1. I wanted a Researchethic Pagedoll for my Toyhouse main page that happily jumps around :D and next to it a bunch of random sketches-

2. Angy and sleepy bean. Sleepy bean was drawn when. Yea. I was sleepy and angry bean got drawn when the printer at work didn't wanted to function and I imagined Faba is a person that angrily slaps the poor printer to death when it doesn't function...lqdjkqjd

4. Watercolor is my biggest enemy...I just simply dont know how to use it correctly and this was a test. Actually the best I ever did... *sob* Next to it are outfits that Faba and Colress wore in my dreams. The dream was literally just them standing in a room watching Aether employees commit a mess. In those outfits. Yea.

5. Left one was a "instant lineart without sketch challenge" and it's okayyyy, it's okayyy. Right one is just pure cheese. Aaaah. Back then when my Colress was less an unhinged being and actually mainly soft.

Wanted to make Lilac a new Ref Sheet for this years Artfight.

Btw if anyone has Aether Foundation OCs and is okay with interactions I would love to make OCs meet. Just in case someone is interested.

I wanted to rant a little about her Pokemons personalities right here.

Skitty: it's a very happy and easy going going skitty... typical skitty behavior. Due to an accident it will lose its back legs at some point and gets walking wheels. After some recovery and care it will happily nyom around the Aether Foundation.

Dusknoir: kind of the caretaker of the group, quite serious old man with a good heart but occasionally gets bullied and annoyed by Gengar a lot which just tires him. Is also an ancient Alpha Pokemon that was found randomly and send into research if Totem and Alpha Pokemon are related. Lilac enjoys Dusknoirs calm and wise demeanor a lot and may or may not has a favorite amongst her Pokemon.

Gengar: a very chaotic guy that will do anything but not listen to anything that Lilac says. A true troublemaker that is not feeling bad about any Chaos he created... maybe only when Dusknoir starts scolding him.

Banette: a very happy and cuddly Banette that prefers being treated as a plushy instead of battling. And that's exactly what Lilac does. (Whenever Faba isn't the one getting used as plushy...)

Darkrai: I just love Darkrai since I saw it I have no idea how she got one but I will think of it. PFF. But I imagine they have a similar dynamic of "hurt soul x pure soul that helps them" (I have this trope too often help)

Altaria: Just a cuddly airheaded bird that likes being used as bed. He always tries his best, does stupid things instead but it's all meant by heart and that's what counts.

Hellooooo!! AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR QUESTION. I am sorry I took so long to answer this qvq I got this question two times, so here I will rant about the ships I mainly focus in my stories lore and in the other minor ones I like too. Keep in mind the outcome of the story I have is rather fluff (and sad stuff I don't get into here) so everyone is a little nicer to each other.

I want to clarify that I see my HCs for my story not as the Magnum Opus. I am always happy to read others.

Oh well first is obviously ...Researchethicshipping

....Researchethicshipping (Faba x Colress)

...sometimes I call them Foreheadshipping because I feel like this fits them a lot. Jokes aside.

I think they are very fun- two scientist nerds where nobody knows who is the bigger threat to humanity and hell they are teaming up? Oh no what are they gonna do. Oh wait...they seem to not like each other...or...do they? Nobody can really tell but they are weirdly often seen together. I personally love their dynamic of "calm collected person that occasionally teases and bullies affectionate" x "easily flustered short tempered person that really thinks he is better than him but gets bullied that he isn't"

It also has a bit of "popular x unpopular" taste in it which I like. I have this HC that many Aether employees gather around Colress and admire him, even call him Doctor Colress while Faba just angrily stands in the crowd, questioning why they call him that while forgetting his branch chief title and just screeches "I must apologize but I and D O C T O R Colress need a talk...." and Colress just smugs down at him and follows him (also their height difference gives me happiness. Faba is so tiny. And Colress a giant wall of a guy...I die). In general I have some notes of silly scenes in a note book that I might share one day. I probably need a whole own post to explain what I love about them BECAUSE IT WOULD EXPLODE THIS POST. They also have this "rivals to lovers" kinda thing but ooooof. I die if they are ever soft with each other. My heart. My fuel. My final word about them is "you can do a lot with this ship, literally everything is possible with them, "dark stories, fluff, silly teasy shenanigans, just sillyness, science stuff, SO MUCH IS POSSIBLEEEE." they are two criminals having the time of their life.

