When “just in recent times” Or “born this way” aligns, When I control Some part or whole, My differences still aren’t crimes.

I think the obsession with having been “born this way” largely stems from the idea that you need to be “innocent” to be guiltless. 

If something is weird then you need to have no control over it, otherwise it would be mandatory to fix it. If I said that I had control over my stimming and could stop it at any time, people would request I do so. Not for my comfort but for theirs. If I said that I had control over my gender and could be something binary or maybe even cis, people would request I do so. If I said that I have control over my sexuality and could make myself heterosexual, people would request I do so. If I said I could control my attraction and could make myself monogamous, people would request I do so. If I said that I could control my disability and could choose to stop a flair up in its tracks, people would request I do so. They would never ask out of the goodness of their hearts, they would always be asking because I was annoying, concerning, distracting, or inconveniencing them. 

Diversity is sometimes only tolerated if you have no control. If you have control, rules will be made to stop it. Hair will be straightened, clothes will be standardized, languages will be shushed, interests will be squashed, weight will be lost, and so on and so on and so on. Proving that we were born this way replaces the more obvious, that we’re okay this way. I don’t need to be a helpless victim of my differences to be forgiven for them. My differences aren’t crimes.

What's a limerick?

Well, first let me structure portray -  Five lines in a strict rhyme scheme stay The first two and last With third-fourth do contrast  This rhyme scheme’s AABBA!

So each line should always have three Of it’s syllables stressed, let’s agree. It’s trimeter form And quite a strict norm For the first two and last line you see.

The couplet meanwhile has two Of it’s syllables stressed, as you knew. But harder is matching  And moving and patching  The number of unstressed parts too.

When you write a good lim’rick, it’s best To have syllable “feet” not be messed, But have unstressed parts match Like in this one you’ll catch  I have two quiet ‘fore the ones stressed.

While two unstressed each time Is common, I will chime Just one works too The goal’s that you Can match within each rhyme.

‘Twas launched by US in ‘05, A year plus for it to arrive And do science orbits ‘Fore moving to core bits Of science phase data archive. 

Its mission objectives include: Observing the climate that’s viewed, Geology inspection, Some land site detection, And sending Earth data accrued.

To meet all those goals, it does use Three cameras through which it finds views, Spectrometers, and To see under sand, A subsurface radar can’t lose. At 18 years old, it exceeds Intended design life and speeds Through data relaying For ground missions staying - It’s long-lived and still it proceeds.
