifteen days untouched mere feet away. Who was the only person left in a facility that had had its security footage tampered with. Who had a suspiciously fresh wound that could have been caused by breaking a mirror with your bare hand. Who went in an airlock to escape with two troopers... and four life signs.

so RTD keeps putting spoons in the episodes with his pantheon of discord. is this relevant? I Genuinely Don’t Know. But.