And here I am outing myself that I nearly ship all of the Aether Foundation adults together in a Polycule except Faba and Lusamine because I just...don't see any intimate dynamic between them. I can only see them as Coworkers or "Evil lady x her loser henchman that either simps for her or wants to de-thrown her" but since Lusamine is nice here this doesn't work. But I am always ready to get enlightened with new ships and relationship dynamics :D!!

Now smth I always wanted to talk about was... Beanshipping (Faba x Mohn) BECAUSE UGHHH THEY ARE SO CUTE IN MY HEAD. PURE FLUFF. BUT I AM STILL WORKING ON A AETHER DESIGN FOR MOHN AND I FAILLLLLL

okay so... All of this whole thing started when I saw in the Journeys episode that Faba C R I E D that Mohn was back. FABA ISNT SOMEONE THAT CRIES ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE SO EASILY. (Except Masked Royal IG wpjclapq) this little scene made me think that Faba might have more feelings for Mohn.

All of this gave me the headcanon that Faba and Mohn are childhood friends. In the story Faba never really got any love from anyone and Mohn was the first kind soul he has ever met and he literally got an instant crush on him. Ofc he didn't knew how to deal with these feelings, let alone for a G U Y. So he suppressed his feelings for Mohn for many many years until Mohn met Lusamine and became a couple after a while. It kinda. Broke Fabas heart quite a lot even tho he couldn't explain why. He Wicke Mohn and Lusamine were a friend group but he couldn't help but feel despiteful and jealous whenever he saw Lusamine and Mohn share some PDA.

To keep things short I skip to them working at the Aether Foundation now: Faba got kinda used to things but still suffers from suppressed feelings. And especially after Mohn got sucked in by a wormhole this man went just as mad a Lusamine in my story and spend day and night to find the right wormhole that would lead them to Mohn. He even betrayed everyone to save Mohn but that takes way too much explaining to do. Anyway, Lusamine forgives him since she got her husband back and after a looooooooooooong time when things are kinda fine Faba actually gets the guts to talk about his feelings after like...35 years?? (Bro) and after some thoughts and discussion Lusamine shares her hubby with Faba too. Yayy.

And they are just...awghh as I said. Pure fluff. Mohn gives nice comforting hugs, is very understanding with Faba and listens to his rants about what makes him happy since Faba feels very comfortable around Mohn. Plus Faba has a lot of appreciation for Mohn since he was always the nicest and helped Faba on some of his darkest momest during his Adolescence. Childhood to lovers dynamic hell yea!!

I could talk about Faba for hours I am sorry.

I also love Wicke x Faba (Wickedfabulous shipping). If I wouldn't be a dumb selfshipper I'd high likely spam a lot about them. I love sunshine x grump, that is soft around sunshine relationships plus Wicke gives me so much soft vibes, I can imagine she can help this troubled man and his secret insecurities. My stories Wicke is only soft but since I saw people imagine her more sassy maybe I get down this route by time too who knows hurhur. Lilac is cheering for her in the background.

(Not related, but I also love the HC that Wicke sometimes bosses Faba around and insults him especially when she is shipped with Lusamine. It's funny as hell for me)

AND AS MENTIONED. I also came to enjoy Workwifeshipping (Lusamine x Wicke) and how I call it FlowerBeanshipping (Wicke x Mohn x Lusamine)

I think they have a very cute dynamic,,, especially when Faba gets outcasted at the beginning. Poor guy but it makes things more funny + also gives a reason why Faba is kinda an ass, man must be boiling with Jealousy. (Man I want to hug him)

But yes Lusamine Wicke and Mohn are very fluffy too and it makes me happy ;; I wish I had more brainpower to talk about them but I left everything at the otherndufbsjs

We need some more Mohn appreciation, he makes things more fluffy odhcks8ehd one day when I finish my Mohn design I might do that.

And then seeing Colress totally not caring about the cold at all since he is used to it bc *reasons we all know*. And his coat and body looks so warming...gotta swoop up in that. "Colress has to be useful for something atleast, hmpf"

With Lilac and Faba there isn't really a big or little spoon, they decide it often spontaneously depending on their mood. Cuddling time <3

Same to confident and shy, there are days where Faba is touchstarved, acts like a little idiot, is a very easily nervous and flustered wreck and Lilac "uses" it to make him even more flustered and acts quite confident. (If Colress would join in the flirting on these days Faba is often dead, congrats. Bi panic hits hard). But there are also days where Faba acts very confidentally loving and soft or like an over confident flirty little shit (sometimes he looks like an idiot...a cute idiot. Depending on the situation) Moments like these would Lilac feel also very shy and more flustered.

