Li Mei and Skarlet are rivals in my AU. They’re foils for each other. Both are from the ghettos of Outworld and both are talented swords woman. (In my AU Skarlet’s main weapon is two kitanas.) Both are also top teir warriors.

They both want better Outworlds but they have different beliefs on how that should happen. Skarlet is what Li Mei could’ve become if she didn’t have Bo Rai Cho’s guidance. Tanya is Jade’s rival and Mileena is Kitana’s Rival.

The Inventor

(A OC of mine)

The Inventor is a Naknadan the brother of the Kollector.

He’s inspired from Nicola Tesla, steam punk, and Mad scientists.

Genius = Crazy is him in a nutshell.

He’s very eccentric, wacky, and quirky.

He’s often giggling even if there’s no reason

Doesn’t have a problem invading people’s personal space. His friends have gotten used to it by now.

Behind all that craziness though is a good and intelligent soul.

He dreams of freedom for his people and bringing Outworld into a new technologically advanced age. Where tyrants didn’t hinder Outworld’s progress.

His design is based on steam punk.

He has a god damn jet pack that also carries his many different gadgets.

Jet pack runs on clean fuel btw.

Has a top hat too because he’s an educated gentleman.

Has ray guns too.

Is the most intelligent being in Outworld when it comes to book smarts.

Has whip scars on his back from his time as a slave.

Before being enslaved, the Naknada were a race of innovators.

They were famous for being talented architects, scientists, artists, blacksmiths, and inventors.

People would come to them from all over Outworld to learn from them.

They are actually responsible for inventing many things like the wheel, paper, electricity, the Dragonfly, refrigeration, and long distance communication devices.

But then Onaga the Dragon King conquered them and destroyed all of their progress.

He burned their temples and libraries, erasing any trace of their history and knowledge off the face of Outworld.

Onaga did this because he feared the Naknada’s intelligence.

They were enslaved and forced to make his army’s weapons and build his temples and castles.

They weren’t allowed their traditional names, and were only allowed the names of their vocation.

The Naknada lost their identity as creators.

By the time Shao Kahn took over is when the Kollector and the Inventor were born.

Born into slavery the brothers were treated like animals. They grew up suffering hard labor and being brutalized.

His brother was turned into a greedy sociopath but he refused to let the pain blacken his heart. His intelligence and the Kollector’s apathy helped them rise above their station.

The Kollector became the Kollector and he became the Tutor. He actually taught Kitana, Skarlet, and Jade.

But as time went on, he learned about his people’s past and dreamed of his and his race’s freedom.

So he planned his and his brother’s escape. When he told his brother about his plan, the Kollector told Shao Kahn.

He was heartbroken by his betrayal.

The Tutor was imprisioned and tortured by Kintaro for a year.

This caused him to go insane.

But during this time, he was plotting his escape. He finally escaped and fled from his captors.

He was wandering aimlessly and out of his mind until he came across Bo rai cho and a teenage Li Mei.

Bo rai cho helped him but Li Mei wanted to kill him because of him being the brother of the Kollector.

He joined the 2 in their travels and as time went on Li Mei warmed up to him and they both hated the Kollector. He also taught Li Mei.

At this time he renamed himself The Inventor. Because of his people’s past of being innovators.

When Bo rai cho left to train Earthrealm warriors, Bo rai cho left him with Li Mei to watch over her.

Together they met The Zaterran twins Khameleon and Chameleon, Zenkaro, and a Tarkatan named Karbach (my oc)

Together they made the Rebel group The Outliers.

Can you explain me who is chiron & atlas?

Atlas is a young giant from Outworld in my hc. Giants are seen a lot in the backgrounds of the Mortal Kombat games so I decided it’d be cool to make a giant character. Giants are a enslaved race in Outworld. Feared for their immense strength. The outliner freed Atlas and he joined them. Chiron is a centaur friend of Li Mei.

During the war for Outworld’s throne, Khameleon’s twin brother Chameleon died in the war.

After the war was finally over she and Reptile decided to settle down. Khameleon also got to start her career as a fashion designer!

Her talents quickly made her the most famous designer in Outworld. Her company became known far and wide. She refuses to use animal skins for her clothing.

Reptile is so supportive and proud of his successful wife!

Cute Kung Lao x Li Mei Headcanons for my AU

Unlike Kitana or Jade, Li Mei actually thinks Kung Lao is funny.

They have a competitive relationship. They often make bets to see who can take out the most bad guys.

They arm wrestle or spar and whoever loses buys lunch.

Overall very playful with each other.

Li Mei is taller than Kung Lao by an inch and she teases him sometimes.

His favorite body part of her’s is her long legs. They can break skulls. He’s witnessed it himself.

On their first date he wooed Li Mei with his magic hat tricks!

He calls her his bunny.

Li Mei’s pet Qí qí gets along well with Lao, but Qí qí constantly cock blocks him. But he lets Lao ride on his back, something that he only lets certain people do.

He helps Li Mei bathe Qí qí, which isn’t easy considering he’s a giant unicorn cat (Nian).

When Lao has a bad day she’ll comfort him by giving him a back massage.

Li Mei is an expert at the nervous system and Chi points and she basically becomes his private chiropractor.

She will beat the shit out of anyone who talks shit about Kung Lao. Bitch slapped Johnny Cage for calling him “Liu Kang Lite.”

Their dates are usually taking walks, hiking, or going for a picnic. Both really enjoy nature and being outdoors.

Both also enjoy a good drink. She has a higher alcohol tolerance than him. So she’s the one who usually has to take care of his drunk ass.

When he’s drunk he’ll cuddle up to her and tell her how unworthy he is to be with her.

She laughs and put kisses all over his face, she tells him that he’s more than enough and how adorable he is.

Kung Lao’s favorite thing about Li Mei is her laugh. She snorts when she laughs and it’s the cutest thing in all the realms.

Li Mei is very ticklish and Kung Lao will randomly tickle attack her.

So to get back at him, Li Mei will slap his beautiful and muscular ass in public. He gets red in the face every time she does it.

Kung Lao get jealous whenever Kabal or Smoke flirts with her. She finds this amusing but reassures him that she loves him and he has nothing to worry about.