Faba hates PDA in busy places which Lilac very much respects and holds herself very much back, especially at work (they both try...but sometimes. It's hard having to see your loved one the whole time.) So they share cute moments only in private places or places with just a very little amount of people that don't know them.

Housework and Cooking was a little difficult to decide on because in my story they don't have houses, they each have a room in the Aether Foundation- but Faba can cook and keeps his room tidy, such a Lilac. Even tho Lilac can only do Paldean sandwiches well for now...but hey it's something.

They are both protective especially when some random employee decides to be disrespectful. Since they are so defending about each other some people guess they have something ongoing but they always deny it for Fabas privacies sake.

Now to the Bars:

Trust: after everything they went through trust is written very big in their relationship. They can be honest about every tiny little thing with each other without fear aaaah

Clingy: Lilac is so super fn clingy omg. She loves you? Now she's glued to you until you need some private space. I must admit this "sadly" has also smth to do with her bpd, she feels such a big amount of Happiness around Faba it's literally like a drug. If she is lonely somehwere for a very long time she is usually an empty and useless feeling wreck. (Faba knows this and is there for her whenever she needs it) But Faba is nearly as clingy as her just needs some private moments more often. As much as he suffers from NPD, his symptoms and toxic perfectionism are very low around her and he can actually feel genuine happiness after all the trust they gained towards each other over the years.

Jelaousy: Lilac is the least Jealous person on earth I might say- "Yo Faba you love someone else next to me? HELL YEA I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU THAT YOU CAN TRUST SOMEONE ELSE THAT MUCH!!" (literally her after Faba told her he has feelings for Colress. And someone else- no spoiler) and she awws everytime Faba is cute with someone. She is so happy for him.

Faba on the other hand really doesn't want to be jealous but his NPD literally fucks him over some times against his will. But in moments like these he learned he can just calmly and openly communicate to her that he feels bad or angry against his will right now (and then usually gets a bunch of love and reassurance)

And the rest is art- might add that Faba and Lilac L O V E to dress up in very different clothes or do cosplay, even silly roleplay. (More to that on the other Template I work on)

I LOVE what you do with it. Since my brain mainly produces fluff or just funny moments between characters (here and then i have some darker HCs, especially about the creation of Typ Null but I sadly dont have that much more) SOOO I always love to see when people explore the darker themes of something because the Aether Foundation HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL FOR THAT AAH XD and what I read from your things you have some very amazing headcanons going on! Coming back for one day after my monthly disappearance

here's art I did in the meanwhile

Little rant to the drawings and a bunch of old art under the cut

1. Imma start with the "Gothic AU" that I probably dedicate an own post to because this AU has been on my mind a bit too much. But hey! Faba is your typical Coward Diva Royalty Lord and wants to become King of England in the dumbest ways possible. Also Colress is there too! He will be the calm looking chaotic overpowered smug but "haha ◻️7◻️" butler.

He and Lilac basically have just a "Villains in love" kinda dynamic here. And Faba and Colress will be very chaotic too hehe

3. I have designed Faba and Lilac some formal outfits (but never posted them) so ye. Carry that little beany

4. As much as I love the "you are great" - "I know I am great" Faba. It's a guilty pleasure of mine that he actually gets slightly flustered when you REALLY mean it. Poor guy probably didn't hear any genuine compliments in his life or didn't realized that he was actually complimented

5. A kissu. Yknow. Seeing all my Art together and seeing that 4 of them have them have the "surprised flustered" Faba face makes me unable to talk myself out of this. But yea... flustered Faba is just cute I die. Funnily enough in the gothic AU he is JUST smug (and stupid) so maybe I post more smug Faba in the future whoaa!! XD

6. 3 of the 4 Lilac moods that she can have. The soft idiot in love, the self confident flirt that she can only be with Faba tho, and the dense airhead. The 4th mood is her empty/sadness but I prefer talking about happy things hhh. But one thing I like to say together with the second last image is that Lilac actually feels chronically empty. (Thank you quite bpd. Life would be so cool without you). If she can't be a use for someone, make people happy or meet up to people expectations perfectly she just spirals down into a massive amount of self hatred. And that's what my Yumeship Story is literally about... Faba and Lilac trying to deal with their mental struggles, their uncontrollable feelings and thoughts they often have towards themselves and others and live a happy and healthy life because thats what I need. Life is enough angst and pain most of the time. :")

8. Have ya ever heard that NPD and BPD often go hand in hand? This time they do literally- (Also disclaimer that I dont want to seem like I cutify disorders; both of them are very life ruining to live with and I wish these on nobody)
